Ghosting on image from CIVS-IPC-2621V

I have a camera (which is naturally in a ridiculously hard to reach spot) that has developed some..."fuzziness" or maybe it would be ghosting on the edge of images. I have never dealt with this before and didn't know if there was any kind of troubleshooting I could do or if it was simply a replacement issue.  I've restarted but haven't really messed with any settings because it had been working fine prior to us noticing this.  I made a gif of itto show what it is doing but I'm not sure if that will show up here or not.  I'll give it a try.

Looks real familiar. With 25xx and 26xx that is the symptom of the imager wearing out. Keep watching it over the coming days and it will continue to get more and more phsycadelic, and eventually it goes black. I managed to "fix" one by doing a "factory" in the web browser. But it only worked on that one. Every other time I have seen this the only solution was to RMA it if it is still under contract.

  • CC Image wipe starts with ghost/negative image from previous image

I have several images wiping onto a screen side by side, one after the other. However after the first image appears, the ghost of that image appears as I start each following wipe. This happens continually throughout all subsequent images.
Here's an image of the weirdness.
You can see that the third image on the right is displaying the ghost/negative image of the first image in the sequence. it apears initially then disappears and the wipe completes normally.
Maybe the church image is haunted... I don't know.
    Help anyone?

This is the effects panel of the church image.
This is the next image to wipe on, and is also the next layer up on the timeline.
    Thanks for the help!

  • Updating only when using Admin mode (since 3.6) and "ghosting" leaving images of others sites, apps, even pdfs I have opened in a browsing session that you can see when you shut FF down.

I can update FF while in admin mode but when I switch back to my user log-in it says I still need to update and has been this way since 3.6 at least.
FF is also leaving ghost images from other apps as it is shut down you can see, not sure if it is a memory leak or what but it is a little annoying.

  • Ghosting fresh image of OSX W/O Time Capsule

I was wondering if there is a way to either Ghost an Image of OS-X using Symantec or better yet without Symantecs Ghost application such as using a USB External drive for a Bk-Up. I am new to Apple and I know this stuff in relation to a Windows machine but clearly have no clue for an Apple product but I am learning and want to know more. Absolutle a different and more attractive user friendly machine so far. " Less crashes to. LOL!!!" = )- Any and all positive input is welcome and appreciated from anyones experience to accomplish this goal. Also one more thing and it's nothing to do with the topic but when I open my pictures folder all my pics are jumbled one over the other. Is there a way to keep it from being so Chaotic cause man, it bites to highlight all then clean up. I know I'll be posting more information in the fuure so keep an eye out for me and thanks a bunch and have a great one...

There certainly is. In the Mac world we don't have "Ghost", but we do have a number of "cloning" utilities, foremost of which (in my opinion) is the excellent and free Carbon Copy Cloner. It will copy a system to another drive, keeping it bootable. Note that you can only boot from USB using an Intel Mac.
For your second question, if you're talking about opening your Pictures folder (or any other location) in the Finder, you can use View Options to "permanently" set a view. Open the folder, go to Icon View if it's not already active, then go to the menu View - Show View Options, and then customize as you'd like (eg, keep arranged by name, show preview, etc).

  • Psychadelic effects when opening second image from RAW

Photoshop CS6 beta 64 bit, Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit
    Radeon HD4850
Working on PSD file, then opened second image from ACR.  After choosing 'Open Image' from ACR the second file appeared onscreen, with the first image behind it in psychadelic colours.
Zooming caused the second image to leave ghost images on the psychadelic background.
Unable to work in either image, had to close down using Task Manager.

Sounds like it could possibly be a graphic card issue. Have you updated your drivers recently? Up to date drivers usually take care of issues like this. You might even want to reinstall the drivers.
If that doesn't work, make sure to post your system info as a reply. System Info from Photoshop

  • Problem viewing video on CIVS-IPC-3520

We just purchase a few CIVS-IPC-3520, indoor HD cameras, and can not see the video on the web interface to adjust the cameras.
I first tried with a Windows 7, IE8 laptop, and it will not load the needed activeX files to view the camera.  I then tried a very old laptop with Windows XP and IE8 and it did work.  I have even upgraded the firmware to the latest (V1.4.1-97), which will not work with our current version of VSOM, 6.3.3, and it still does not allow us to view the video.
Does anyone know of any tricks to get these cameras to show video on the web interface to adjust the camers at installation?  I just dont think that I should have to use 10 year old tech to install something that is brand new.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Doug

Okay, so I had the same problem when we receivied the 3520's on campus in December.  I was able to download the program from the camera utility folder and install the program successfully when running it from the desktop.  I was then able to view video on a camera I was staging in my office.  Fast forward to Friday when I was actually installing the cameras and now I cannot view video again from the PCs that I was previously viewing video.  When bringing up the camera video feed, I get a message that says the Camera UI is not installed.  However, I can open the programs list and see that it is still installed.  Tried uninstalling it, rebooting and re-installing without success.  The install program starts gathering information and then it goes off into la la land.  Running this on Win 7 Enteprise Edition and IE 9 and IE 10.

  • CIVS-IPC-2930 Web Interface Inaccessible

We have a Cisco CIVS-IPC-2930 PTZ camera and the web interface is inaccessible.  Navigating to the page returns an error "500 - Internal Server Error".   Our VSM is still able to pull the feed from the camera, and I can access it via SSH, just not through the web interface.  Looking at the error log for lighttpd shows the following errors repeatedly:
    2014-04-07 16:38:51: (mod_fastcgi.c.2481) unexpected end-of-file (perhaps the fastcgi process died): pid: 1464 socket: unix:/tmp/php.socket-1
    2014-04-07 16:38:51: (mod_fastcgi.c.3299) response not received, request sent: 1333 on socket: unix:/tmp/php.socket-1 for /index.php , closing connection
Have tried restarting the lighttpd processes and reloading the camera, but the issue persists.
Anyone seen similar issues?  Ideas to resolve?
    Thanks

    Hi Scott,
Yes, I used scp to copy the file over from the functional camera.  It was fairly straightforward to resolve once I suspected the file was corrupted.
    Cheers!

  • Satellite L650-18M - Ghost disk image

I have just bought an L650-18M. I installed and configured my software, loaded Ghost and made an image of the C drive as part of my backup regime. So far so good.
For various reasons I had to restore drive C from this image, but got a 'boot manager missing' message. Fortunately I had made a 64 bit repair disc on another PC so was able to repair and boot it.
The windows repair disc installed the boot directory which, when I looked at what Ghost had 'imaged' was missing - on other windows 7 machines this directory is installed in drive C and contains the boot manager for several countries. I have since restored the Laptop to factory settings and the boot directory is not installed on drive C - it is a hidden OS file normally on other windows 7 machines.
My Question is, how do I make a ghost image which includes the boot manager, so it will restore and boot correctly, as I presume that the directory in question is in the hidden recovery partition.

    Hello Bob
Please dont understand me wrong but your question has nothing to do with Toshiba and if you need some advice you should contact Norton or check their FAQ section.
I mean they have best experience with own product and knowhow how to do this.
I used Ghost in the past but unfortunately I cannot tell you how it works now.
By the way: which Ghost version do you use, 14.0 maybe?

Following are the various options available to view live streaming from IP camera:
Cisco Camera UI Control (ActiveX): Preferred method for viewing live streaming on Microsoft Internet Explorer.
To install the Cisco Camera UI Control, you must have Administration rights on this computer and you must allow installation when asked.
Run Microsoft Internet Explorer as Administrator. To do that right click on Internet Explorer icon and select Run as administrator.
Click on the yellow banner to begin the installation. If the banner is not visible, turn off pop-up blockers from the Tools menu in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
For all browsers (Chrome / Firefox / Safari) other than Microsoft Internet Explorer, use below options :
    QuickTime: For use with H.264.
VLC: For use with H.264 / MJPEG.
If you are still having problem installing ActiveX, please click on the following link to download the .cab file. After downloading the .cab file, unzip it, to extract the installer .msi file. You can install the ActiveX by executing the .msi file CameraUIControlV2.cab
I have tried this downloading of .msi file n extracting and running it but nothing happens.
after few more try i got this error message
failed to setup Directshow filter Graph error:80040273.....................
can any be kind and help me out.

    Hi StephanMC,
We haven't had much trouble with the Cisco cameras in the past, and we've actually been pretty pleased with the indoor versions of their newer models (we've got several dozen 6020 and 3520 cameras installed).  This seems to be an issue specifically related to cold weather operation.  As a note, if you are installing all of those 3530's inside, in a heated area, you could probably just go with the 3520 cameras with the vandal resistant conduit base and dome.  It's pretty much the same camera, but not intended for outdoor use, and would cost a fair bit less.
    Cheers!

  • Why tehre is an Image from old project as background when I star new comp?

I´m with a very weird problem. When I start a new comp, (or even a new project) shows-up an an old image from another project as background. Even old projects have this same image as background. Its really weird, looks like a ghost. What shoud I do?

What is your exact version of AE down to the last decimal? For example, "CC, latest version" is not a helpful answer, but "13.2.0.49" is useful.

I have a CIVS-IPC-2500W that is not allowing me to open the admin page.  I can ping it and it is ever giving off CDP to my switch but I can't access it.  Whenever I go to the camera's IP from a web browser I get "404 - Not Found".

  • Difference between CIVS-IPC-VT38 and CIVS-IPC-VF31

    Hi Expert,
1, May I know difference between CIVS-IPC-VT38 and  Cisco IP Camera Fujinon 3-8 mm  Varifocal Lens CIVS-IPC-VF31?
2, Do I need a lenses for Cisco CIVS-IPC-2611   Dome camera, if it is what the part number?
    Thanks

I'm just going by memory here, but I believe the VT38 part is made by Tamron, and the VF31 part is made by Fujinon.
Personally, I prefer the Tamron parts if I have the option, but you may want to review the detailed spec sheets from each manufacturer.
Also, the 2600 series domes have their *own* non-swapable optics made by "Computar".  I can't remember the varifocal range off the top of my head right now, but it would be in the datasheets from Cisco for sure.
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers!

I am trying to import developed images from LightRoom 5 Photoshop 6 for further editing.  I am receiving this message and the images will not open.....'Could not open scratch file because the file is locked, or you do not have necessary access permissions or another program is using the file.  Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file. How do I fix this?  I would greatly appreciate it if you would respond with terms and procedures that a computer ignorant user, such as me, will understand.   Thanks.

Have you tried restoring the Preferences yet?

  • Can you edit multiple images from a PDF in photoshop?

I scan a lot of old publications with images and drawings. The images are in greyscale, but my scanner produces better results set to color. As such, I have to convert the images to greyscale in Photoshop from Acrobat. I have several PS actions that make this process easier, but I wish there was a way to select multiple images from a page or PDF file and run the actions on them (a batch) instead of one at a time. Is there? Or perhaps another method than what I am doing?

I recommend that you scan first, save as TIFF, do any desired correction, and only then make PDFs. Scanning direct to PDFs is great for simple uncomplicated workflows, but a liability when correction is needed.
