Verstehe ich das richtig, das es keine Lightroom 6 upgrade Version geben wird oder auch sonst keine Vergünstigung für Vorbesitzer von Lightroom?

Ganz einfach!
Die Funktion für die Synchronisation mit Mobilgeräten, incl Lightroom mobile ist nur in der Abo-VErsion enthalten. Bei den Funktions-Updates musst du bei der Kaufversion musst du immer warten bis Adobe eine neue Version zur Verfügung stellt und das kann schon mal dauern. Bei der Abo-Version geht das schneller.
Da ich damit leben kann, werde ich mir zu gegebener Zeit das Update auf LR6 (Kaufversion) besorgen. Nur ich kann warten bis die ersten groben Fehler beseitigt sind und die ersten Patches verfügbar sind.

Ein Video für die Anleitung zur Erstellung von DVD-Menüs .
Für Encore gibt es diverse Videos, unter anderem wird dort auch erklärt, dass man die Vorlage in Photoshop erstellen kann.
Im Photoshop finde ich leider keine Anleitung dazu und es gibt doch Aktionen, die auf den Buttons ausgeführt werden müssen, damit Encore diese erkennt.
Ich tu mir halt leichter mit Videoanleitungen als mit Texten

Lightroom 6 Upgrade von LR4 Student und Teacher-Version?

Ich habe bisher Lightroom 4 in der Student und Teacher Version. Diese gibt es ja bei Lightroom 6 nicht mehr. Kann ich mit meiner Version das Upgrade auf Lightroom 6 nutzen oder müsste ich mir die Vollversion kaufen?

Lightroom 4 upgrade extracting issues

Hello,
Recently purchased Lightroom 4 upgrade (download version). Currently using Lightroom 3.6 64bit.
Downloaded successfully, but when tried to extract got this message:
A. Checked to make sure, but I am logged in as Administrator
B. Checked the write permissions for the destination folder (Desktop) and write permission is allowed.
C. I have >30GB available on my SSD HD. I can't imagine it needs more space.
Thoughts? What should i try next.

Looked at the Temp folder and all folders appear to have write permissions enabled.
Also only using MSE which I turned off and double checked to make sure Adaware wasn't running in the backround. No help. Still the same extracting issue.
I am not sure about the SSD. I think it is rooted properly? Picture attached.

Aufgrund Systemumstellungen mussten wir zu LabView 6.0.1 wechseln. Das Programmierte Protokoll funktioniert nun nicht mehr (Fehler: Al Acquire waveform wird nicht erkannt). Wie kann man das Protokoll so konvertieren, dass wir auch mit dem neuen System weiter arbeiten können ? Gibt es ein Analogon zu "Al Acquire" für LabView 6.0.1?

wurde bei der Umstellung auf LV 6 auch NI-DAQ auf die Version 6.9.x umgestellt? Wurde das System neu installiert und die Anwendung auf dem neuen System umgestellt? Wird die verwendete HW auch von der NI-DAQ Version unterstützt? Wenn ja sollte die Anwendung gehen, da AI Acquire Waveform in NI-DAQ enthalten ist (auch in NI-DAQ 7.0 Traditional). Wir haben eine Anwendung, die wir seit Jahren betreuen und die wir von WfW 3.11, LV 3.1 über alle Windows Betriebssysteme und fast alle LV /NI-DAQ Versionen aktualisiert haben, ohne dass uns NI-DAQ VIs gefehlt haben.
Falls auf dem System noch immer die Version 6.0.1 verwendet wird sollte auch der kostenlose update auf 6.0.2 gemacht werden. Download hier.

Ich habe am 13. September 2012 Photoshop Elements Version 10 im Einzelhandel gekauft. Ich habe dieses am nächsten Tag installiert und registriert. Die Registrierung ist auf meinem Konto sichtbar. Nun ist die Version 11 angekündigt worden. Gibt es für mich einen kostenlosen Upgrade? Wo und wie erhalte ich diesen?

ich habe noch aus meiner Studentenzeit Lightroom 3 in der Studenten-EDU-Version.
Nun will/muss ich auf Lightroom 4 aktualisieren und frage mich, ob ich dafür die Lightroom 4 Upgrade-Version nutzen kann.
Sprich: Kann ich mit dem LR 4 Upgrade meine LR 3 EDU aktualisieren oder brauch ich eine LR 4 Vollversion?

Each version of Lightroom is a full version, i.e. upgrades are not "patches" for the prior versions but stand-alone versions.
Your question does not concern software compatibility but is a question of the license for the student version of Lr3.
In other words: Does your student version license allow for an upgrade to a higher version of Lr when you are no more a student.
This is a user-to user forum and we are not Adobe. You have to contact Adobe in Germany since licenses in Germany might be different than North American licenses.

My Lightroom 5 upgrade serial number not showing up on My Products page; chat support useless

I purchased a Lightroom 5 upgrade license on July 25th. I didn't receive a confirmation email but my serial number was displayed on the order summary page after purchase. I tried registering the serial number repeatedly through the My Products page but for some reason the serial number wasn't showing up, even though the registration process reported a successful result. Furthermore, Adobe products bought from the Adobe store should automatically be registered according to Adobe's web site. Apparently this must have failed. I need to reinstall Lightroom 5 but the serial number is still not showing up on the My Products page. I just spent an extremely frustrating hour with Adobe "Live" chat who did nothing but send me in circles and repeat the same canned responses over and over again.
I'm currently on hold with "phone support" but I'm not optimistic as I've been on hold for 28 minutes. The only other support option was a link to this forum, hence this post. Hopefully someone from Adobe can retrieve my serial number and contact me. Failing this my only other option will be to contact VISA and open a claim.
My comical-if-it-weren't-so-sad conversation with Adobe support:

OK, I was able to recover my previous system's image and thankfully it appears you can get the serial number from Help->System Info. I attempted to register the serial number again via the My Products page and while it indicated that the registration was successful, we'll see. At least I should be able to install LR5 on my new machine now.
Edit: I also just discovered that the serial number is listed under My Orders, but not under My Products. Weird. In my defence , I never thought to check My Order history because I never received a confirmation email and the order wasn't listed after purchase...even as late as mid-August (when I last checked.) Very strange but it's all good now.
Edit #2: OK now I just feel silly. I just received an email from Naveen with an actual support case AND the correct serial number. So, I stand corrected. The Live Chat process still felt incredibly long with some seemingly canned/automated responses but, in all fairness, he did get back to me. Thank goodness I washed both feet today...

Can I open Lightroom without upgrading my catalog?

Unfortunately I'm not sure how to do a screen capture, so I'll try to type what I'm seeing.
When I click on the LIghtroom icon, I get a message box that says "Please upgrade the catalog file "Lightroom Catalog 3" for use with Lightroom 3. It continues "Lightroom will create a new catalog file in the destination indicated below. The previews will also be moved to the location and converted for use in Lightroom 3" Upgrade destination C:/Documents and Settings/...../Lightroom 3 Catalog-7.lrcat
There is a button to choose a different catalog, upgrade or exit.
When I open the button to change catalogs, it gives me one option, but when I click on it, I go back to the "Lightroom will create a new catalog"
My concern with upgrading is that I've a workflow for the catalog that's at C:/Documents and Settings/..../Lightroom 3 Catalog-5.lrcat Earlier today, I clicked on the dialog that resulted in a catalog at Lightroom Catalog-6.lrcat, but when I opened it, I'd lost all the listings for the Free Agent drive (usually G:/ where I do my daily uploads. I could still see the external hard drive (E:) where I save edited work, but it indicated that I would have to locate all of the folders I'd created on the E: drive. I saw only the default collections on the left hand side -- (smart collections, last month, etc.).
I finally was able to get back to Lightroom 3 Catalog-5, which had all the work, but I'm not sure how to recover all my collections and folders if I Lightroom creates a new catalog at a destination that has a different number. The problem is that now I can't seem to open Lightroom 3 at all -- when I click on Change, I don't see my catalog 5 in the default folder. I know I found it once before, and it became an option on the pulldown menu. But I don't want to have to keep finding it on the drive where I store it so I can keep my indexing and folder and catalog organization.
Lightroom 3 Catalog 5.lrcat works fine for me. My default for backing up is whenever I close the program, so I'm confident in it's integrity. How can I open Lightroom with the catalog that works for me --without getting messages that seem to force me to do an upgrade I don't want to do.

back to the folder with my backups and opening Lightroom 3 Catalog-5. I
think I've tried to reconstruct my left side panel with earlier
Lightroom 3 Catalog x versions. I don't have all the collections and
folders I had with my Lightroom 2 catalog. That catalog seemed to
have been corrupt when I moved to Lightroom 3. I don't recall how I did
it, but I guess I imported the photos and tried to start over with my

Why don't the ratings transfer when upgrading Lightroom to a new version? I no longer can sort using ratings--which took a lot of time to create.

Lightroom 5 upgrade by downloading.

I upgraded my Lightroom 4 to lightroom 5 , but by a mistake i used the serial number from my lightroom 3 upgrade disc, so now i have Lightroom 5 without the Lightroom 4 futures and i miss all my work from lightroom 4.
Is it possible to re-upgrade.

The Lightroom 5 installation does not change your previous installations in any way. If you had Lightroom 4 on your computer, all you have to do is (from the Lightroom 5 menu) choose File/Open Catalog and then browse to your Lightroom 4 catalog and choose it. Lightroom 5 will inform you that it needs to be updated and when you choose to do so it could take anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours to complete. It depends on the size of your catalog.
And, just to clarify, the only thing Lightroom 5 needs from your previous version is the serial number. It does not depend on the previous version for any other files. It will read and adopt your preferences, but that is all. So if the program indicates that you are using Lightroom 5 there is no need for you to try to update again. You have the program.

Lightroom 5 upgrade won't install on PC with Windows Vista

I seemed to download the Lightroom 5 upgrade just fine to my PC. But nothing happens when I double-click the application in my downloads folder. And there's no LR5 icon on my desktop. Is there a trick to it?

Please check the system requirement.
Lightrrom 5 is only supported on Microsoft® Windows® 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows 8.
