Hi, I'm having hard time fixing my .GIF file. I only had it move once in CS6 yet after I upoaded in Google+ page it keeps on moving continuesly. please help me out with this proble..

It work pretty Well in Imgur the image only move once. However, when I uploaded it in goolge+ pages it keep on moving continuously. no stop at all. I want it to move only once in google+ page banner. Thanks in advance..

If you don't have the domain file that was used by iWeb to create the site you'll have to recreate it from scratch.
Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the creation of the new site.

Clicking a .gif file only allows save or save as. How do you get it to open in new tab?

Doesn't appear in Options > Applications and there doesn't seem to be a way to add the filetype.

That image works for me and opens in a tab if I click the link on that page with the current Aurora build.
That file is send as image/gif and Content-Disposition: inline; filename*=UTF-8''BBCode

Firefox shows image.php in the title bar, but if I save the image then I see BBCode.gif for the name.
If you get the save file dialog then that might be caused by the image.php name that you see if you click the image to open it in a tab.<br />
Do you have any action for the php file type?

        I need to convert a GIF file (PICTURE) to a symbol (Button) From within The Document Class using ActionScript 3.0 .

So you imported a .gif into the library and need to get to it from the document class? If that's the case you need to right-click the image in the library, select properties, select the ActionScript tab and then set it to export for ActionScript. Give it a class name - I'll use myGif for example. You'll see it will have a base class of BitmapData...
Then in your document class you can just instantiate it like:
var myImageData:BitmapData = new myGif();
You can turn it into a useable image that you can place on stage by putting it into a Bitmap object:
var myImage:Bitmap = new Bitmap(myImageData);
If you want to make a button out of it, ie make it clickable - stick it into a Sprite:
var mySprite:Sprite = new Sprite():
mySprite.addChild(myImage);
addChild(mySprite);
mySprite.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, clicked);
function clicked(e:MouseEvent):void

I need ONE file ONLY

After publishing a software simulation I get a folder created
with six files. One html file 2k. One Flash Movie file .swf 2867kb.
Three Fullmotion.swf files(537kb,2430kb and 244kb, respectively).
Finally, one .js 1kb.
When I publish the .swf without the Fullmotion.swf's then the
file doesn't display properly. How do I get just ONE FILE
ONLY!!!!!!! I am using Captivate 3.

Gif files not moving

Aloha all, can anyone tell me what program I need to make animated gif files animate? When I download any animated gif files they don't move. When I open in Preview all pics are there, they just don't play. Any advice on how to make them move like they should? mahalo for any tips info. JB

Apart from Safari there are many free viewers which do show animated gifs.
CocoviewX is just one of them.

Gif file preview stopped working

New computer. Gif file preview was working last night and now I'm just getting a still picture. I installed Photo Impact Pro and that program may have made some changes. I can't preview gifs in that program. Anyone know a way to restore this feature? I would like to be able to click on a gif file and see it move in preview like it was doing.

First of all you have to make analysis of the issue.. why its comming..
thats why i had suggested you to uninstall your newer installed software.. by uninstalling them you can analyse the issue.
may be programme hadnt installed correctly thats why you are getting this error.
Please, try to troubleshoot the issue by your self.. uninstall the programme and then check.. if our .gif works with older programme perfectly then your newely installed programme having issue or it was not installed correctly..
you can install your uninstalled programme later to resolve that issue.

What model of camcorder is this video coming from?
Are you working on a Mac or a PC? Have you got the latest version of Quicktime, per the program requirements? When you started your project, did you select the settings for a DSLR at 720p? This is a vital step since it will activate the components your computer will need to work with many of these types of files.

I have been working on a Flash File with a lot of animations / symbols etc, and on thursday (during the Adobe Update), when I opened my file, all the symbol (movie clip) are empty, use count : 0.
The size of the file is still the same though, 35mo.
I had only this file, I really need help to repair it...

Can you please share the file which got corrupted?
Was the original file created in older version(CS6 and below) of Flash?
Were you trying to open the file in Flash CS6?
Did your original file had symbol names containing | : ; & * , etc.characters or leading/trailing spaces?

To change to manually managing an iPod you don't "unselect" sync music, you "select" manually manage songs and videos. If you want to delete songs from iTunes and keep them on the iPod you need to change the update option of your iPod by checking the box beside "manually manage songs and videos" in the Summary tab and clicking Apply. Your iPod will not sync with iTunes in this mode so it can have different content, you can get details here:

One major word of caution. If you delete songs or videos from your computer and have no back up other than the iPod you will risk losing them permanently if your iPod fails or you find you have to restore it to solve a problem. You should consider investing in an additional internal or external hard drive to store/back up your music. Alternatively at the very least back up anything you can't replace such as iTunes downloads to CD or DVD: How to back up your media in iTunes
Something else to be aware of when using an iPod in manual mode is that the "Do Not Disconnect" message will remain on the display until you physically eject the device. In that case use Safely Remove Hardware icon in the Windows system tray on your desktop or check this link: Safely Disconnect IPod
I don't have any TV shows so I can't speak from experience here but looking at the TV tab it appears you can only sync shows, there's no manually manage option. Syncing would require that you keep the shows on your computer otherwise they would be removed from the iPod the next time you syncronised with iTunes.
