[GIF] Slow framerate in browser while in preview is ok

I have a little problem with gifs,
when I export it for web and play preview in window everything is ok, but when I load preview to browser everything slows down, how to fix that?

There is no way to guarantee framerates in GIFs. Too many variables. Hardware acceleration for page rendering in the browser may help as may disabling performance-hungry browser plug-ins or generally using a different browser. In any case, you shouldn't expect this to work consistently. Otehr users wil ljust as well see slowdowns or skipping frames. It's inherent in teh limitations of the file format.

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. That will revert its settings to the defaults.
If there's no improvement, continue as follows.

I created a site column at the root of my site and I have publishing turned on. I selected the Hyperlink with formatting and constraints for publishing.
I went to my subsite and added the column. The request was to have "Open in new tab" for their hyperlinks. I was able to get the column to be added and yesterday we added items without a problem.
The problem arose when, today, a user told me that he could not edit the hyperlink. He has modify / delete permissions on this list.
He would edit the item, in a custom list, and click on the address "click to add a new hyperlink" and then he would get the error below after succesfully putting in the Selected URL (http://www.xxxxxx.com), Open
Link in New Window checkbox, the Display Text, and Tooltip:

We are on IE 9.0.8.1112 x86, Windows 7 SP1 Enterprise Edition x64
The farm is running SharePoint 2010 SP2 Enterprise Edition August 2013 CU Mark 2, 14.0.7106.5002
and I saw in another post, below with someone who had a similar problem and the IISreset fixed it, as did this problem. I wonder if this is resolved in the latest updated CU of SharePoint, the April 2014 CU?

Again, if I update my SharePoint 2010 farm to April 2014 CU is this going to resolve the issue I have?

We had the same issue after applying the SP2 & August CU. we open the case with MSFT and get the same resolution as you mentioned.
I blog about this issue and having the office reference.
Later MSFT release the Hotfix for this on December 10, 2013 which i am 100% positive should be part of future CUs.
So if you apply the April CU then you will be fine.

Is there a way to toggle to a web browser while in Keynote presenter view?

I teach at a number of research classes at a University and I prefer to use Keynote as a teaching tool. My teaching requires that I access websites regularly throughout the the class.
Here is what I'm currently doing:
1. Before the class starts, I open each website we'll be using during the class as window and assign the window to it's own desktop. So if I have four websites the students will be accessing during class, I'll assign those four websites to four distinct Mission Control desktops (I'm using the 10.8.4 OS X).
2. I run my presentiation from Keynote using the play key, but without access presentation mode.
3. When I need to access a website while teaching, I [ALT]-[TAB] out of Keynote, select the appropriate page from Mission Control, and demo that page.
4. When I'm done, I simply click the Keynote icon in the dock and resume my presentation.
This system works and I have no real complaints with it - except that I cannot take advantage of Keynote's presentation tools. I've tried any number of ways to toggle to a web browser while in presention mode without success. While in presentation mode, if I [ALT]-[TAB] out of the presentation, it simply stops the presentation and the web page doesn't appear on the projection display (because I'm not mirroring my displays) and the only way to get it to work is to re-mirror my displays.
I tried using the X command in Keynote, which is the toggle between displays, but no matter what I did, I cannot get the webpage to show up on the projection display.
Is there an easier way to do this? Bear in mind, I'm not merely showing webpages, but I'm actually interacting with them (performing research on these pages) so they have to be operational. Right now I'm assuming presentation mode is just not going to work for this kind of scenario.

place as many shapes as you need on a slide and create a hyperlinks to your website
Keynote preferences > slide show; select > allow Expose and others to use screen
select the shape and in Inspector > Hyperlink; select the enable as hyperlink box, then type in the address
use alt > tab to go back to Keynote
before playing Keynote, open and move the web browser on to the projector screen to position it ready for use

Browsing while voice call is in process

I've recently updated my Curve 3G 9300 from OS5 to OS6 and have read a lot about the common issue that OS6 doesn't give us the flexibility to choose which browser to use. But it seems that my problem is uncommon since I haven't been able to see any solution to it in last 3 days of googeling.
My problem is that I'm unable to use internet browser while talking to someone. Everytime I'm on a call and I open my BB broswer it shows ''A voice call is in process. Browsing will not be possible". I was able to use browser while being on a call in OS5 but not in OS6. However, I'm able to use broswer while being on call if using it through WIFI but not with BIS.

Slow FrameRate in Html/Js Air Application

Hi all,
I noticed a slow framerate in pages using air2 with Html/Js. For example, when I open a youtube page and play the video within, it seems to go a little jerky (surely <= 30fps). I tried even with a blank window, without other elements.
Is there a way to set a specific framerate for Html apps? (i know there's a simple way with flex apps).

Hello all, I'll keep this as short and detailed as possible.
I bought a Macbook Pro for my wife two years ago, but the machine has been very slow since I got it for her. I've always been a Windows guy myself and am very familiar with troubleshooting in a Windows environment. I have almost no experience with OSX, however, and have no idea which applications would be needed for troubleshooting, etc.
As my wife describes the issue, the OS itself is very slow. She opens the laptop and a full twelve minutes pass before the system is fully responsive. She has to keep pressing the power button for anything to work. The screen will be greyed out and a loading bar will appear at the bottom. It takes so long to load that the system falls asleep and she has to restart multiple times.
I have noted that the browser is also slow. My wife uses Safari almost all the time. I installed Chrome to see how a fresh browser install would perform in OSX, and the speed was very slow as well. An internet speed test at speedtest.net results in:

Up Speed - .89 Mbps

If the machine has always taken 12 minutes to start up, since it came out of the box, then it was and is defective. There's nothing to do in that case but to take it in for service.

Is there a way to get Flash to work in a browser while offline?

In order to work offline I'm using XAMPP to develop a website which is working great except that I can't see any Flash content. External Flash players have no problem working offline but obviously won't load anything but SWFs and FLVs.

You can open a swf file in a browser offline, either as a standalone file or as part of a web page. If the file is dependent on loading online content in some way, or needs to interact with a server-side script, then it may not get very far.

Android File browser/picker with previews

Dear Adobe Community,
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to add a file browser interface with preview icons of images, videos, and/or file type icons on Android using Adobe Air? The closest I've found is a native extension from Freshplanet called AirImagePicker, but it seems to have a bug or such that makes it crash after a file is selected (esp. a non-image type file). If the extension worked as advertised, it would be a shoe-in solution for what I am trying to do. I am hopeful the collective Adobe developer community can point me in the right direction. (Again, the key being able to visually see preview of the file I am picking, not just a list of filenames, which I can do now).

After stoping and starting Apache it still does not let the android native browser recognize and download the .apk file from the database. I did notice the mimetype changed in the database row uploaded from application/x-zip-compressed to application/octet-stream after start/stop Apache.
The last thing we can see on the android browser after the user clicks to download is if flashes by quickly trying to reference ourserver.address/pls/apex_util.get_blob?s=1529869703592527&a=348&c=51564030540477032&p=9&k1=63&k2=&ck=BF8169C3C24A2EE7047306EABEAFCB1C&rt=CR
I do not know if the bug noted is causing issues or not. I do not get any error uploading the .apk file into apex if that is where the error occurs?
Any thoughts on what is happening?

The iMac I just bought is slow for internet browsing

The iMac (21,5p, 2.5Ghz intel core i5 / 4Gb / Lion 10.7.2), I just bought on the Apple Store is very slow for web browsing (maybe less by using firefox instead of safari but slow even with firefox). It seems to be a latency issue and not a download or upload issue. My iPhone 3GS is working better for web browsing on the same network (home network with a Wifi access point)
I have a powerful cable connection (15ms ping, 60Mb/s download, 5Mb/s upload) that I tested with speedtest web site.
It's quite strange because firefox works fine within a Windows virtual machine hosted on the same iMac !!!
I also tested my internet connection by using Unison (binnews) and it works very well with a very good download rate.
I used before a macbook with Snow and it was very good for internet browsing. I really do not understand what append with this iMac.
I'm very confused.
FYI: my iMac is connected to a netgear switch. The switch is connected to a Cisco router and at the end there is the Cablebox in bridge mode.
I'm using OpenDNS service for IP resolution. I tested DNS service of my internet provider a got the same result (poor latency when I'm browsing from a site to another).
I'd appreciate any advice to help me having a good experience for internet browsing with my new beautiful iMac.

Its not something that needs to be done on any sort of regular basis and honestly it really accomplishes very little. In all my years of dealing with Macs if this has fixed anything in more then a handful of cases ( a small hand at that) it's a lot.
Processes that need to be run when nothing else is going on, like an actual disk repair, will usually force you to do the operation with the disk unmounted.

Slow respond and lag while playing game, some time will also auto drop out to main menu page, the worse case will hang up. Compare to iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G(using the same version SW and playing the same game), my iPhone 3G will only having these problem, it is surprising why iPhone 2G speed is more faster and smoothly than iPhone 3G? I know I am not addressing Apple here, I would like to do so, but I don't know how to reach them. I just want to share my experiance and would like to know did this is because of my 3G iPhone problem, or all 3G iPhone will having the same phenomena like me? I had try to reset the phone, but it is not work. But I found a way to increasing the speed, it is switch to Airplane Mode. Could you please check if the issue is specific to one website on your computer.
You can try creating a new test website and check if you are able to preview it in a browser or not.
If it does not work, please try deleting the AdobeMuse folder from the location :
Windows 7: C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data
Mac: /Users/your_user_name/Library/Preferences/
After that please relaunch Adobe Muse and check if you get the preview in Browser feature to work or not.
