Gift card bought in different country.. won't let me use

I bought my gift card in Canada. Now I live in the USA.. when I type in the Gift card code, it won't let me use it. It says I need to verify it in a Candian frontstore, or something like that. What should I do? I can't go back to Canada if that's what it means. How do I use my gift card? Thanks!

I live in France. I used to live in Canada, so my current account is in Canada. (However, I had to have my system re-done of some sort and later changed my city/country to Somewhere, France.) Will I be able to redeem it, seeing as the address is Canadian?
Also, do I need to clear my money out before I can change countries? (I read this once, I believe on iTunes.) If so, what if I have let's say .27 in my account, can I clear that out somehow?
Also, I'm not quite sure the address is Canadian, it could be Somewhere, France now. lol

If you have a credit card in Canada for an address there you would need a Canadian gift card. If you go to Austria you would need an Austrian credit card, and address in Austria, and then you would be able to use the Austrian gift card.
As for location, here's what AppleUS says and I expect they are similar for other countries.
"The Services are available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the Services from outside these locations. Apple may use technologies to verify your compliance."

You can't.
They are country specific.
You could get a New Zealand address, then get a credit card that is billed to that address, then set up an account in New Zealand, and as long as you are inside the Borders of New Zealand, then you could redeem the card.

Buy a gift card from store and put it in. Or create a new Apple ID with no payment method. But don't use the iTunes sign up to do it. Use the icloud Apple ID creator then you don't have to put in a credit card!!

Bought slideshow songs but won't let me use them for that

I bought an album for use with power point presentations but itunes won't let me convert the files so I can use them for the exact purpose I purchased them. I don't want to do anything illegal...just use the songs for the correct purpose.

You'll have to burn a CD of the songs and then reimport them to use them in a program other than iTunes.

iTunes gift cards are only valid in their country of issue, so you will need to be in the Netherlands with a Dutch billing address to be able to use that card. Do you know anybody in the Netherlands that you could sell or give the card to ?

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..

A Gift card will add a specified amount of mony to an iTunes account identified with a specific Apple ID (email address and password combination).
If that Account is set up on both Devices, then they will share the money balance in that account. And can purchase things in the store with that balance.

i the top right corner of the iTunes store click on your account, log in and go to billing info. Hope this helps

You cannot do this.
In order to use a countrys itunes store, you must be physically located inside the borders of that country have a credit card issued in that country billed to a valid address in that country

Gift Card bought from Authorized Dealer

So I was given a gift card from Verizon worth $100..Apparently, I wanted to use it to buy a new phone but Verizon didnt want to accept it because the gift card was bought from an Authorized Dealer. The gift card was CLEARLY a Verizon card, so my question is WHY cant I use it for a purchase to another Verizon store other than the one where the gift card was bought? The store where the gift card was bought is a Verizon Store, so it confuses people BIG TIME because the bigger Verizon store says its not actually a Verizon store! Which is which?!

Did the corporate location attempt to run the gift card for payment? You can also try to use the gift card on http://www.vzw.com/myverizon to see if it will be valid.
