Gift Card Never Received - False Advertising

Like many of you, I also was promised a gift card when signing up for the triple play package.  As I was told that this would be received after having service for 90 days, I waited and even allowed an extra month for processing and delivery. Of course, this did not come and when I contact Verizon, I spoke with several unhelpful agents. I have spoken with one person who was actually helpful and told me she could put the order in, but I was at my wits end after talking with clueless and rude representatives that wasted my time and Verizon's time. Have any of you had a successful resolution?  I am planning to file complaints with the BBB about the false advertising and send them the copies of conversations and my documentation that I have.  In anyone's experience has this been helpful?

I have the complete conversation printed and my gift card promissed.I have been trying to contact someone to help me but its been impossible. Including, I am getting hang up! Last time, Amanda did it! That is not the best customer service... We closed the account on May 31st because of the bad customer service. And today, we are getting charged again!!! Almost two months later. I think this matter was just solved...     Should of came to this forum last July and we could of helped with your rewards, but its way to late now.  ATT doesn't just send out the reward cards, there is an easy process that must be followed to receive your rewards.
    We could of helped with any Customer Service issues that you might have.

  • Sent Gift Card not received

    I've sent a gift card to myself (to present it offline) and tried a couple of times to resend it from the iOS and still haven't received the Gift Card. I've even changed the email addresses and checked the SPAM/other folders and couldn't locate it yet.
    Is there some problem that can be fixed?

  • $ 100 Gift Card - Not Received - Frustrating !

    I upgraded one of my phone - using the TRADEIN Promotion....BASIC to SMARTPHONE.
    I had to call three times and finally speak to supervisor.....to get the textcode.
    After submitting the textcode I received a brown envelope - I did everything mentioned and personally delivered the basic phone to the Post Office.
    Called verizon to verify receipt - they kept telling me they dont have the phone.
    Finally they said that they would give me the $100 gift card in the mail -  this happened on Nov 15th 2011 
    Nov 28th 2011 - No gift card received - Called back again  - was told to wait three weeks - till Dec 7th 2011.   
    Called back again on Dec 7th - was told - the delay could be because of Thanksgiving Weekend -  wait 5 more days
    Today Dec 13th 2011 - No sign of Gift Card.
    I have been a Verizon customer for more than 10 years....
    Verizon should keep its promise  - the way they want their patrons to fulfill the contract.
    This experience is dissappointing and upsetting....

    After numerous attempts to contact ChatandVision through their support website I decided to try this. A gift certificate was purchased for me in October 2014. I never received it. I was forwarded the info from the confirmation email and will attach below:

  • Skype gift card not received

    4 weeks ago I sent a skype gift card to my friend. I got the confirmation email within 2 days but my friend never got it, I made sure his email is correct. He checked spam after 2 days, 1 week and now but still nothing. 
    How do I procede? How can I contact Skype employees about this?

    This is not something with which Skype can help directly. The gift card will have been purchased from one of our third party vendors. If you advise which one I will arrange for you to be contacted by them.

    I bought an itunes gift card for me thru my iphone but I have not received my redeem number

    no worries, I found the certification number in my own account. Still really strange that the email was not immedicately sent to the designated recipient. I might just have to purchase iTunes cards through retail stores.

    i Sent a iTunes voucher to a friend of mine for his birthday, as of yet he has not received it (over 1 week ago). I looked at some forums and found that there is a way to resend the gift card, why would i need to do this? Logic would indicate that the gift card be sent and received immediately after purchase.

    Your friend has checked the spam folder on his account as well as his inbox ? There may have been a problem with Apple's or his email providers servers when you sent it and it may not have arrived, or your friend may have accidentally deleted it - you could try resending it and double-check that you are sending to the correct email address.

    I have a U.S. iTunes account that is attached to a U.S. billing address and credit card.  I live in Mexico and keep getting gift cards from friends for iTunes but I cannot use them.  Do I need to open another iTunes account in Mexico to get access to these gift cards?  What is the alternative?

    I sent a app to a friend on my iPad and she never got it

    Ask the person to check their Spam folder. I gifted apps and for some reason all redemption emails ended up in the recipients Spam folders.
    Surely not a plot to encourage "re-gifting" of the same app multiple times?!! Heaven forbid!
