Gifting app ios 8

So, I want to send a simple game to my cousin that broker her shoulder. From what I read it use to be very simple but there seems to be no "Gift" button anymore. So is there a way I can buy and send her an app as a present now? (other than giving her money and having her buy it).

From your post I see that you would like to gift an app to your cousin. The gift option still exists, as the instructions are outlined below.
Gift an item on an iOS device
Find the item in the App store or iTunes store that you wish to gift.
Tap the Share icon in the upper right.
Tap the Gift icon.
Sign in to the iTunes Store with your Apple ID.
Type the email address for the person you want to send the iTunes Gift to.
If you want to, add a message.
Pick the day you want to send the gift.
Select a theme for your gift.
Tap Buy, then tap Buy to confirm.

WHY would you remove this feature from iOS 6? It makes absolutely no sense why you would add so many great features and then remove such a convenient and simple way to be able to gift an app to a friend or family!!! I bought my little sister an iPad mostly so that I could FaceTime with my niece, but she doesn't have a whole lot of money to spare on even inexpensive apps so app gifting was such a simple and effective way for me to get apps to her.
Apple has made such an amazing revolutionary device, and gone to such lengths to free the iPad from being a "PC accessory", dependent on a computer to setup, sync, and so on. Cutting it's cord with the addition of iCloud, making the iPad a completely self sufficient device capable of virtually everything which not so long ago required a full fledged computer. I don't even remember the last time I actually even turned my computer on because Apple had done such an amazing job at providing the iPad with the functionality to serve all of my needs independently. So now I suppose I'm thankful I didn't end up selling off my computer like I had planned, since I'll have to dust it off occasionally just to send my sister a $.99 cent app!? Removing app gifting from within iOS is a HUGE mistake not to mention taking a step backwards requiring you to use iTunes on a computer just to gift a simple little app? Come on Apple, this is ABSURD, ADD IT BACK to iOS NOW!!! Ultimately this dumb maneuver has to be cutting into profits so it's a lose/lose for the app developers, for myself and others who gifted apps fairly frequently, as well Apple themselves! It completely blows my mind as to why they would even think of taking that option out of iOS!

Hey everyone,
I have a problem with a gift app I sent.
I am a member of the UK store and I sent a gift app to my girlfriend which is a member of the Italian store. I sent her an app that is available in both stores but she can't seem to downlload it because she isn't a member of the same store.
What can I do?

Gifted apps missing after updating

Months ago, I asked my friend to help me purchasing Whatsapp via the appstore as a gifted app to me.
I've enjoyed using it for a few months.
However, few days ago I updated my phone to ios 6.1.3 and Whatsapp was missing
Is it my iphone didn't recognise Whatsapp as my purchase and deleted it or I should contact support for help?

Apps can be re-downloaded for free: App Store>Updates>Purchased>Not on this Phone...just re-download them.

It can't easily be done. You can only gift an iOS app to someone who lives in the same country as you do and uses the same iTunes Store. You cannot send a US iTunes gift card to Russia, because it would not be redeemable in the Russian iTunes Store.

Why did apple get rid of gifting in iOS 6? I did all my app gifting from my iPhone and iPad. I have to say, I will probably gift less since it's way less convent now.

Then you and the other people to whom you refer were contributing to "backscatter" and possible relaying of spam/viruses. Not to mention that you were providing a test bed for spammers to test mail servers and addresses.
Bouncing is similar to auto reply. Email could get caught up in infinite loops. These actions should only be configured at the server level not in an email client.
Short example: A spammer sends you an email using my return address. You bounce the email. I get your bounce and have set up my own bounce. You get the email back from my bounce. You bounce it back to me, you get the picture.

Currently the Mac App Store does not offer the ability to gift and app.
You can send someone who lives in the same country as you do and uses that country's Mac App Store an iTunes Gift Card* or an iTunes Electronic Gift Certificate* to cover the cost of the app you wish to give to them.
*If available in that country.

You can use your iTunes Store balance to purchase from the Mac App Store, but not from the Apple Online Store.

HT2736 Why can I not GIFT apps using my current iTunes balance???

Why can I not GIFT apps using my current iTunes balance??? It allows you to pay using credit card, paypal, or a new iTunes card, but why can we not gift apps and songs to each other using the current balance we have on our accounts from previous iTunes gift card purchases etc.?
Either I am missing something very obvious here, or Apple's greedy stance on gifting is actually creating less usage of the feature, because I for one would not think twice about purchasing gifts for people with a current balance that is already accounted for, but when it comes to adding money or using a card, it just feels like a new payment, and a bigger monetary burden.
Please let me know how to do this if it is possible, and if it is not, then PLEASE FIX ?

I agree with some points that is how it works. Because apple do things they want....
It's quite nice that way being so unique and remarkable. However it is so inconvenient for users who sometimes just want to gift things without a credit card or such whatever. Because sometimes it's meaningless to have balance when you aren't able to spend it.
The point is made. Many are not happy with it but that's life. Just take it or leave it...

Have your friend check any spam filters on his system or email account first, though, to make sure emails from Apple aren't being blocked.

I have around $50 in credit on my account from an itunes gift card I just redeemed. I was planning on gifting some apps and music to someone but it asks for a credit card. How can I use the credit on my account to gift apps?

Ok. I wouldn't have redeemed it if I knew that. I'm not sure why Apple doesn't allow it?

App ios from flash builder add appStore problem

I create an apps iOS FB4.7 with Apache Flex sdk 4.11.0 FP 12.0 AIR 4.0 en_US I have a problem with adding it to the AppStore. Gets a message the error message: ERROR ITMS-9000: "No architectures in the binary. Lipo failed to detect any architectures in the bundle executable.". Whether it may have a relationship with the new Apple SDK 8? Could there be another reason?

The iPad and iPhone have NEVER supported Flash and never will. In fact, Adobe is no longer distributing Flash builds to mobile devices.
Time to move on...
