Everything seems fine to me but in the gifToxic program show "Connected to: NOT CONNECTED"

i dont know if the following will help you...but i had a similar
problem.
first thing was the oracle i was trying to connect was 8.1.7 and
my oracle jdbc driver version was 8.1.6.
After i upgraded my jdbc driver to 8.1.7, still i was unable to
connect through jdbc, even thoug i was able to connect through
sql plus.
The problem was that In the Net8 Configuration, the name of the
local service naming(xyz) was different than the 'service name'
(abc)in the service identification. (SID is not being used in
8.1.7, instead Service name is being used).
so thorugh sql plus when i was logging in as user/passwd@xyz, i
was able to connect. but in jdbc i had to give the connect
string
as "jdbc:oracle:thin:@host:port:abc","user","passwd". 'abc' was
the service name as defined in the Service Identification block
in the Net8 Assistant.
If you recheck all these point sagain, may be you will be able
to connect thorugh JDBC.

What happens when you try and refresh the database, Administration > Application > Refresh Database > Select Database and Refresh
Does it still error out? If so are you sure you can login into essbase using say EAS of Maxl
If it does let you refresh, does it still error when you go back to the form?

New MacBook with Lion can't connect my WiFi with WEP 128bits

Well, Hi Apple's users !
I've received my brand new Mac Book Pro 2012 last week. It was installed with last version of OSX Lion.
At work, not problem to connect to WiFi crypted in WPA Enterprise.
At home, i absolutly can't connect to my personnal WiFi crypted in WEP 128bits and with a MAC Address filtrer. If I remove the WEP protection, then it works well. If i remove only Mac Address filtrer, it still not work.
I don't receive any error message as if the password was wrong. I've both tested the hexadecimal code and the passphrase... still get the "?" and no connexion.
I've read a lot of probleme exist on this Lion version with WiFi...
I could add that all my other device as : iPad 2, iMac, PC, Smartphone, DS, PS3 and Wii works correctly !
What should i do ?

There is a barely acknowledged issue. For Mac users Apple has released an update to the app, but for iOS users the recommendation is for users to update their ipad to the most recent operating system.
There may be a fix coming for iOS6 users (which seem to be many of those having problems) or there may not be. If your ipad isn't up to date then you can update it and see if that helps, or if you don't want to update then you may want to wait and see if there is either a fix or if it fixes itself.

RE1000 with WRT610N can't connect detailed.

so far I have invested via the linksys online support chat (very appreciativeof the effort)10 hours trying every and any way possible to connect the RE1000 to my Linksys WRT610N to no avail..the online support team has had me try everything and yet NOTHING will work..I took back the RE1000 to best buy and exchanged for another and still no luck..if I attempt to use the CD that comes with the RE1000 it gets to the step where it wants to connect to my network but refresh after refresh and my SSID will not show up..when I try and connect manually (laptop hard lined to router as well RE1000 hard wired) I can see my network but when I hit connect it just refreshing the screen trying to connect and then NO connection (many times it will kick me to the manual screen for the router>>??)..My router settings are as follows 5 Ghz channel with unique ssid, channel width 40hz, wide channel 159, standard channel 161-5.805Ghz, sssi broadcast enabled... 2.4 Ghz channel set to Network mode mixed, diff SSID than 5 ghz, Channel set to auto (20mhz or 40mhz) wide channel auto, standard channel auto and ssid broadcast enabled.. Wireless security 5GHZ set to WPA2-personal AES...2.4 GHZ set to WPA-personal, AES...Wireless MAC filter set to enabled...restriction prevent..nothing under client list... In order expand the wireless signal you can go for RE1000 (Range Extender). The RE1000 is meant to extend the range of an 802.11n network. While the device has the ability to extend the signal for a traditional 802.11g router, still it is not recommended. The reason for this is because the RE1000 is built to extend 2.4 Ghz 802.11n signals which use MIMO as well as other advanced technologies, if attempting to extend a G network you will not achieve the desired performance because it is not optimized to extend standard 802.11G signals.
There are four (4) wireless settings that you need to identify on your router or access point before setting up your RE1000.
•    Wireless network name (SSID)
•    Wireless channel
•    Wireless security mode (WPA/WPA2 Personal or WEP)
•    Network key or passphrase

Lastly and most importantly, remember that in order to get the best performance from an RE1000 you need to place the extender in an area where you still have at least 50% signal strength to your router when you place it in the final location where the RE1000 will be used. To configure the RE1000 you will need to login to the UI after you have put the RE1000 in the final location to verify the signal strength below is a reminder about signal bars and what they mean as a reminder
For ALL configurations you should have between 2-3 bars of signal at the very least. If you have less we will need to move the RE1000 closer to the router. You can also check the status on the status page of the RE1000 as well. On the status page it measures both Signal Strength and Signal Quality. If either set of bars is red you must move the RE1000 closer to the Router.

This question seems "answered" without an answer actually being there? I see the same problem - connecting the phone to my (Ubuntu/Linux) machine before (running GB) ended up in the phone (SD card) being mounted as external USB storage device just as one would except. With ICS, this doesn't seem to work out of the box anymore, but unfortunately so far I also didn't manage to change this behaviour. Any hints on that?

Treo Pro: After establishing Bluetooth connection with laptop, can't connect to P.A.N. Windows XP Pro

I am able to setup a Bluetooth partner ship between my Treo Pro and my laptop without much difficulty. However when I try to establish a PAN connection via My Network Connections, I receive the following Windows error message:
The connection with the Bluetooth network device failed. The device may already be connected to another computer, or it may need to be configured to accept connections from this computer. Consult your device documentation for further information.
Any assistance with this matter would be much appreciated.

No, that is not what I am referring too. I am way ahead of you there. I can pair my phone to my computer without any difficulties. My computer sees my phone and my phone sees my computer. Here is the route I am referring too; control panel, bluetooth devices, single click on paired Treo Pro, properties button, new window second tab (services), blank screen and no ability to add services. Very similar on the phone itself. For instance, when paired with my Plantronics headset, which by the way is not on the list, but works perfectly, the services box lists "hands free". When connected to the the computer, one of the services should be PAN connection.

Need help with WRT54GL, can't connect on wireless just cable

I have a WRT54GL, firmware 4.30.5. It is connected to a cable modem. I have two computers, one mac and one pc using XP SP2. Mac works great with its airport adapter but the pc only works with the cable. I tried two separate wireless USB adapters but can't get it to connect to the internet.
I can connect to the router but it keeps getting stock at the acquiring network address. I already set the Mac filter and the connection is Excellent but no internet.
Router is set to Auto DHCP. I appreciate any help.

Thanks for your help. Actually late last night I installed the EasyConnect Utility from Linksys.com and it managed to connect to the wireless router and connected to the Internet. But now my problem is the connection is VERY SLOW. The signal strength is Excellent but it takes a long while to download any page with flash or images. I did a Speakeasy.net speed test and it came our under 100K for download and about 200K for upload. When I connect a network cable directly to the router then the speed shoots up to over 1.5M+

Mac Pro with X1900 - can I connect both 20" LCD and Sony Monitor?

I'm about to purchase a Mac Pro with the x1900 for editing video with Final Cut Pro Studio. I'll use a 20" monitor for main viewing, but would like to use a Sony PVM-14L2 as a playback monitor via Component video. Can I use one of the DVI outs of the x1900 to go to the Sony? Is anyone using a set-up like this? I figure it must be pretty common for folks who edit video on a Mac Pro to output to a playback monitor via Component video. Will the x1900 let me do that with the right cable?

Hmm. I have that computer, card and dongle - I'll try it out tonight (PST) and let you know.
My gut feeling is that it won't work, or won't work as you would hope.
My powerbook had SVideo out on it, but even when connected to a TV, it would not work as a video out in the same way a fire wire preview through a camcorder did - it was a second monitor on a TV, and was not the same at all as a video out feed (it looked rather horrible in fact).
So, even if this does produce a component out signal, suitable for HDTV, I doubt it will work as a playback monitor.
But I'll post back in about 8 hours time (if someone does not beat me to it.)

Safari can't connect to any servers or webpages

Hi,
I have my internet running without issues. I use Firefox, and currently viewing this page and typing.
Also I can access an FTP server elsewhere in another country.
However when I open Safari, I can't seem to get on any websites with "Safari can't connect to the Server" no matter where I go.
I tried to go on Apple site to download Safari but only available version is the Snow Leopard.
Any idea how I can fix this problem?

Update your DNS to a known-good server, such as OpenDNS or Google DNS.

Skype can't connect. HOW DO I FIX IT!!!!!!!

Everytime i bring up my skype program i log in and the blue circle spins for about 20 seconds. Then highlighted in yellow it comes up with, Skype can't connect. I have tried re-installing it, and fidiling with my internet options. My firewall is completly off and i dont use a proxy server i use a ADSL connection and i dont have a wireless router. Yes, configure the Time Capsule to create a wireless network using the exact same wireless network name and password as the Linksys wireless network.

Skype can't connect. Tried everything.

Literally can't think of anything else to try.
Issue only happens on 1 computer. Everything else on it works fine.
Other computers work fine.
Tried uninstall/reinstall with latest version.
Tried setting rules in the firewall to allow all connections on all ports.
Tried disabling the firewall.
Tried different user account.
Tried disabling antivirus
Tried removing antivirus
Tried different skype account
Everytime I login I'm met with "Skype can't connect".
I am out of ideas and would appreciate any input.
