GigaWorks G550W Wireless headphone support

Hello
I read that the GigaWorks ProGamer G550W has wireless head phone support, but in the users guide it only says "with select creative headphones" but it doesn't say which ones. I have searched this website and can't seem to find anything.
I was also wondering if it would support more than one wireless pair of headphones at the same time.
Thank you
David

You may need to contact support on this issue. When you turn on the wireless receiver, it should be detecte with in one second (the LED will change from red to blue.) Sorry if I wasn't much help.

  • A2DP Wireless Headphone Support

I have a 17in PowerBook G4. I recently purchased a pair of Logitech bluetooth headphones for use with my iPod. Using the bluetooth control panel in OS 10.4.7 (or whatever is the current latest version), I was able to get the computer to recognized and pair with the headphones using the 0000 passkey to pair up the system. However, the computer does not recognize any services from these headphones. As I understand it, the bluetooth chipset used by Apple is able to support the A2DP wireless protocol but the software has not been written yet to make it so. Does anyone know of a patch or other means to use the bluetooth built into my laptop to communicate with my headphones? I'm awfully sick and tired of using the little extension bridge for the iPod module to listen to 'tunes from the 'top.
    Thanks!

There are a lot of people hoping Apple releases a software or firmware update to enable this, but for now it isn't possible. I haven't been able to locate anything stating when they might come out with something, either.

  • Pairing Bravia KDL-50W829B with Wireless headphones (Sony BTN200)

Hi, Own the KDLW829 set and recently purchased a set of Sony wireless headphones. I am not sure if the bluetooth option is designed to work for headphones - I have tried pairing but haven't been successful and a google search did throw up the likelihood that the bluetooth support for this TV only works for mouse/keyboard devices. Can someone clarify? Thanks

    Hello jacksuarez7,
Greetings and thank you for your message. Based on the model you have provided KDL-50W829B, the only device supported for use with the Television is a Bluetooth mouse, it will allow you to register up to two units only.
In order to use your set of headphones it will be necessary to connect them directly to the Headphone / Audio out port available on the right rear side of your television and proceed changing the audio out setting to headphone as shown below:

  • Questions about Digital Wireless Headphones CB2

    Hi everyone,
I have a question about the [url="http://nl.europe.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=437&subcategory=438&product=6 44" target=_self>Digital Wireless Headphones CB2530[/url] I've never seen it in a shop here in Holland, so I thought I'll pose my questions here.
I'm interested in buying one for my Creative Zen Xtra MP3 player.
    My questions are:
    - if it's possible to connect it to the player?
    - can I use it while traveling (can i hear something if I put the player in my bag)?
    - is it a good idea to buy this headphone? (i already have a great headphone by Philips, but am looking for wireless)
I also have a question concerning a remote control. Is there one for the Creative Zen Xtra?
    I hope so...
    Thanks in advance.
    Greetings,
    Eline

    Eline,
Yes, you can connect the wireless headphone to the player. Infact you can connect it to any stereo devices with the audio transmitter as long it's using a 3.5mm minijack. It shouldn't be a problem for the audio even if the player is inside the bag. It works about the same way as a mobilephone to a Bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, the Zen Xtra player does not support remote control feature.

  • What's the highest quality iphone 5 wireless headphone solution?

Is there a better solution than an aptx dongle on my iphone 5 paired with aptx headphones? the information out there is confusing, like apple supports AAC, bluetooth supports AAC, but is there such a thing as using AAC bluetooth with say spotify? or does it mean you can only stream an AAC file through bluetooth? basically all im trying to do is get the best quality i can with wireless headphones, and its worth noting i do almost exlusively use spotify on extreme quality which (they claim) is 320 kbit/s, so i dont need lossless, just something that will allow spotify to sound the best. Aptx seems like a good way to go but i'd rather not spend extra for the dongle and have to use that if theres a better option. Right now im using a pair of bluetooth headphones and a2dp, which is ok but theres still a noticeable difference in quality compared to the 3.5mm cord. (theyre syllable g15's).
So in summary, just need a wireless solution for wireless headphones with quality equal to or better than spotify, preferably with buying/using the least ammount of hardware possible. Thanks to all who read looking forward to answers!

You can use these movie and graphic formats in iDVD:
Most video or image files supported by QuickTime (see the list of unsupported QuickTime formats below).
    High definition video (HDV).
    16:9 widescreen formats.
AAC, MP3, and AIFF audio files.
MPEG-4 and iSight video imported as an iMovie HD movie.
High definition video that you add to your project is converted to work with the format of your project. iDVD supports using 16:9 widescreen video, so that when your DVD plays on a DVD player that supports widescreen format, the footage appears in its original aspect ratio.
The following video and image formats are NOT supported in iDVD:
    Copyrighted or protected videos.
Movies saved in thousands of colors using the "none" compression setting in iMovie.
48-bit color images (16 bits per color). To use source files in one of these formats in iDVD, save them in a supported format.
Aurora uncompressed files. For best results, export Aurora clips as DV-format video before importing them into iDVD.
QuickTime VR, MPEG-1 or MPEG-2, Flash, streaming or encrypted movies, or QuickTime spanned movies. You can't add MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 files to an iDVD project because they don't contain standard video tracks.
QuickTime Fast Start movies. (Fast Start movies are intended for Internet playback.) When saving a QuickTime movie for use with iDVD, click the Options button in the QuickTime Export dialog and make sure that the "Prepare for Internet Streaming" checkbox is not selected.
Note: You can add any file to the DVD-ROM portion of your DVD so viewers can copy the file onto another computer.

  • Wireless Headphones For Ipod touch 4g

    Hi,
I was wondering if you need an ipod adaptor to use wireless bluetooth headphones.
I have the new ipod touch 4g and i want to buy wireless headphones.
i was wondering, do i have to buy an adaptor .....since the ipod has bluetooth itself?
Also, what are the various things you can do with the bluetooth of an ipod touch 4g?
    Thanks for the help

Ipod touch supports bluetooth stereo headphones/speakers (A2DP) and some peer-to-peer apps.

You do not need an adapter for stereo headsets ( A2DP).

  • Toshiba TV/DVD combo 32SLV411U - listening through wireless headphones?

I hope I am posting this in the right place. I couldn't find a specific board just for tvs?
I have recently purchased a Toshiba TV/DVD combo 32SLV411U. I really like it but have an issue.
The best way to go about this I guess is to tell you what I hope to be able to do.
First, I will say I did call Toshiba tech support and they said it couldn't be done and advised I buy a sound bar.
I am not 100% convinced they fully understood or that a sound bar would solve the problem.
The tv model I have does not seem to have a separate headphone jack. I does obviously have the rear hookups for the rca type cables.
While watching a DVD (unhooked from cable box, in DVD mode) I want to be able to have the tv totally silent.
I live in an apartment complex and don't wish to disturb neighbors. I want the audio from the DVD to come through to the wireless headphones only. This does work when the TV is hooked up to the cable as the sound comes through the cable box.
It seems to me I should just be able to attach the rca audio cables to the back of the TV and listen as I have described above. But I can't get it to work no matter what configuration I have tried. I don't know if I just need to set things up differently or what. When I go to menu and look at the options, it doesn't seem to give me many choices in that area, unless I am looking in the wrong place.
Can this be done without me buying anything extra? If so, how do I set it up to do this correctly when watching a DVD?
If I do need to buy something else, how does a sound bar work and would it solve the problem?
Or should I look for a stand alone DVD player with audio hookups in back (that kinda defeats the purpose of
having a TV/DVD combo but might be a less expensive option.
I guess I should've taken a second look at the features before purchasing the TV combo. I just assumed that with the audio hookups in back it would work. I had no problems with the previous TV/DVD combo I owned, but it did have a headphone port. In the meantime, I am watching DVD's on my PC.
Any information or advice is truly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    > I hope I am posting this in the right place. I couldn't find a specific board just for tvs?
You could not find a right board because this is a Toshiba computer systems user to user forum.
However maybe I could help you:
    > While watching a DVD (unhooked from cable box, in DVD mode) I want to be able to have the tv totally silent.
I live in an apartment complex and don't wish to disturb neighbors. I want the audio from the DVD to come through to the wireless headphones only. This does work when the TV is hooked up to the cable as the sound comes through the cable box.
In my case I connected my HiFi directly to the DVD player using RCA cables (red/white chinch).
Furthermore the DVD player is connected to the TV via HDMI.
I can disable the sound on TV and can listen to the sound coming from the HiFi speakers.
If you want to use headphones, then connect this to the HiFi and this should help you :)

  • How to hook up a Sony RF Wireless Headphone

I want to hook up my Sony RF Wireless Headphones to my television system.  All inputs to the TV -  including Direct TV and various DVD players - are HDMI through a Yamaha Tuner.  The HDMI inputs are digital and there is no analog audio output availabe on the tuner or TV to interface with the headphones.  Do you have any suggestions on how I can hook up the RF wireless headphonees to my system?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.
The Sony Wireless RF headphones should have a base where the headphones attach and charge. The same base should have RCA inputs(RED/WHITE) where the RCA from the TV AUDIO OUT should be placed. The TV must have AUDIO OUT for the headphones to operate correctly. If you need further assistance please contact Sony Support  for any further assistance.

  • Sony Wireless Headphones Model MDR-RF925RK Not charging

I have a pair of sony wireless headphones as listed above, but they will not charge for me. The red charging light comes of, but stays on too long. When it does go off, the green light does not come on.
They had stopped working so I figured the battery was gone. I bought a new battery (proper model number and all) but I cannot get the green power light on (just the red charging light). I am 99% that everything is hooked up properly to the television. any suggestions?

You should contact your local Xperia Care regarding this issue.

  • No Wireless Volume Support - Win7 x64 - X-Fi Notebook

Today, I installed my Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook onto my Sony VAIO VPC-F2FX/B running Win7 Home Premium x64, and connected to my Gigaworks T20W wireless 2.0 speakers.
I have no ability to volume control while running wireless but through iTunes or by directly adjusting from the speakers themselves (which kind of negates the benefit of being wireless, right?). I cannot adjust the volume using dedicated media keys, my speaker icon in the system tray, PowerDVD, or Creative Console Launcher. All of these programs show volume is ajusting when the dedicated volume keys are pressed, but the output does is unaffected.
I'm only able to adjust volume normally while the speakers are connected by cable to the audio out jack on the X-Fi Notebook card. Again, this completely defeats the purpose of $00 wireless speakers and $90 wireless sound card.
When will Creative provide proper product support for a Win7, a well established operating system that's been out for more than a year?
Why am I wireless if I cannot use it the way it was intended?
Looking forward to a solution or better drivers to launch very soon.

It's remarkable that even after releasing a Win7 driver this month that Creative Labs is STILL incapable of getting this product supported.
Wireless music volume control still does not work through Win7 volume control.
    Useless product.

  • Connect Nokia Purity Pro BH-940 wireless headphone...

I am looking to get the Purity Pro wireless headphones and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to connect these to your TV/stereo/xbox etc using bluetooth so you can watch tv at night etc without disturbing anyone?
I believe i will need a bluetooth transmitter with apt-X, does anybody know of one that works?
Does the Nokia MD-310 bluetooth reciever work as a transmitter in this way as well?

    >Does the Nokia MD-310 bluetooth reciever work as a transmitter in this way as well?
    Nope, it's a receiver.
    >i will need a bluetooth transmitter with apt-X
If you need superior sound quality then look for apt-x, yeah. For still decent audio quality look for any bt-transmitter, bh-940 supports old bt codecs too.
