Gigaworks S750 cables for the X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro Card?

Hey guys,
I got a nice Gigaworks S750 7.1 speaker system and want to use it with my new X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro card. The Fatal1ty pro has analog outputs for a 7.1 sound system, but the Gigaworks doesn't have the same layout. Can anyone help me find the cables I need to get this setup running?

Hi,
There are 4 Line Outs on the X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro card.
Line Out 1 jack - Connects to the Front Left and Front Right inputs
Line Out 2 jack - Connects to the Side Left and Side Right inputs
Line Out 3 jack - Connects to the Front Center and Subwoofer inputs
Line Out 4 jack - Connects to the Rear Left and Rear Right inputs
You might want to refer to the user manual of the sound card and speakers system for more information.
You can still utilize the suppiled 7.1 cable. Just leave out the grey connector (side speakers) and use a single 3.5mm cable to hook up both ends.

  • Beta driver for Titanium Fatal1ty Pro and windows 7 64 bit

I see there are beta drivers on the website for the X-Fi Titanium Fatalty Pro on Windows 7 64 bit.
The drivers are dated June 23, 200.
Are there any known problems with this set of drivers?

Now I can't find those beta drivers on the website anymore.
    Did support take them down?
And do the current drivers dated: july 30, 2009 cause the shutdown bug in win 7 64 bit's

I also need the cable to be of high quality and the cord part of the cable to be made of strong material. Apple does not make one this long. Is there a cable out there that is sturdy like this and is safe to use?

yes, but I'm trying to use my iPad to type notes (using pages) and I have the smart case which I use as a stand. I need a cable long enough to fit through the back of my desk and the charging brick for the iPad won't fit behind the desk. I have to put it on the floor and then the apple cables aren't long enough to reach.

  • Can I buy iMac power cables for the UK?

I am moving to the UK from the US and I have several Apple products. I would like to know if I can buy a replacement cable for each of them (iMac, MacBook Pro, Apple TV, MacBook Air) that will fit into a UK power plug. All are fairly recent purchases (less than 2 years old) and I don't want to replace them. I can fit the World converter plugs on my Ipod and iPhone chargers, but they wont fit on the laptop chargers.
    Thanks!

All you need is an UK IEC power cord for the iMac (see image) and adapters for the Macbooks and the Apple TV.
The power supply in iMacs, Macbooks and Apple TV is an auto switching power supply that will accept voltage between 100 and 240V
Any standard european IEC power cord will do, you do not have to by one from Apple, but the Apple one as a extra round plastic part that will fit snugly in the iMac. (see second image)
Using a adapter is also an option for the iMac, but they tend to fit loosely on the US plug and can be more easily disconnected than a real European cord. If you go with only adapters, make sure you get good ones that will fit tightly on the us plug.

  • I am having trouble with the initial connection. I have isolated the problem to the cable/ connection. My new hdmi cable has a resolution up to 1080p...does the resolution matter?is this the right hdmi cable for the apple tv?

There are only two types of HDMI cables (standard and high speed - listen to all 1.2, 1.3 etc etc nonsense they will try to tell in the store) both types will work with the Apple TV.
The cable may be faulty though, have you got another to try, what exactly is happening.

  • Why is the cable for the shuffle so short

why is the cable for the shuffle so short<should there be 2 cables.I have to havemy ipod dangling from the side of my computer(i have an all in one)

Assuming you have a 4th gen shuffle, it should be fine hanging off the computer, since the shuffle is so light.  You can think of that cable that comes with the 4th gen shuffle as being more of an "adapter."
If you want a long cable, you can buy the replacement part.  It comes with both a short adapter (like the one you have) and a long cable.

I use a USB hub, which I can conveniently locate on my desk.  I connect the shuffle (and my other iPod/iPhone) to the hub.  If you want a hub, make sure you get one that is self-powered (it has it's own power supply).

  • 'The cable for the PCI Ethernet is not plugged in' error

Hi everyone, I've installed a PCI network card for my G5, 1.8 (later model) single processor, and checked to make sure the card has the Realtek chips.
I've tried the D-Link DGE-528T which is meant to be OSX compatible but to no avail. I get the 'The cable for the PCI Ethernet is not plugged in' message. I've then tried the Pluscom with Realtek 8169 chip and again, get the same message.
I have a good understanding of networking, have installed several drivers, sometimes manually and I've used the terminal to recode the permissions. I've also removed the extension cache file but still no luck. I've also made sure to follow each install path from the package file and remove any older drivers. I've also installed the card in slot 1.
I don't think it is the card. Does anyone have any other ideas I could try?

Where did you get the drivers?
I've heard of people using D-Link routers, and even D-Link's USB/Wireless adapter, but I've never encountered anyone using a D-Link PCI ethernet card. A quick search didn't find any drivers and without that you're not going to get very far. I'm mildly impressed that the OS recognizes the card at all.

  • Do the cables for the 700p work with the 700wx?

I used to have a treo 700p that I broke when I dropped it from a 2nd story balcony onto concrete. I still have the box and whatever cables came with it. Now, I'm able to buy a 700wx for a real low price, but the seller only has the phone and the charger for it, no other cables. Would the cables for my 700p, like the sync cable work with the 700wx? If they would, this would work out real nice!
Post relates to: Treo 700p (Sprint)

Yes it will work most of the cables for the Treo series will work as it is an interchangeable cable, there is some exceptions, but in your case it will work.

  • Dimensions of the 160-Pin Cable for the NI PXI-2530B

    Hello,
My mechanical design team wants to know the measurements of the 160-Pin Cable for the NI PXI-2530B. It will be a while before we receive the cable we ordered. I could not find a data sheet with the measurement details; are they? Alternatively, is Figure 1 in the Installation Instructions drawn to scale?: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/375656b.pdf
    Thanks!

What dimensions are you looking for?
I'm a little surprised that the length of the cables is not included in the datasheets (I did just look!) - I thought that when I ordered cables for the older-style PXI-2530 modules in my lab that the length was specified in the part description.
If you need the dimensions of the connectors, you can do a little reverse-engineering and identify the dimensions of the various components. The connector to the module is an LFH-160. The Digikey P/N for the body of a connector is WM4099-ND. It may be difficult to find the dimensions of the backshells, however.  The 4 terminal block connectors are standard 50-pin D-Subs. There are many examples out whose dimensions you can review.

  • Are the usb cables for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4s interchangeable?

Can I use my usb cable provided by my ipad 2 to connect my iPhone 4s to my iMac or vice versa. I noticed the usb cable for the iPad 2 is slightly thicker. Doesn't it mean it's better or faster in terms of transmission of data? Thank you.

    Identical cables.

  • Shorter USB cable for the Dinc 2

Looking for a shorter length USB cable than the one that came with the phone.
Does anyone know if they make a short length (less than 3') USB cable for the Dinc 2?
If so where could I get one?
    Thanks again.

You have heard of 'Tethering' witch is only available on the iPhone but not in the US (thank you AT&T). That is only for using the iPhone to connect a computer to the internet. Sorry

  • Do I need to buy any extra cables for the airport express??

I was wondering if i need to buy any extra cables for the airport exprees.what kind of cables do i have to get to connect the airport express to my DSL modem?

Typically all you would need is an Ethernet cable (cat5, rj45 end), and it would be connected to the LAN port on the DSL modem, and the Ethernet jack on the AP Express.

  • For the 2013 versions of macbook pro should I purchase 32 bit windows or 64 bit version to be able to install it on macbook and use windows with bootcamp?

for the 2013 versions of macbook pro should I purchase 32 bit windows or 64 bit version to be able to install it on macbook and use windows with bootcamp?

Then you might check at any of the other university book stores or software stores or any computer store in town for the 64-bit version.
If you want to use the 32-bit version from the school (you probably get it for free or very cheap) then you could purchase Parallels and run it as a virtual machine concurrently with OS X. There are some caveats:
    1. You have to purchase Parallels (there may be an academic discount.) List is $79.95.
    2. Your computer needs minimally 4 GBs of RAM, but realistically 8 GBs would be better.
    3. Parallels creates a pseudo-drive on your hard drive. It could easily require 50 GBs of disk space.
Accommodating these might be more costly than buying 64-bit Windows 7. And, if you look online you may find them with an academic discount (or may be able to order it through the school.)

  • I'm looking for screws for the bottom of my macbook pro unibody.

I need screws for the bottom of my macbook pro unibody. They started falling out after I upgraded my RAM, apparently they had some type of threadlock on them. Apple was of little help and directed me to a an apple store or service center which is not convienent. So far, I've been only able to find the 'old' pack of 5 screws, not the pack of 10 that my mac requires. I did find one seller on ebay advertising them but would like to avoid that path if possible. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreaciated. Thanks

No this is not a common problem.  Have you had the bottom off before?
The factory set screws you see a bit if blue lock tight which makes it more difficult the first time out.
They can replace the screws over the counter at any authorized repair service or Genius bar:
