Give me a 4:th download option, language pack only!

The developers of Firefox and the other products in the Mozilla family on my platform have versions ready at almost the same speed as for Windows, Mac or Linux. They do however only provide an en_us version which is fine as long as I can find a language pack for that version to download. Please do provide a more convenient link for that on the main download site/page! I'd like to download the language pack for menus separately so that I can run Firefox in German, Swedish, Danish or whatever language I want to use.

It is up to the localization team ''(a group of volunteers)'' for each version as to whether they want the localized full version or also have a separate language pack. The first 4 language packs do have a full localized version on the International Versions page, didn't check beyond that.
The XPI will automatically install from the download page for each langyage pack. Or you can right-click the '''Add to Firefox''' button on the language pack download page to save the XPI file to disk. The either drag that file into the browser window or use File > Open File to install it.
As far as "placing" those XPI's, try the Firefox program files \extensions\ folder. Each Profile should pick-up the language pack the first time the Profile is used, after dropping the XPI file in the \extensions\ folder - AFAIK.
Sorry, I don't think this information is going to help you with those 3 languages specifically with there being no language packs listed for them. You might want to check a Firefox / Mozilla support forum in those countries to see what they have to say.

I installed Windows 10 Technical Preview with original language settings for the US region.
No that I need my Windows localized to Espanol - Spanish.
I type "language' in Cortana, select Add language to this device and click Add a language on the Region & language.
Then I select added language and click Set as primary.
After the restart I see that while Windows Explorer is displayed in Spanish, Start menu is displayed in English (including app sections such as Explore Windows), as well as Modern apps that have retained their English names (such as Mail).
I even set the location to Spain in regional settings (although I didn't like the idea, as I want to browse the US market). To no avail.
How do I change the language of the Start menu and modern apps?

Okay, I ran the in-place upgrade and it worked!
What I did:
1. Downloaded and attached Espanol edition of Windows Setup ISO.
2. Started setup.exe from that ISO.
TIP: If need be, you can downgrade your installation of Windows 10 Enterprise Technical Preview to Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview by changing two registry values, EditionID and ProductName. You may use the following registry file on Windows 10 Enterprise
Technical Preview:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]
"EditionID"="Professional"
"ProductName"="Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview"
Import these settings into registry and start setup wizard from the Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview setup CD. Voila! Windows will offer upgrade of your current setup of Windows 10 Enterprise Technical Preview to Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview with
saving all your settings and applications!
The only thing that wasn't localized are the new app sections. I still see Explore Windows and Everyday apps. Probably, these UI strings haven't yet been translated.

How can I burning the downloaded language pack ?

I have downloaded the language pack CD of the solaries 8 OS because I need it as I am in Hong Kong but when I have finished the download I do not know how to burn the CD into the CD-R, so can you help me and sent me the solution for burning the language pack CD.

Hi,
First you must unzip the language pack that you downloaded using winzip or something similar. Now you have an image file that is suitable for burning to CD. Now you can, create a CD from these images using your favorite CD creation software. Depending on the software package you use, you may have to rename the file first
to give it an extension the software recognizes as a CD image. For example, if you use Easy CD Creator, add the extension .iso to the file name. Next, from the File Menu in the program, select Create CD from CD image. Then, select that image file. If you use Nero burning rom, also use a .iso extension.

How to download language pack for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1

Hi,
I want to download Portuguese language pack for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.
However on Oracle E-Delivery, I could not find any language pack for downloading (as it was available for OEBS 11i)
Is there any change in installing language pack on Oracle E-Business Suite 12/12.1 as compared to 11i.
Should i download complete Oracle E-Buisiness Suite installer by selecting the Portuguese language on first page of Oracle E-Delivery?
Please guide.

SNOTE download option

Hi ,
Tried downloading a set of oss note via download option in SNOTE. only few are downloaded.Slected the specific note and downloaded again.During downloading it says note'xxxx' is downloading.
But at the end that note is not appearing in the list/tree.How to see it's actually downloaded or not. Is there any dependency between the notes ,that if i down load one i cannot / need not download the other.

Problem installing language pack manually under Linux

I had downloaded Asian language pack to be install under Ubuntu Linux. When ran the installer script using sudo I been prompted to enter the path where Adobe Reader was installed.
The problem seems to accept path name that have the word "acroread" only as the default option was under /opt path. My installation was under /usr/lib32/Acrobat/Reader8/bin and the installer script does not recognize that.

If you used the standard installation for reader, the path should have been /usr/lib32/Adobe/Reader8/bin and not /usr/lib32/Acrobat/Reader8/bin. Could you confirm how you performed the installation?
The solution is to uninstall and re-install the reader using the standard location. We highly recommend that you install under /opt if it's a system-wide installation. Installing under /usr/lib32 seems strange given that the reader consists of more than just libraries.
If that's not possible, you can fix it by tweaking the INSTALL script that is part of the language pack installer. Change line 198:
from:
198 if [ ! -d "$dir/Adobe/Reader8/Reader" -o ! -d "$dir/Adobe/Reader8/Resource" ]
to:
198 if [ ! -d "$dir/Acrobat/Reader8/Reader" -o ! -d "$dir/Acrobat/Reader8/Resource" ]
and specify /usr/lib32 as the path of installation when prompted.

Unfortunately, SAP does not offer Hindi as a language for its products and solutions. SAP supports it do not offer a translation for it (Note 920085).

There are already many threads related to your Query .In order to Install Chinese Language pack you had to Download and Install An All Language OS pack on your device which will allow you Chinese language.If you want it you can try It this way :
First remove any OS pack from your PC or laptop then
1. Download the All Language OS pack from here and Install it in your PC or Laptop Carriers
(make sure you are downloading for the same model as you have )
2. Download and install the latest BlackBerry desktop software from here BlackBerry desktop software
Then using desktop software perform your full backup of your device.
3.Search your C: drive for Vendor.xml and delete them, there may be one or two vendor.xml ( On your Pc change your folders option to show hidden files/folders ) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
5. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For 64-bit Vista or Windows 7, the path will be C: > Program Files x86 > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double click Loader.exe.

Mass deployment of French Language Pack to 100+ SurfaceRT 8.1 devices

Hi,
Has anyone been able to download the French Language pack separately (or any language pack for that matter) - store it on a USB stick and do a mass install to a number of SurfaceRT devices?
I see you have the option to download the language pack for some languages but not French or the major languages out there -

Wondering if there is also a way to install on SurfaceRT - use that as a golden image and deploy to another 100 other SurfaceRT devices - I see it does have sysprep there. Anyone tried?

Hi Daniel,
There is a solution to retrieve the language pack, although I'm not sure it is a method that can find approval of Microsoft.
With an network analysis tool like Wireshark, or Fiddler, performing the step that is described in the post, by Kelvin. You can retrieve the actual URL of the CAB file that will be downloaded. This way you can copy and paste the URL in your internet browser
and download the actual CAB file.
The CAB file can then be injected in the operating system with DISM, with the following command:
DISM /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:"<path to package>\filename.cab"
This can be automated, and distributed to your clients in any way you wish.
Also, it can be embedded when creating your image you use for deployment.

You can download Windows language pack as Windows 7 for Windows 8, 8.1. In addition, you also can download the language pack as you like in Control Panel in Windows 8.x.

ok... well as you may know, there is a few of users, that i know, that changed the laguages of the photoshop, located on locales on the folder of photoshop cs5, C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Locales here is another folder named pt_BR (Menaing Portuguese_Brazil) and they simply downloaded the translation. In my case i want to change for en_GB i just wanna know, if there is only on PS CS5 That i can't change this folder.
I wanna know, if somebody using Photoshop cs5 could Upload the folder for me.

Nope, there is no such thing. You can only switch languages by upgrading to CS5.5 and that even can only be done by calling support via phone and filling out a bunch of papers.
