Give Support Guys permission to perform remote wipe or remove device from the mailbox

Hi Guys,
Can anyone please advise what group should I put the admin user so that they remote wipe or remove the mobile device from the user mailbox.
I thought once user is in Exchange Recipient Administrators group should perform this task but I may be wrong.
Can anyone help please its a bit urgent.

YOu can only do that if you had find my iphone setup and activated prior to having your phone stolen.
Then you log into icloud.com to remote wipe, but your phone has to be connect to wifi or cellular data to do that.

Unable to wipe ZFS partition table from the disk

I used an SD card as part of a zfs zpool made of three SD cards, without partition table. ZFS was managing the entire devices, not just partitions.
I subsequently retired this zpool but did not run “zpool destroy”. This worked for two of the cards, but it seems as if one of the SD cards just can’t shake the zfs_member marker, no matter what I do.
So far I tried multiple times, on several different machines (including two without ZOL installed, so zfs cache file is not an issue here):
1. dd the entire device with zeros. Four times.
2. zpool labelclear -f /dev/sdc
3. create new msdos partition table in gparted and fdisk
4.
$ mkfs.btrfs -f /dev/sdc
$ mount /dev/sdc /mnt/usb
mount: unknown filesystem type 'zfs_member'
Unable to wipe ZFS partition table from the disk
5. Windows format and Partition Minitools windows equivalent of gparted.
As you can see, none of those methods wrote over the zfs data. It remains intact and invulnerable to anything I tried.
I am out of ideas. It looks like google is out of ideas, too.

Yeah, somehow while writing the first post I missed that wipefs also does absolutely nothing.

How do you "Add a Device" from the iOS remote app multiple times?

Anyone know a way to trigger the "Add a device" feature in the iOS remote app after you've already added one?
I have multiple Apple TVs scattered around the house and multiple people who would like to use them. I have home sharing set up through my Apple ID so this works great for me. For everyone else, I'd rather not sign my account in on their devices, even if its just for home sharing. They can "Add a device" in the remote app to connect to one of the Apple TVs, but only one.
I'm using iOS 8, iPhone 5s and 6, Apple TVs 2nd and 3rd Gen

I would rather not sign my account into other people's devices.

I can't access my university VPN with my iPad or iPhone but I can access it with my Mac. I was wondering if there is a simple way so that I can remotely access my home computer from the iPad, turn on the Mac VPN and then access the school network?

The iosx and open VPN app on the iPad/phone aren't compatible w my school's VPN, but my Mac is via tunnelblick. I would really like to have VPN access from my tablet so I can access journals without undergoing a tedious process.
Has anyone encountered this and found a remedy? I'm imagining an app from the tablet that can access the Mac at home to turn on the VPN to the school and then have access.. But then I'm thinking id be reading through 2 screens then formatting/resolution could be a problem.
Another thought was setting up a VPN at home so that my iPad can connect to my computer at home via VPN which would then allow me easy access to journals. But I'm lacking experience in this, especially a security issue as I'm going from point A to point C to get back to point B.

You should be able to use the OpenVPN Connect app running on your iPad to connect your iPad to the VPN directly. It is an official OpenVPN client for iOS devices.
In what way is it "not compatible"? Have you tried it? Tunnelblick is an OpenVPN client, so your school's VPN is using the OpenVPN protocol. That means any OpenVPN client should be able to access it. (It is possible, but unlikely, that your school uses encryption that is not available on the iPad, but that would be very unusual.)
Otherwise, a remote control app on your iPad would let you control your Mac at home. "Back to My Mac", for example, would allow you to control your Mac remotely. The tricky part of this is that usually a VPN is set up to send all Internet traffic via the VPN server, and I'm not sure how that would work with "Back to My Mac".

Remotely add and remove Instances from different pages

Similar to my other post, I have a form that has multiple pages, one being a calculator (OA_CALC) that shows every variable for calculation; the second (OA_PG1), customer facing showing only pertinent information. So both tables should add/remove and show the data being contolled from OA_CALC. I am able to addInstance and source the date to both pages, but for some reason removeInstance only works on the page where the button exists. So rows on OA_PG1 never delete, please advise.
On OA_CALC i have an ADD ROW button with the following code:

HT4101 I discovered a fatal flaw in the iPad procedure for downloading images from camera to iPad: after selecting the images to be downloaded, an accidental touch of the "delete" button, wipes all selected images from the camera, with no warning?

After downloading some 60 images from camera to iPad, I was "scrolling" down to select the last images, and inadvertently touched the "Delete" button that appears at the top right of the screen, when the "Select" option is chosen. I did not notice the warning "Delete 60 Images?", and continued scrolling down, when my finger touched the warning message. All my precious images were instantly deleted from the camera The sensitive touch screen feature makes this a real problem. Apple should "fix" this unacceptable feature, surely! I suggest that the images on the camera memory card should not be able to be deleted from the iPad, and this shpuld require to be done using the camera controls only. Similarly, the "Delete" or "Keep" options that appear after importing a selection from the camera, should NOT allow the images on rthe camera to be deleted, but only the imported (downloaded) images on the iPad. This unnecessary option could easily delete precious images from the camera!
Apple should remove the option to delete images from the camera, and the iPad touch screen commands should olny delete images on the iPad. (Alternatively, the "delete option should be on a separatly accessed "page".)

No, I don't agree. Whenever you connect a camera to a computer you are given the opportunity to delete the photos on the camera after downloading in precisely the same way the iPad does this. The fact that you touched Delete and then ignored the Warning doesn't change anything.
I've loaded thousands of photos on my IPad and never have had that problem.

What is wiped from Pre on ActiveSync Remote Wipe?

I have a Pre that I have recently started using to sync my Exchange mail and calendar events. IF the Exchange admin at work did a remote wipe of my device, what is wiped? The documentation I found says "ALL" data. Does it mean all data related to the Exchange account or does it also wipe data associated with my Google accounts? If so, does that also wipe the data from the Google servers? I definitely don't want the Pre's Synergy system to bite me in the rear if my admin ever decides he doesn't want to support all the Palm Pre's that people have been buying lately.

It wipes all data from the phone. But all your synced data with google, and the palm profile would be not harmed. I think its just like running a full erase on the phone. You still have your backed up Palm Profile that once you log into has your google account info.

My 11gR2 Grid installation is stalled at 65% too, on "Performing remote operations".
I tried stopping the firewall on all of the remote (and the local) nodes, using the recommendation from above:

but that didn't work for me. Although, my situation is a little different in that I'm not seeing the same "last line output" in installActions<Date>.log, I'm seeing:

In our case, as opposed to the post directly above, it doesn't seem like the other RAC nodes (e.g. dosfrdb02) have connected back to the first RAC node (dosfrdb01) using ssh or ractrans. There's a clue I suppose. However, I do see ssh connections:

to the domain controller, dosdc01, where DHCP and DNS are running. Maybe the first RAC node is attempting to do a DNS lookup and the resolution for the VIPs in the grid's sub-domain isn't working. The VIP assignments should be delegated by DNS, to GNS, as I understand it, but I don't know if that's relevant during installation. I"ll have the SA check the DNS log file and configuration to see if he notices anything. I thought the network configuration was fine because the test that the installer performed to ensure that passwordless ssh ("user equivalence") works between RAC nodes executed successfully. I can also scp a file from one RAC node to another (as user 'grid') without providing a password.
We'll double check that the time is sync'ed up on all of the VMs too, but it ought to be.
The SA and I (the DBA) have carefully followed the instructions but obviously something isn't right. I didn't receive any unresolved errors during the installation, and now it's just stopped at 65%. Any ideas? Is there a script that I can run manually that would attempt to copy the files?
