Giving old ipad and apps

Now using a MacAir for many functions for which I used iPad(1).
Want to give the iPad and apps collection to a young tech-2-b.
Is there a way to separate and transfer the iPad apps while retaining my MacAir + Mac-mini, etc?
Thanks for your consideration.

The apps are tied to your apple ID, so you really can't transfer them unless you want the new owner to have access to your Apple ID. You can wipe your iPad and restore it to an 'out of box' state and then it's best to let hte new owner put his/her own apps on there under their own apple ID
