GL account Document Currency

Hi specialist
I have an issue that is not resolve yet.
User create one Gl account using the transaction FS00. THey included in the currency EUR. After that they generate some postings with the currency CHF.
IT was in January 2012.
After that they change the currency of the GL account from EUR to CHF in the transaction FS00.  But they dont generate any extra posting in the GL account.
THe situation is when I am going to the transaction FAGLB03 I have the Icon change display currency where I can find:
- Document currency
- COmpany code currency
- Group currency
My problem is that all currency type description is in EUR. I CANT see the document currency like CHF just like EUR.
why is it possible?
Someone can help me to solve it?
THanks

In FAGLB03 show only currency of EUR since the GL master is ticked with "only balances in local currency".

  • Accounting document currency code for transfer between company code

    Hi;
We have one business process here. 2 plant with 2 different company code.
    Plant P1 -> Company code C1
    Plant P2 -> Company code C2
Now we make material movement between P1 and P2 via MIGO_GR , movement type 301. Accounting document will be generated when MM document posting.
From SAP standard, the accounting document currency will pick up from company code currency code.
    For example
    C1 -> currency USD
    C2 -> currency EUR
But now we would like to generate the accouting document with different currency code, for example accounting document under C1 will be EUR? is that possible except to change the company code currency. Because company code currency change will be a big impact.
    Thanks in advance

  • SAP table for customer account balances by document currency

    Hi experts,
We have a requirement to produce a monthly customer statement by customer currency or customer's document currency. Example is that the company code local currency is USD and the customer currency is EUR. The customer will be allowed to carry over a balance to next period under a certain threshold so there will be a carry over beginning balance from the previous period which needs to appear on the statement. Transaction FD10N only displays customers balances in the local or company code currency which is USD in this example.
Question: Does anyone know if there is an SAP table that stores period beginning balances by customer account currency or customer's document currency?
We have not been able to find one and want to get additional input prior to building our own custom table.
Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Hi:
Make use of BAPI_AR_ACC_GETKEYDATEBALANCE to calculate customer opening balance. You need to develop Z report using table BSID and BSAD other SD related tables . There is not SAP standard report that shows the customer opening balance as carried forward from previous month.. You can make alteration for for showing balances in document currency.

    Hello chakrapani bandaru,
Please set all the G/L accounts involved in the transactions to Multicurrency accounts (e.g. BP, revenue tax accounts etc.)
It means BP account, revenue and tax account
as well, even if there is 0% tax.
Please check Administration/System Initialisation/Company Details/ Basic Initialisation/Default Account Currency and make sure it is set toMulti Currency.
The exchange rate difference account should also be set to multi currency.
    hope it helps.

  • Accounting document created after foreign currency valuation

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    Please help on below queries:
    1. Is it correct that Accounting document is automatically created when foreign currency valuation (F.05) was run and  'Reverse Posting' was ticked? Does it mean that two document will be created; one is for Revaluation Journal and the other one is for Accounting Document?
    2. In relation on above question, is it correct that Accounting document and Revaluation Journal have the same posting date and amount?
    3. When Accounting document and Revaluation Journal have the same posting date and amount does it mean that the account has not been revaluated?
    Appreciate your advise. Thank you.

There will be two accounting documents generated, one for posting the revalution and the other for the reversal (if reversal is activated). The reversal dates can be given manually else system takes the 1st of the N+1 Period. The revaluation posting date will be taken from the date given in 'valuation date'.

  • Copying PO STO currency to Accounting Document

    Hi,
Do you have any idea how I can copy the PO STO Currency to Accounting Document in VF01?
I managed to copy the PO STO currency to the billing document by using USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK.
Now I need to make sure that the accounting document will be using the same currency as the Billing Document.
    Please Advise.
    regards,
    NC

    Hi
See Note 301077 - User exits for the interface to accounting.
I am not sure if the currency is OK in invoice. Check how is copied the field WAERK to delivery (NLCC, am I right?). So, I think that you have to check the copy rules and think if you need create customer VOFM for your requirement. First of all, check the value of currency in table LIKP.
    So, check:
    - VTLA: how is copied currency from PO to delivery.
    - VTFL: how is copied currency from delivery to IV invoice
Check other fields in VTFL for the relevant items as pricing exchange rate type and pricing source.
    I hope this helps you

  • Difference in currency rate between customer order and accounting document

    Dear gurus,
While I am cretaing customer order SAP calculates currency from Exchange Rate="B" at OB08 screen. This situation results because of Currency type in customer master data. But in the accounting document SAP calculates currency from Exchange Rate="M" at OB08 screen. As a result; this is causes problems.
I want SAP to calculate currency which is entered in customer master data. It might be M,B etc.. According to the CUSTOMER.
How can I fix this issue?
    Thnks regards,

    Hi,
In the copy routine from Sales Order to Billing, copy the exhcange rate from sales order.
And then the billing will get the same exchange rate as in sales order and thus will also pass the same to the accounting.

  • Difference in currency  between customer order and accounting document

    Dear gurus,
While I am cretaing customer order SAP calculates currency from Exchange Rate="B" at OB08 screen.

    Hi,
    This is a complicated scenario.
There are 3 currencies involved in any transaction
    Document currency (from customer master)
Condition type currency (from condition record)
Local currency (Currency of company code )
During account posting in FI, the document currency will be converted into local currency and posting in local currency will be made. Also there is a posting in document currency also. For the conversion between document currency and local currency, by default M is used. For other exchange rate types, it should be enabled by means of user exits in sales order or invoice. The exchange rate which is available in invoice for this conversion (doc currency to local currency) is copied to acctg documnent. It is not freshly calculated in accounting document.
Conversion from customer currency to document currency happens either through M or through the customer master exrate type.
Now you decide how you want to handle the scenario. Customer currency to document currency can be done as  per the customer master you maintain. But if you want to convert document currency to local currency (provided customer currency and doc currency are same), then only M will be used in standard.
If you are in a scenario where all the 3 currencies are different, then the way by which the system calculates the exchange rate is through an indirect triangulation process, which is little complex. In this case, it will use only one exchange rate type. Hence this scenario in your case will have problem. If you test all these scenarios, you will come to know.
We faced this problem an year ago and then finally realised that it is not possible to use two xng rate type in one SD cycle. This is because the exchange rate type is stored in VBAK, VBRK and so on and hence it is not possible to use two xnge rates or the rate maintained in customer master throughout the cycle. The sales transaction is controlled by Cust master and FI transactions are controlled by M

  • Wrong "Amount in Local Currency" value shown in accounting document

    Hi,
I have a customer payment accounting document, in which for some line items the "Amount in local currency" values are wrongly converted.
What could be the reason for these wrong values.
    Thanks,
    Chaitanya

    Hi Chaitanya,
May I know what t-code you used to post this doc 14-9099?
I presume 10004719 is your customer and you are offsetting AR invoice 198.09 with credit memo 213.09
I try to simulate this offsetting in my sandbox with F-32 and I got
    DR Bank Charges
    CR Customer
    CR Forex
I didn't get 2 lines of customer as seen in your screenshot
    Thanks and Regards,
