GL Drill to AP and AR in BI Apps
Hi All
The client I am working for ,needs a drill from their GL report to subledgers (AP & AR).I have just checked this link

we have few customizations that we have added in Financials Module and now we have separate catalog folders for
them.My doubt is
1) Are the drills supported for EBS R12 source too...(bcoz in the above link which was for 795 BIApps it was given as if ur source is 11i...)
2)If supported ,can we include these drills even for the custom reports generated from the custom catalog folders.Kindly Suggest me on this.......

Thanks for the reply.........the version I am using is BI Apps 7.9.5.1 and my source is R12.Can you be a bit more precise on how I can drill in my custom catalogs.........is it that I just need to drag document details etc...as sited in the following site

I am currently doing my development in Developer2000 rel. 2.0.
I have seen many tools for VB which provide the facility for Drill Down reporting and drag & drop option in reporting, but unable to find any tool for developer2000. I wonder if anyone can guide me about any tool for developer2000 which can provide these facilities in reporting and forms.......

you have mouse-move and mouse-enter etc...
what do you mean by drill down?
you can do drill down reporting in reports by using srw.run_report built in and you can also use oracle discoverer. -
Alert Drill Down - Draft and Added Documents
Hi,
I want to be able to send and alert that allows drill down when the alert includes draft and multiple types of added documents (ie Sales Order, AR Invoice, Purchase Order, AP Invoice etc.)
Currently my alert query has UNIONs for the draft table and ADDED type documents. For the Added documents I select a dummy draft number. Of course this is very confusing to the user, who need to recognise that this is an ADDED document and not to drill but copy and retreive the document.

This is impossible. Simply because, once you are using Union, drill down will no longer work.

Difference between Drill down Report and Interactive Report
What is the difference between Drill down Report and Interactive Report?
Hi,
Drill down report and Interactive report seems to be acts as same. But there is a minor difference between those two.
Drill Down Report - When you click on a particular field in a report it drills down to the next report, it won't trigger another screen.
Interactive Report - When you click on a particular field in a report it will trigger another report based on the field clicked. It opens another session internally in the same screen.

To place drill-out images and Handling Drill-Out Events in a crosstab ?
in the bibeans help, it is possible to manage drill out in a thin Crosstab.

thanksI checked with development and strangely the Java client Crosstab doesn't support putting URLs in the cells. So we have a disconnect between thick and thin crosstabs, something that will have to be resolved in a future release. However, it does support showing drill out icons and firing events when the user clicks on them. The application is responsible for handling the drill out event, which could involve launching a browser and going to some URL.
Looking at your code below, nothing obviously wrong comes to mind. An initial debugging step might be to uncomment the line // dataViewStyle.setBackground(Color.BLUE); to see if the rule applies formatting other than the drill out icon. There may be a problem with the QDR or the rule. If the blue background applies, then there may be a problem with the image path specified. Maybe the Crosstab can't load the given image. Are there any error messages logged to the ErrorHandler?

Iv downloaded the 0845 wizard from the App Store. Registered my details and it has been working. But for some reason it won't let me log in and keep saying failed every time I try to use it. Iv deleted and re-downloaded the app and it still says the same?
I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well. -
Hi. My itunes library is in current 10.5.2 but my old ipod touch 4th or 3rd gen is not updating at all its still in current 4.2 and there is some apps i cant download that requires a 4.3 update but in my itunes it wont. Please help!
Are you sure you have a 4g/3g iPod? If you don't have a camera, it's definitely not 4G. If it has no camera and is 8 or 16 Gb it is a 2G and can't go beyond 4.2.1.

Updated to an iphone 4s from iphone 4. Did backup and sync but some apps have not been copied to the 4s although they do show up on the iphone4. How can I get my missing apps?

I have created a PDF and password protected it for view. However, when reading the PDF in Adobe Reader app on the iPad the commenting and annotation options are not available. Is there a way to allow commenting and annotation in the app while password protecting the document?
Is there a setting that needs to be set to allow the annotation features? I set password protection to open and then password for editing and set it to Any except page extraction, but it still did not give the annotation option

I have deleted hundreds of pictures, I've deleted apps, deleted emails and texts, and I've turned off and deleted backups of apps on icloud and it is still telling me that there is not enough icloud storage available for my phone to be backed up. I am supposed to do this before I go to the Apple store today to get my phone fixed. Can someone please help me? I have done almost everything.

On your iPad tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. Or on your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should also be a payment link.

I am signed into the App Store on my iphone 4 and one of my apps need updating and my brother is signed into it because I didn't have any credit to make an ID so he signed in so I could download apps but its like its locked to his Apple ID I have tried signing out and turning my phone off its just not working please help.
Apps are locked to the Apple ID that was used to download them. You will have to sign in as your brother in order to update it.

I have AppleTV and Ipad2 running VJay app to my TV over a private cisco router disabled firewall but I keep loosing the video on my TV after a few minutes what can I do?
I also get this problem on my iPad, so probably not related to the AppleTV. On the iPad I restarted Airport Extreme this time, and then the iPad saw my Home Sharing.
So to recap, restarting the router or Airport Express allowed the iPad and AppleTV to see Home Sharing. Restarting AppleTV also allows AppleTV to see Home Sharing.
So does anyone have any idea?
