GL Posting ALE IDOC - To be send as File

Hello,
It is possible to send GL Posting from SAP HR system to another system as a file.
Option is that I am looking through Standard ALE whether we can create a GL Posting document file which will be transferred thru FTP file to client system.
Question ALE IDoc provide that option to create a file based GL Posting file.?

In simple terms, ALE uses IDoc for carry data from one SAP system to another. If you just need a file (not in IDOC format), I would suggest you to check if there are standard reports that give you that data and download them.
If not, you could write your custom program to generate and download the required data and download (on PC or app server).

SM59 - Use TCP/IP Connection with connection type 'T'
WE20 - Partner Name can be logical system name, if it is a vendor/customer you can configure it under the respective names.

Post multiple IDOCs from a single inbound file

Hi.
I have an inbound file with a single record structure. Each record has a field "DocumentNumber". There may be multiple records with the same DocumentNumber. The Document Number will increment to 2, 3 etc. Each set of records with the same DocumentNumber relates to a single IDOC that I want to post.
IE
1, various fields   <- IDOC 1
1, various fields   <- IDOC 1
2, various fields   <- IDOC 2
2, various fields   <- IDOC 2
3, etc
I plan to use the BPM to split (transform) the file message into multiple IDOCs, using a message mapping defined in the Designer. I have done all this, and defined my Source Message as Single Occurrence (1) and my Target Message as 1:Unbounded. I therefore have a mapping within the target "Message1" structure.
Can anybody tell me how to define my mapping flow to create a new target structure IDOC when the DocumentNumber field increments?   I was wondering about "createif" where DocumentNumber <> a global field set tot he previous value....
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Mapping - you need to use node funktions if you use graphical mapping (f.e. SplitByValue, CerateIf and so on)

Help: one request using ALE&IDOC to Posting Goods Issue about MaterialScrap

i got a situation. My client is using ALE&IDOC to deal with the Material Scrapping. The business scenario is:
1. One third system (Non-SAP) Send IDOC to SAP Production Server through the Intermedia SEEBEYOND.
    Message Type: MBGMCR
    IDOC Type: MBGMCR02
    BUSINESS OBJECT: BUS2017
2. SAP Production Server use "Message Type: MBGMCR" to find out the BAPI in Distribution Model and trigger the BAPI.
the Distribution Model:
Model View
SEEBEYONG
PRODUCTION
GoodsMovement.CreateFromData
Reciever determination: no filter
Now my client's request is:
When the Movement Type is 551 in the IDOC Segment "E1BP2017_GM_ITEM_CREATE", This IDOC will be ignore and not trigger the BAPI to post goods issue.
i try to add the destination filter in the Distribution Model. but when i add the filter group, there are only two filter parameter ("Plant" and "Storage Location") and don't allow to add others.
i have no idea now. can anyone give me a favor. thank you very much in advance.

We got hold of the Idoc type 'DELVRY03 PGI SHPCON' we are able to post the Idoc but we are able to do the packing only or we are able to change the deliveries but the PGI is not happening..
please help us on this.. is there some condig that updates the delivery with the PGi or is there something else do be done in the Idoc....
will provide additional details if required.

Error in ALE-IDOC related to HR data posting in ECC 6.0

Hello People,
Upgradation done from 4.6B to ECC 6.0.
Here the data comes from the 3rd part s/w and then gets posted through a Z program which in tern calls SAP standard program " RSEINB00" and FM "IDOC_INBOUND_FROM_FILE" is used in this std program to post the data to the corresponding HR tables through IDOC postings.
ALE-IDOC Z program works fine in 4.6B but gives error in ECC 6.0.
Error in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype Message no. 5-109 Diagnosis An error has occurred in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype .
Procedure
Check the entry for infotype in table T777D (structure, IDoc segment, expanded structure) and the corresponding structures.
As per the error message it seems that some table () needs to be maintained with some values, but this was working fine with the 4.6 B with current settings.
Is this error due to version change to ECC 6.0? What extra settings need to be done with respect to IDOC so that the posting program works fine without giving the stated error. Kindly let me know.

Please keep in mind ECC 6.0 is an UniCode based system.
as 4.6C was not,
did the Z-program have been tested before in the current environment?
Some special functions (keywords hints ...) are no longer supported after the upgrade.,
this was shown during the upgrade in the unicode migration tools
For sure all the own programms needs to be verfied, after an upgrade.
commonly this should be done
in the quality assurance test to avoid touble in production.

For sending IDOC for Purchase order you will use idoc
Message type : ORDERS
Basic Type : ORDERS05
Create one RFC Destination in SM59 and give that entry in Port in WE21.
Create Partner profile in WE20 and Port for receiver system in WE21.
Use your port in Partner profile in WE20.
In Partner Profile create one entry for Message type ORDERS as Outbound.
In your tcode when you are creating Purchase order set output message in your header condition for Outbound to send that purchase order to that Partner Profile.

2.     SCC4     Assign logical system to client
3.     SM 59    Create RFC Destination.
4.     WE 21    Create port.
Partner setting.
5.     WE 20    Create Outbound partner profile.
       (Creating outbound partner profile message type with MATMAS and IDOC type with MATMAS01-05 )
6.     BD 64     Create Distribution model. (It will act as a BAG to carry the list of receiver details for all message type.)
7. Run BD10 for outbound and BD11 for Inbound.

How to do the inbound data transfer using ale-idocs..

Hi ,
the thing is , data will transfer either outbound and inbound by using the idocs. outbound means sending some information to another system it may be version to version and client to client.
inbound means receving the data.
Basically we have some procedure to send an idoc.
Phase 1 : ALE settings
Phase 2 : Idoc Creation
Phase 3 : Code develpment
Now i am going to first phase..
   Process :
    SALE is the tranx code where we defined the logical systems and assign them.
   here we defined both inbound and outbound system.
   then define RFC destination by using Tranx code : SM59
   define the partner profiles and port using tranx WE21 and WE20
   define the CDM ,Customer distribution model , BD64 , enter the message type and logical system for both (inbound and outbound )
    Note " in distributin model we can defined the filtering and field conversions ..
Once we finished these settings sucessfully then moves to phase 2.
Idoc creation :
   creation of segments using tranx code : WE31
   creation of idoc   using tranx code : WE30
    creation of message type : we80 and we81.
Phase 3 :
we can use in three ways to develp the code,
standard alone program and message control and change control..

Reverse HR/FI Posting through ALE/IDOC

We had a scenario in which Payroll Run will happen in one instance & posting will happen in another instance through ALE/IDOC.
Now we want to do the posting reversal though ALE/IDOC.
There is no specific message type for HR/FI Posting Reversal
Can anyone help on this?

What bharathi said is exactly correct Infact i was worked with HR/FI posting.
Posting of payroll from HR to FI is our (HR job) but reverse posting is absolutly FI consultant job. Since before that we already estblished a link between G/L a/c's and Wagetypes.

Filt to IDoc: cannot convert sender to ALE logical system

I tried to read a file into PI 7.0, map to and IDoc and send IDoc to SAP system. I have the following configuration:

Create a logical system for SYSTEM_A in SLD (you can give some string) and create that same logical
system in IDOC side (SALE).
