Glass touch screen Digitizers on 13.3 displays

So the glass touchscreen on the Pavillion X2 is smashed but the display is ok. I cannot find the glass Digitizer for the PavillionX2 13.3 but can find one for the Envoy 13.3 . both screens are the same size - look the same and searches for a digitizer for the Pavillion leads to the Envoy 13.3 digitizer so the question is are they compatible ,the same 13.3 digitizers connections and can I purchase the Envopy 13.3 digitizer touch screen glass and have it work in a Pavillion X2 ? Or does the  " display"  part listed for the X2 include the glass digitizer for touch screen ?

  • Glass touch screen for 310-1125f?

    Hi all,
Does any one know where I can buy a replacement glass touch screen for my touchsmart 310-1125f  product number: BV551AAR ? I have located the LCD display on ebay and a few other websites but I have not been able to find the actual touch screen glass assembly. Mine is cracked. I think the touch smart 310-1125 series is the same. It's the 20" size and HP's part number is 624359-001 and the description is Touch Screen Glass 20 Inch, Shasta this is according to HP's Partsurfer

    Hello soshie:
Welcome  to HP 's Forum. Sorry your Touchsmart has a crack glass. Please check your compter's warranty status. When you bought it came with a one year warranty. All HP Touchsmart 310 have the same external parts the last four numbers and letters only mean different memory and hard drive difference or more connector ports such as TV cards stuff like that. You can also try greg's list or Amazon.com and buy.com as well besides ebay. On this forum there was guy who had a glass cut for it. About six months or so back. He posted all that was involved. Thank you frrw. If i come accross any broken  cheep HP Touchsmart 310 models. While surfing the web. I will post it for you.

  • Laserjet Pro 200 color m251nw touch screen

The touch screen does not work except for teh keys outside of the touchscreen area.  The printer prints
OK, but I need to change the IP address and cannot get the touch screen to work.  It displays fine.

Thanks for replying back from the PM sjlocknar.
Make sure there is no damage on the power cord and that it is connected directly to a wall outlet.
The printer shouldn't be exposed to any electric or magnetic field.
Try another power cord, you can use  a monitor power cord to test it. Just to rule that out.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 30-60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Update the printer's firmware. HP LaserJet Pro 200 color Printer M251nw Drivers.
Is the printer still in warranty?

  • Touch screen won't touch

I am not sure if this is the right group for this.
I purchased a touch screen desktop monitor L12341wt at Best Buy.  It was shipped because they were out of stock at that location.  It works fine except that it is not "touch."  In other words nothing happens when I try to swipe, etc.
I called them and they said it was an issue with Lenovo which mislabels their monitors with wrong model numbers, etc. They warned me that even if I have them replac e it with a rehsip, the same issue may occur.
I would be better off going back to Best Buy but it is two hours away.
    Any solution to this?
    Many thanks,.

The only download I can find at the moment is the User Guide:
    http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/monitor/li2341t_wide_flat_panel_monitor_ug.pdf
Out of curiosity, have you followed the cable connection / power-up sequence as shown on page C-2 exactly as described? Seems to be pretty specific in order to have the touchscreen recognized as a USB device.
Connect the cables and switch on power in the following order:
    • Connect the video cable from the computer to the monitor.
    • Connect power to the monitor and switch on.
    • Connect power to the computer and switch on.
    • Connect the USB cable from the touch screen to the computer. Once the cable is connected, the computer automatically detects the USB device (the touch screen) and, aftera short pause, displays a series of messages on screen.
    Hope this helps.

  • Windows 7 Touch screen issues

I have a need on a windows 7 Restive touch device to have a touch and hold function just like a mouse click and Hold. Currently by default this works as a right click, disabling tap and hold to right click does not resolve the issue. This is the scenario:The touch screen is an HMI, it is used to control a PLC. I have a button that "Jogs" a motor. The motor will run at a slow speed in one direction as long as the button on the screen is held down.I can do this action in XP with no issue using third parting touch screen software specific to the display and I can do it on the Windows 7 system with the mouse. The system I have does not appear to have specific software for the display rather that display takes care of the translation and then sends commands to the OS. Cool except I don't have the function I need. Anyone have issues with...

Sorry that I am editing this. I forgot to look above that it is a Lumia 625
So yep.. You need to go with buying the glass which includes the digitizer. It comes together and cannot be separated. That is the only componet you need to buy. There is no need to replace the display/LCD as that will just extend the overall costs uselessly. Your display is pretty fine and as you say, original.
Buy the digitizer along with the plastic frame as it is a very tough task toi reuse the original frame.
Summing it up, I would recommend going the official Nokia Care way.If there's no such service available to you, buy a digitizer from an authentic source (ensure it is high quality) and replace it yourself or pay a local technician to do that.
    I don't know!
ahan... u mean http://www.parts4repair.com/touch-screen-digitizer-for-nokia-lumia-625/ ? its ok? (JUST should buy this? )

  • My iphone 4s fell from the bed and the front screen glass got cracked but the touch screen is working fine, so can i replace just that screen glass?? If not what am i to do ? And how much it might cost me for that repairing??

    I don't know. You'll have to ask.
FYI, if the phone was not originally sold in India, it can not be serviced in India. You will have to take it back to the country where it originated.

  • Touch screen display unreadable photosmart 6520

My touch screen is unreadable.  I think something fell on it.  Can't find a crack but is unreadable and I want to copy something.  Printing from the computer is working.

Welcome to the HP Community, @hesston
My best suggestions for the display not working would be to try a reset and ensure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help the display power back up.
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
If the troubleshooting does not help at all, I would lastly suggest technical support.

  • The lower portion of my ipod touch's touch screen is not working. The display looks fine, yet I can't unlock my iPod.

I just restored my ipod to its factory settings, hoping it would start working again. Yet when it finally turns on I find that i can't unlock it. The display looks fine, as everything still moves and the languages still change. Is there any way for me to restore the touch screen?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem. Likey a bad digitizer

  • Hairline crack in touch screen (not the glass) in Xperia Z1

I have a 5 month old Xperia Z1 mobile phone which has never been dropped or knocked.  On removing it from a padded pocket in my bag I noticed that the touch screen under the glass has a diagonal hairline crack originating from the top centre of the phone to under the right hand corner (the external glass has no crack).  After researching this I note that this is a known fault with the Xperia series mobile phones.   http://www.xperiablog.net/2014/05/30/bbcs-watchdog-investigates-xperia-z1-cracking-screen-issue-sony...

  • Tx2510au touch screen glass

    Hello,
I'm working with a Pavilion TX2510au and the touch screen glass was broken so the owner took it somewhere and they started the removal of the broken touch screen. When they weren't able to fix the situation it was brought to me and the touch screen glass was missing. I have a brand new LCD and digitizer but with the setup that I have I'm not sure if the touch screen glass is the 4 wire version or the 8 wire version.
Is there a simple way to figure out which version this laptop and digitizer uses?
    Thank you
