Glitch - "Export to PDF" links just appear and replace menu shortcuts

Has anyone else had this happen?
My menu shortcut for "Corner Effects" is missing, yet it shows up in the "Menu Customization" with the visibility "checked".

Firefox 20 changed from the old Download Manager to a new Download Panel. You can find a complete write-up here: [[Find and manage downloaded files]].
I suggest keeping that arrow around since it provides handy notifications. You can use the Customize feature to drag it down to the add-on bar where it won't take up as much space. To start customizing:
* right-click a blank area of the tab bar > Customize
* tap the Alt key > View menu > Toolbars > Customize
If you really don't need it, just drag it to the Customize dialog. You can always come back for it later if you like.

You select the printer properties and set the appropriate page size (I think there is a place to set it in PDF Maker too, but not sure). In the printer, this is equivalent to putting the proper paper in the printer.

The outgoing call icon has just appeared in the menu bar at the top of the screen on my iPhone 5 and i cant seem to get rid of it.

By ExportPDF service do you mean the AP that converts formats? I have that AP all bought and paid for. That’s the thing that gagging on my file.
The error msg. was “File failed to be converted using Adbobe ExportPDF online.”
I’m not sure what you’re talking about when you suggest using Acrobat

Strange PDF presets just appeared???

Hi everyone
Anyone come across this before. Just installed Indesign 6 today, works beautiful.
However these strange PDF presets have just appeared from no-where???
Can't delete them in the PDF define panel any ideas to get rid of them????
Any suggestions would be great. (screen shot below)

I just purchased and downloaded InDesign CS6 from cloud on March 27, 2013. I see the exact strange Presets Colum in my newly purchase Adobe Indesign PDF presets
I use the same program on school computer (two different schools, two different compueters) and all of them have the usual/normal pdf presets.
I am in Canada and my primary language is English, so no, I definitly didnit use Japanese version. However starngely my presets show the same thing as yours does Colum! It was also crashing when exporting to PDF and in the pdf menu, it didn't give me the blank space to type pages I want to export. And also in that menu it showed something called Costume V!
I was on the phone with Adobe for an hour with no result (India, which frustrates me as anything as conversations on their call centre are not optimized and they are not trained well to know the latest changes in CS6 it seems!)
Then looking at Adobe online help I found one clue (Adobe didn't even upgrade the help to include them all! )
look at this page and search for worg Japan to see the Japan Magazine Preset mentioned! Did anybody found any other clues?

I have a brochure created for print in InDesign. I need to create a PDF for the web, that would be a link to download and print on a home printer. How do I accomplish this?

Can I export a PDF in InDesign Server and return it to the calling client?

Using Java/CORBA between a client machine and InDesign Server, I would like to:
1. Make a remote call to InDesign server to create a document, passing IDML as a parameter on the call
2. Make another remote call to InDesign server to export a PDF, returning the PDF on the call return.
Is this possible? I notice that the doExport method does not return a PDF to the calling client. Instead, it saves the PDF on the server. I don't see any apis which would allow me to do the above.
The use case here is a web application which need to "preview" an image. The image consists of a template and some variable data which is sent to an InDesign server for composition and is returned as an image.

I fail to see the issue. You have added crop marks, have you not? For all intents and purposes those are marks that are supposed to be visible and printable for cutting in the real world. If you don't want them, don't use them. Acrobat can generate them on the fly for printing, anyway.

Export a PDF or JPG--Pros and Cons ??

I've been having trouble with Keynote crashing constantly and losing work. (often crashes on save) Due to this, I've got in the habit of exporting to PDF so that I at least have a record of what I have to recreate.
I still don't have a fix for the crashes (although the iWork Team is looking at it), so I may have to create a new Keynote document that is creating using exported slides from Keynotes that won't save.
All of my sides have photos on them (2-5) and some also have text. The resulting document will end up being exported as a QT movie to be placed into iMovie and then into iDVD.
At this point, the slides are in PDF form. If I can get back into the original documents that were crashing, would I need to export as JPEG instead of PDF so that I can pull them back into a new document?
I'm sure that I can take my current PDF document and export that as JPEG to pull back into Keynote, but I'm not sure of what quality loss I may experience. What's the quality difference between exporting as PDF (high-quality) and exporting as JPEG?

Those crashes sound very poor. You've asked a general question about quality and generally if you jpeg or tiff is used at actual pixel size and compression is limited to lossless you will have no discernible difference in image quality in Keynote. Printing will suffer because while screen resolution is 72dpi printers typicall print at 300dpi and higher. Also if you enlarge your images on the slide they will not compensate the way vector artwork and postscript text (PDF) will.
Having said that PDF files will show in Keynote.

I have a requirement to export the current document as PDF file. I am using the export provider with the service registry to export the document as pdf file. The code works successfully. Now I have a requirement where I need to save the pdf with color separations and page marks. First I need some information on what does page marks and color separations actually mean for a pdf file. And second I need to know how this could be achieved. Do I have to set some preferences? I have tried setting preference for color , bleed and it works. But I am not sure whether this satisfies the requirement. I would be thankful if someone would suggest me on the same.

In my experienced it cant, you can export it to pdf but you dont have the ability to make it fillable, unless doing it manually, from the exported pdf, install an Adobe Professional software to have capability to save data's.

startnow tool bar with bing just appeared on my foxfire tool bar. i tried deleting it from programs- it deleted from programs, but still appears in the tool bar! can you help?

Since upgrade to v29, pinned tabs don't appear and sometimes all tabs don't appear and open menu button does not work

My pinned tabs don't appear at any start and at some starts, I don't see the bookmarks toolbar (I can restore that by removing it from view-toolbars and then reselecting it). when this happens, FF also does not show any tabs and the Menu button does not work.
I have tried various suggestions found on here like deleting the sessionstore.js and re-installing FF, also tried disabling hardware acceleration in safe mode and still have the same problems.
Am reluctant to reset FF in case I lose my favourites and Bookmarks, is there anything else I can try?

Firefox may not have closed properly. 
You can try to update to Firefox 29.0.1 to be released tomorrow (Friday) to see if that helps with this issue.
