Global Address Transform: Invalid Option Name

Hi,
Does anyone know how to resolve this error?
"Transform <Canada_AddressCleanse>: Global Adress Transform: Invalid Option Name: The option name "DISABLE_CERTIFICATION" is invalid.
Tranform Canada_AddressCleanse: DLL <libgactransformu.so> runtime function <PerThreadInit> failed with error <4>"
We have installed DS 3.1 on HP-UX and can't use the GAC at all.

Can you try this
1. Within the designer, in the local object library - click on the transforms tab
2. Expand Data Quality / Global_Address_Cleanse
3. Double click on the Global address cleanse Transform configuration that you are using within your dataflow .
Let me know if you are seeing any error when you open the configuration. I want to make sure that Transform configuration ATL is not corrupted.

We Use SBS 2011 and outlook for interoffice mailing.
In our Company People Know each other by their Last Names. But in Outlook in Global Address List names are sorted by First Name alphabetically. I want, for example, when people type “C” in search box of
“Select Names: Global Address List” people who have Last Names beginning with C to be shown.

By the way, in
Select Names: Global Address List, did you click
Advanced Find option and type name in Last name tab in Find panel to search result? Was it will be an acceptable option?

USA Address Cleanse - invalid City Directory

Hi All,
I am getting the following error while using USA Address Cleanse transform;
4772 3680 DQX-058306 5/22/2009 11:15:20 AM Transform <USA_AddressCleanse>: Global Address Transform: WRONG DIRECTORY. Invalid City directory...
Though I have used correct directory path for Reference files:
" Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Data Services\DataQuality\reference_data\ga_country.dir "

Alexander,
yes you have to download the Address Directories from the Service Marketplace. There are new versions coming out every quarter and you need to have a subscription to get access to the Address Directories.

See Brandon's comment there, the CASS 2009 cycle will be introduces with the Data Services 3.2 release.

Output Language in Global Address Cleansing

Hi,
How can the DQ Global Address Transform be restricted to give all the out put field values in English text?
Even though the input text is in English, DQ transform gives the address field in Non English characters as its a Hungarian address.
Is there a way to force it to give in English only?

blank values using Global Address Cleanse Transform

Hi,
We are trying to cleanse Global Addresses using Global Address cleanse transform. (with USA and Global Engines). We are passing Locality, Region and Postal code as multiline items. In the output some of the records are not getting populated. For these records if we keep USA as defult country then the fields are getting populated. The problem is we cannot take USA as defult country because it has global addresses and for other countries also it is filling USA as country name. Why is it that without giving USA as default country the fields are not getting populated for some records?
Below are some of the sample addresses.
1)     10 INDUSTR. HWY MS6     LESTER     PA     19029
2)     PO BOX_22964     JACKSON     MS     39225
3)     306 EASTMAN     GREENWOOD     MS     38930
4)     3844 W NORTHSIDE DR     JACKSON     MS     39209
5)     259 W QIANJIANG RD     ZHEJIANG     CN     31440
Can you please suggest a way to fill the countries for these addresses? Any inputs on this will be appreciated.

Hi,
As Lance indicates, you set up your address cleanse (for US I would suggest using the URAC transform) and map in your input fields as normal. In the output, you will select to output postcode2 along with all the other standardized fields you want posted in the output.
Note: If an address is assignable using the CASS rules established by the USPS to the USPS referential data, the postcode2 will be populated. In cases where it is not assignable, the postcode2 can be empty or the input postcode2 data could be preserved based on a user's settings.

Exchange Global Address List search not showing name or email

I have an iPhone and iPad connected to a Microsoft Exchange server at work. When I search the GAL for a person in the company, the results are shown as the Company only (data coming from the 'Company' field on the Exchange server) instead of the contact's name.
Here are the steps I'm taking:
- I go to Contacts app, select 'Groups', then select 'Global Address List'
- I type in a name of a person I'd like to email. For example I type John to search for all the Johns in the company.
- I get a seach result that lists anyone with John in their name. The problem is the search results list the company name instead of the user's/contact's name. (If the 'Company' field is blank in Outlook/Exchange, I CAN see the user's name).
So my search results for John look like this:

COMPANY

COMPANY

COMPANY

Caution:
The USA Regulatory Address Cleanse Transform does not accept Unicode
data. If an input record has characters outside the Latin1 code page
(character value is greater than 255), the USA Regulatory Address Cleanse
transform will not process that data. Instead, the input record is sent to the
corresponding standardized output field without any processing. No other
output fields (component, for example) will be populated for that record. If
your Unicode database has valid U.S. addresses from the Latin1 character
set, this transform processes as usual.

Global Address List for multiple people with same name?

When writing a new email, I want to add a name from the global address list of my microsoft exchange Contacts group. I select the blue plus button and type in the name. If there is more than one person in my company with the same name, both people will show up. However, Mail is not letting me see the details of either of the two people so I don't know which one is the right one.
However, if I start from Contacts, Groups, Exchange and type in that person's name, when I select a name, a second screen will show up with the details (email address, title, etc) of the person. That way, I know which one is the correct person who I want to email. Why can't I do this directly from Mail? If I need to send an email to multiple people from the GAL, I don't want to have to search for them via Contacts.

I don't know the exact and complete specification of your intended schema...
anyway, from what I can see in your post, I assume that

which makes your "deed_type" a complexType, including a sequence of two kinds of xs:string elements : "name" and "value"

Cannot see Global Address List (GAL) when I type in name in email

we have BES 10 with some Q10s and Z10s. on this one particular Z10, when I begin to type a name in, it does not automatically give me suggestions withinthe global address list (a list below) with the names that have that sequence in.
On all the other ones, I get suggestions that are part of the GAL. is there a setting for this and how can I make it so it suggests/looks up the gal when I type a name in?
to circumvent this I can type a name in and then click on 'lookup' and then it resolves some names within the GAL, but this is tedious and the other phones don't act this way.

Do you want to change to your name for just the email and/or your MBP? As it stands now, your sister is the admin not you.
If you just want to change the email and you are using Apple's Mail, post in the Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard/Mail forum. If using 3rd party email client, post in their forum.

Er... is there a chance your network is not properly configured? Can you please shed some light on the details of your network?
By the way, I doubt that CUCM would ever be able to start up in VMWare Workstation.

Get name from Outlook Global Address List and other info

Hi, I hope somebody can help me. I'm new in Acrobat scripting so I need some more Help.
I have a link that executes a script that will send an e-mail message.
This is my script:
app.mailMsg(true,"[email protected]","[email protected]","","This is the subject","This is the body of the mail.");
I noticed that when executing this script, Acrobat opened the Outlook Global Address List to verify the e-mail accounts; which is great.
Now, I'd like to know if there is a command that does this:
1. (before opening Outlook new message window) Open a window asking for the recipient e-mail address.. with the possibility to get it from the Outlook Global Address Book
2. Open a second window asking the same as above but putting the e-mail address in the "CC" field.
2. Finally, the New Message window appears with the "to", "cc", "subject" and "body" fields filled.
I'd really appreciate your help.
Also.... is there any other command to get date and hour in a variable?

Is there a key equiv to locate a folder if the URL is selected, and the folder is shown? E.g., in Address Book, if a name is selected an Option key pressed, all groups containing that name show as highlited.

It is a bit arduous, roundabout, and time consuming to search for and enable a URL in the Firefox Library, then open the site, then click the STAR in the URL field to see where that URL exists in the Library.
The Apple Address Book (AB) uses a feature that would make locating a URL in the Library MUCH easier:
• Enter a word in the AB to find an address, and with the address showing, press Option key – Any/all Group(s) (folder(s)) containing that address show as highlighted until the Option key is released.
• Could the same/similar be done with Firefox?
I.e., use Find in the FF Lib, select any URL in the displayed list, press Option (or whatever key combo) to show the folders containing that URL.

I installed Informatica and Oracle 11g, tried to create my DSN with the Driver DataDirect Oracle Wire Protocol. I keep bumping into the message " [Informatica][ODBC Oracle wire protocol driver][Oracle] ora-00922: missing or invalid option".
Can you please help to understand where the error comes from?

While creating TYPE remove semi colon from end of the statement and also dont use extra / as / means execute last statement so you may encounter error..

Global Address Cleansing with suggestion

Iu2019m using Global Address Cleansing with suggestion list enabled. The problem Iu2019m having is for that Canadian addresses are not populating the address related fields (i.e. primary name, number, etcu2026) until the selection process is complete. This differs from the US engines that populate the fields with each reply. Is there a way to replicate how the US engine handles suggestion replies within the Global Address Cleansing transform?
We are using Data Services v 3.2 (12.2.1.2)
