Global FlashPlayerTrust Location ist wrong in the tech Spec document

From Spec
"This directory is named FlashPlayerTrust, and is called the Global FlashPlayerTrust directory. It is located alongside the directory that contains the mms.cfg file (see “mms.cfg file location” on page 19). For example, if the mms.cfg file is in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash, the location of the Global FlashPlayerTrust directory is C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\FlashPlayerTrust. (For information on specifying content as trusted only for the current user, see “The User FlashPlayerTrust directory” on page 35.)"
This is wrong the Global FlashPlayerTrust directory is NOT located  alongside. Its located UNDER the directory.
For example "C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerTrust" and not like the example in the spec "C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\FlashPlayerTrust"

  • How can I get the tech specs of my MacBook Pro?

Hi - I want to sell my MacBook Pro (to buy a new one). I am one of those people who loves Apple because I do not have to worry about techy things as I had to when I was a PC guy. The problem is that, as a result, now that I want to sell my MacBook, I cannot remember its tech configuration and do not know how to get it!!
I am sure this question is most silly for most of you. Could someone please let me know how I can get the tech specs of my MacBook? In particular, I was thinking of:
    - OS X version
    - Processor
    - L2 cache
    - System Bus
    - Memory (RAm)
    - Hard Drive
    - Optical Drive
    - Graphics card
    - Graphics memory
    - Video capability
    - Display resolution
    - Expantion slots, etc
    - Ethernet card
    - Wireless card
    Thanks a lot!!

For the published specs, click on the Support tab at the top of the page, select the "Tech Specs" link, and search for your model of MacBook Pro. For specifics about your system, run System Profiler, which will be in Applications -> Utilities folder on your MBP.

  • Can I get the tech spec for my mac mini online?

I am selling my mac mini and need the tech spec as the one's on the Ebay catalog are not correct for this model. There must be a way of entering my serial number but I can't find a suitable site and Apple Support will charge me for asking them!!!

Since you did not specify specify your model Mini try looking here:

Where is the link that says you need a 32 bit processor?  On my MBA, in the past I've ran both Office for Mac and Windows 7 (MS Office) via Parallels (Bootcamp does the same thing).  I chose installing Windows 7 in the 32 bit mode ONLY because I have a couple of other legacy Windows programs that only run in 32 bit mode.

  • Want to buy Photoshop Lightroom 4, but the tech specs ask for specific processors?

    Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying product listed in question, but the tech specs for it says that I need either "Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon® 64 processor", but I have intel inside core i5 processor.
Will Photoshop still work, or are the processors listed on the tech specs just the best processors for it?
    Thanks.

Those are minimum specs. Your i5 based machine should be fine.

  • Why is the iPad 3 not available? Not even the tech specs!

Why isn't the iPad 3 available? Not even the tech specs!

There have been five iPad models: the original iPad, the iPad 2, the third generation iPad, the "iPad with Retina display" and the iPad Mini.
    http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipad/compare
The original iPad and the third generation iPad have been discontinued. There is not now, nor has there ever been, an iPad 3 so if you are searching for technical specifications look for iPad (3rd generation).

according to the tech specs' required to use iClode it seems that Apple is ignoring it's promisses to their valued costumers since 2001..I have to go to an Apple store and buy a new MacBook and iPhone..mm yeah right we are all swimming in cash. On June Apple had promissed it's old valued costumers that they can continue to access their Mac mail accounts via a browser. But hey ! why keep promisses. Now you need to purchase all the latest gadgets to use y'r Mac mail-iCloud. MOVING TO GMAIL !

If you had a MobileMe account, and provided you migrated it to iCloud before 1 August, you can access your email at http://icloud.com on any modern browser. 10.7.2 minimum and iOS5 or 6 are required for the devices to use iCloud syncing and other facilities.
If you have Tiger, Leopard or Snow Leopard you can set Mail up manually to access the email on an existing iCloud account:
Entering iCloud email settings manually in Snow Leopard or Leopard

In Reply to all fellow Apple fans: It is great that someone found a work-around to the iTunes 11.4 no syncing problem. I think that is fine for the short term. And  I am really glad that we customers have a forum to share information and experiences regarding Apple's products. However, as someone here said, we are all customers; and posting a problem here "IN HOPES THAT APPLE READS THESE POSTS" is NOT a way to resolve this issue or any issue.
PLEASE CONTACT APPLE: Apple Service Center: 1-800-275-2273   - Once you get a ticket number then and only then is this documented and then Apple can follow-through and alert the engineers who will fix this.
The "CWA2" work-around band-aid does several things in addition to reverting back to iTunes 11.3.1. :
    1) It ensures that Apple continues to know nothing of the problem.
    2) It ensures that the faulty code that is within 11.4 remains there and is perpetuated into future versions.
    3) It ensures that YOU can never upgrade to future versions. (If the resident faulty code remains and perpetuates)
So once you have reverted back to 11.3.1, the problem APPEARS to have gone away (FOR YOU) but you have not solved the problem.
    Again, respectfully,
    1) Sending feedback to apple (using the "Report Bugs To Apple" menu item in Safari will get the information to someone, somewhere and add it to the pile of issues, complaints, suggestions, etc.
    2) CALLING the Apple service/support Center at  1-800-275-2273 will put you in touch with a real APPLE person who will begin the process of documenting and forwarding this issue on to those who will fix it.
    and
    3) emailing Apple directly will make sure that they get the information.
    lets get this fixed !!!!!!!!!

  • Does Apple have a record of the tech specs for my Macbook Pro?

I recently had my Macbook reparied. I know I had 8 gigs of RAM and it was returned to me with only 4 gigs RAM. Does Apple keep a record of tech specs for my Macbook Pro? ( 15 inch Mid July 2012).
    Gabriella Jean

Was it the Apple Store where you had it repaired? Otherwise you'd have to go back to the repair place where you had the work done.
"Does Apple keep a record of tech specs for my Macbook Pro?"
If you purchased it w/ the 8 GB from Apple the info would be linked to your serial number.

  • Wondering about the "image" tag in the Tech Specs example

I'll begin by admitting that what I don't know about coding would fill a bunch of bookshelves, but I've noticed that some people (including myself) have been having problems with their image files lately. I've also noticed that the coding for the image tag in the sample on the Technical Specifications page (http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/techspecs.html) isn't formed like all the rest.
    It’s
    <itunes:image href="http://example.com/podcasts/everything/AllAboutEverything.jpg" />
    Shouldn’t it be
    <itunes:image> href="http://example.com/podcasts/everything/AllAboutEverything.jpg" </itunes:image>

    HP Pavilion zd8000   Windows XP

    Hi DiscipleC--
Andy is 100% correct (he makes some of the best podcast software around, so you're getting the advice of the pros here).
What will happen now that your feed doesn't validate is that the image will likely stay there. But that's not because it's correct--it's because iTunes will see a broken feed when it checks, and it won't make any changes at all. So if you add episodes, those won't appear because the feed won't be updated until it works again.
Follow the image art example exactly as listed in the example feed in the technical spec, make sure it validates over at feedvalidator.org, and you'll be fine.
    Good luck!

  • HT203167 the path for several of my songs that i can't locate is wrong because the path uses forward slashes instead of back slashes.  Can I change this?

several of my songs in itunes gives me the can't locate ! sign.  in going to the info for each of those songs i noticed the path to locate the file was in proper format except for the slash marks which were / instead of \ .  how can i change the slash makrs in the paths for those songs?

thanks for the info.  if itunes is applying the wrong path i.e. - forward slashes in path instead of backward slash how will i ever access those songs I've purchased.  it won't let me download them again because it thinks they are on my computer?

  • There is a new DSM 2.0, but where are the tech specs?

    Dear SDN Community,
After the upgrade of one of our Portal systems from SP15 to SP17 we see that there is an additional configuration item in the System Objects availible.
The new property it technical ID is: wap.ITS.SAP_Session_Management
The description of this new property is:
If set to 'Yes', the SAP GUI for HTML application is started with parameter 'sap-sessmgt-version=2.0'. If set to 'No' the parameter 'sap-sessmgt-version' is omitted and the SAP GUI for HTML works with the deafult Session Management (SISP 1.1).
Now I already found the following notes...
Note 1235237 - WebGui Transaction iViews (ITS) support DSM 2.0
      https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1235237
Note 1233321 - ITS support DSM protocol 2.0
      https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1233321
...but they do not give me an answer on: "whats new", "why its better" etc etc.
Can someone provide me this info? or a link to it?
    Thanks in advance!

    Dear SDN Community,
Because I realy wanted to know the anwer I raised a (low-prio) message at OSS for it.
    Today I got an answer:
    17.09.2009 - 08:11:02 CET - Reply by SAP
    Dear Customer
After discussing your query with one of an expert following is the
    answer to your query :
The major new features with SISP 2.0 are support for Suspend/Resume
notification and performance optimization in the navigation. Basically,
SISP 2.0 allows to differentiate between a navigation away and a browserclose (in SISP 1.1, both cases are signalled by a USR_ABORT command,
whereas in SISP 2.0, the navigation away is signalled by a USR_SUSPEND
command, this command is new to SISP 2.0). In other words, the SRA now
distinguishes between suspend of the application via a navigation away,
with the likelihood that the application will be resumed, and
termination of the application via a browser close. Comparing to SISP
1.1, the SISP 2.0 therefore provides finer granularity, so the content
server then can decide whether to perform a 'suspend' of the application(where the data are kept ready for resume later) or release the session. In addition, when re-launching the same application (for example by
clicking on the same navigation node twice), the portal SRA will
recognize this case for a SISP 2.0 object and omit the USR_SUSPEND
notification for performance reasons (otherwise the content server wouldhave to terminate the existing session and create the new one a few
    milliseconds later).

Very clear answer I would say... so we are going to use it

  • HT1725 Many of my songs can not be accessed.  It says the orignal file could not be located.  When I click locate it might show the song under documents but in faded print.  Can not access.

It says the original file can not be located.  If I do find it under documents it can not be accessed.  (faded prilnt)

Probably not every one, but you will have to do it several times. Right click on the name of the song, show in window's explorer and when it can't it should give you a dialogue to find the song.
Once it finds one it'll offer to find more and you can locate stuff that way.

  • Has anyone actually experienced anything close to the Up To Battery life stated on the Tech Specs???

The battery is supposed to be so good that it would:
Standby time: Up to 225 hours
Internet use: Up to 8 hours on 3G, up to 8 hours on LTE, up to 10 hours on Wi-Fi
I have 4 chargers scattered around my life spaces.  I went out for 3 hours today, made no phone calls and did not eMails, and still lost 60% of the battery life.
This phone is a work of art but simply not practical!
    Anyone found solutions?

Being my first, can only compare with my old Nokias, last one being an N97 with features I still miss. However, after hours of studying the thing, reading all the manuals, including David Pogue's and studying it some more, I have managed to stretch it to 4 days without touching the charger, provided I turn it into a dumbphone for standby (all off except 2G voice) and selectively enable what I need while I use it. And NO Facebook. Subjectively, I felt a very modest improvement with the 6.1 upgrade, contrary to many irate forum posters.
Must confess being the main cause to limited battery life. With all the goodies and gadgets it has, it is simply too much of a temptation to resist dragging out instead of the Mac.

  • Is there a limit to Azure Baidu push? What are the tech specs around delivery?

    Is there a max_allowed_push_sent/unit_of_time?
And, is there any information regarding send rate?  e.g.  We can send 1 million push minute, or more?  Or less?

The performance metrics you ask for depend a lot on the customer scenario and their usage pattern. Typically for broadcast scenario, we are able to process 1 million sends in 1 minute. The latency in delivering the notification to the client devices has
to additionally take into account the intermediate PNS and differs based on the PNS though PNS is able to deliver the notifications usually in a few seconds unless it is throttling for some reason.
