Global Intercompany System -- Transaction

Dear All:
I am in the phase of implementing GIS for our two entities operating in 2 countries.
Have done GCS and currency translation phase.
If anybody have experience in implementing such scenario whreby having 2 SOB's with differnet COA and Currency. Kindly send steps to configure it.
I'll be glad if anybody could send me Screen Shots for the whole process.

I went through almost all the documents but unfortunately did not find any good material abt GIS... As mentioned earlier we have gone through Consolidation / Translation and it goes pretty well... What I need now is to setup Intercompany transactions between our two entities.
We are on 11.5.9 (DB 9.2.0.4).

GL - Global Intercompany System - Interface import

Hi experts,
I need some help with the GIS interface import.
I create records in gl_iea_interface, and run the Import Intercompany Transactions program. The program reports no errors, but I can't see any transaction lines being imported, just the transaction. When I look in the Enter Intercompany Transactions window, there is no lines, just the header and the clearing account.
And as you can see below, I set the line type to 'D' for distribution (offset) line and not 'C' for clearing line.

Advanced Global Intercompany System and Accounts Receivables

Hi,
We in the process of a implantation of GL and AP modules in our client place.
There we uses two legal entities which shares same ledger and we are using AGIS for that. As we are not using Accounts Receivables module how this will affect to the set up and how it can be over come obstacles regarding approving journals relate to AR module.

If I'm not mistaken this could be a workflow mailer (java?) issue.

System.Transactions.TransactionAbortedException with no reason

Occasionally I am receiving the following error:
System.Transactions.TransactionAbortedException: The transaction has aborted. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: The requested operation cannot be completed because the connection
has been broken.
The exception is happening on the Dispose method of
TransactionScope although nothing special happened, no timeout occur and the SQL server
is OK.
This method is executed every 10 minutes and the problem occurs occasionally, nothing seems to be difference when the problem does not occur.

As I said timeout does not occur since all those commands takes about 10 ms to execute,
the command timeout is 1 second and the transaction timeout is 30 seconds.

When the update data is reorganized, it deletes inconsistent
(incomplete) update requests. While one user is carrying out a
transaction, the the update data is often in a state of incompletion.
When the transaction is completed and the update begun, the data becomes
complete. If the data is reorganized in productive operation, temporary
inconsistencies may get deleted. A data inconsistency with incomplete
data can therefore arise.

Reorganize the update tables only where there are no users logged onto
the system.

Sun Cluster 3.2 - Global File Systems

Sun Cluster has a Global Filesystem (GFS) that supports read-only access throughout the cluster. However, only one node has write access.
In Linux a GFS filesystem allows it to be mounted by multiple nodes for simultaneous READ/WRITE access. Shouldn't this be the same for Solaris as well..
From the documentation that I have read,
"The global file system works on the same principle as the global device feature. That is, only one node at a time is the primary and actually communicates with the underlying file system. All other nodes use normal file semantics but actually communicate with the primary node over the same cluster transport. The primary node for the file system is always the same as the primary node for the device on which it is built"
The GFS is also known as Cluster File System or Proxy File system.
Our client believes that they can have their application "scaled" and all nodes in the cluster can have the ability to write to the globally mounted file system. My belief was, the only way this can occur is when the application has failed over and then the "write" would occur from the "primary" node whom is mastering the application at that time. Any input will be greatly appreciated or clarification needed. Thanks in advance.

Should some clustered services (FS clients such as app servers) be restarted
in case when the master node changes due to failover? Or is it truly seamless
as in a bit of latency added for duration of mounting the block device on another
node, with no fatal interruptions sent to the clients?
And, is it true that this solution is gratis, i.e. may legally be used for free
unless the customer wants support from Sun (authorized partners)? ;)

HTTP destination PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER missing (system , transaction SM59)

Hi Experts,
I am working on ABAP Proxy -> File scenario. When I trigger message in ECC, it is giving error.
When I go to SXI_Monitor in ECC, the message is shown as red with error message "HTTP destination PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER missing (system , transaction SM59)". But the RFC destination PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER exists and when i tested this connection I got 500 empty request received message.
I have configured in SXMB_ADM the ECC system as application system and mentioned 'dest://PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER' as corresponding integration server.
Could you please help me in resolving this issue?

Ensure below items in your ECC system.
1. goto SM59
2. ensure your RFC - PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER has this entry '/sap/xi/engine?type=entry' (without quots)
3. Target Host has value your PI/XI hostname and correct port number (HTTP)
4, for Logon& Security Tab, ensure to use userID PIAPPLUSER and correct password (saved)
or Service user of Integration engine (maintained in Exchange profile)

HTTP destination IED_100 does not exist (system , transaction SM59)

Hi guys,
When I try to send a xml file to WAS using ABAP Proxy I receive this error message: "HTTP destination IED_100 does not exist (system , transaction SM59)".
I did a test connection in sm59 for http connections/R/3 systems and the messagem bellow is ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILDED.
What could be wrong?

Unable to log on to system IED_100 in language en with user XIRWBUSER. But in WAS system (IED_100) I dont have a user XIRWBUSER!!! I need to create it?
Tell me if Im correct: I dont need any RFC adapter; Im only need an XI adapter (http) to send the xml file to ABAP proxy (IED_100) and on IED_100 I need to activate XI message format service in SICF and create a RFC connection in SM59 to call XI integration server. This is already done!

Intercompany sale transaction

Hi all
I am working with intercompany sale transaction and i am having an error
My org structure is c.c 1573 sales org 0003 d.c 04 div 00 plant 1002
Another org strcture is 1574 sales org 0009 d.c 09 div 00 plant is 1006
Customer 70000101 in sales area 0003,04,00
Customer 70000102 in sales area 0009,09,00
Material X is maintained for both the plants and stock is kept only in plant 1006 assigned c.c1574
Now i enter an order for material x from Customer 70000101 in sales area 0003,04,00 assigngned to c.c1573
I have done all settings
I am able to create delivery from plant 1006 assigned to c.c1574 and bill this customer f2 bill from my sales org 0003
Pricing procedue is RVAA01
Now comes my problem
I am able to create a inter company billing based on only the customers inv as referance that is billing doc
When i try to create inter company billing based on delivery it throwing an error as sales org not defined
And also in the intercompany inv created the header is 70000101 and not the sales org 0003 and pricing procedure also RVAA01 and not ICAA01
What is that i am missing in customizing

Considering that Standard settings are already present, go to VF01 and select Billing Type IV and you should be able to create an Intercompany Invoice against delivery.
Alternatively, go to VF05 and check on option Intercompany Billing or IV. This option is probably available after the option of Order Related Billing and Delivery Related Billing. It is possible to create Billing Document in Background from VF04.
And also in the intercompany inv created the header is 70000101 and not the sales org 0003 and pricing procedure also RVAA01 and not ICAA01
Check the OVKK assignment for determination of Pricing Procedure. Ensure to check the Document pricing Procedure in Inter-Company Billing Type IV.

Problems mounting global file system

Hello all.
I have setup a Cluster using two Ultra10 machines called medusa & ultra10 (not very original I know) using Sun Cluster 3.1 with a Cluster patch bundle installed.
When one of the Ultra10 machines boots it complains about being unable to mount the global file system and for some reason tries to mount the node@1 file system when it is actually node 2.
on booting I receive the message on the macine ultra10
Type control-d to proceed with normal startup,
(or give root password for system maintenance): resuming boot
If I use control D to continue then the following happens:

Does anyone have any idea why the machine called ultra10 of node ID 2 is trying to mount the node ID 1 global file system when the correct entry is within the /etc/vfstab file?

Hmm, so for arguments sake, if I tried to mount both /dev/md/dsk/d50 devices to the same point in the filesystem for both nodes, it would mount OK?
I assumed the problem was because the device being used has the same name, and was confusing the Solaris OS when both nodes tried to mount it. Maybe some examples will help...
My cluster consists of two nodes, Helene and Dione. There is fibre-attached storage used for quorum, and website content. The output from scdidadm -L is:

This allows me to have identical entries in both host's /etc/vfstab files. There are also shared devices under /dev/global that can be accessed by both nodes. But the RAID devices are not referenced by anything from these directories (i.e. there's no /dev/global/md/dsk/50). I just thought it would make sense to have the option of global meta devices, but maybe that's just me!

Global Consolidation System setup

The holding company holds 75% of entity A and 55% of entity B. So, how can I set this percentage in the consolidation setup?

Unable to remount the global file system

Hello All,
I am facing problem when i am remounting the global file system on one of the nodes in cluster.
Here are my system details:
OS: SunOS sf44buce02 5.10 Generic_141414-01 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V440
SunCluster Version:3.2
The problem details:
The following entry i have in my /etc/vfstab file
dev/md/cfsdg/dsk/d10 /dev/md/cfsdg/rdsk/d10 /global/TspFt ufs 2 yes global,logging
and now i wanted to add "nosuid" option to the global file system. I have used the following command to add but i couldn't succeed.
# mount -o nosuid,remount /global/TspFt i am getting the following error
mount: Operation not supported
mount: Cannot mount /dev/md/cfsdg/dsk/d10
can anyone tell me How to remount the global file system without reboot?
