Global Navigation dropdown does not hide on mouseout

Hi,
We have a issue in our SharePoint 2010 Site, where the global navigation menu and sub menu does not hide when we move the mouse away. Correct functionality is that on mousehover at top menu, the sub menu should appear and on mouseout, the sub menu should
hide.
But in our case, they do not hide on mouseout, they will hide only when we scroll the mouse. Moreover, the other elements on the page start appearing above the submenus (when we mousehover over the other elements). Please see below:

(on mousehover)

menuitem2 -> submenu item1
submenu(other element on page) item2
The above menu and submenu should hide on mouseout but it doesn't and instead the "other element on page" start coming over the sub menu or menu items.
Hope the problem is understood.

but we are stuck in selection of dynamic dropdowns, can you please let me know how to select and apply zIndex property to all the dynamic dropdowns in global navigation.

I have tried rebuilding the site but the same problem appears. Everything else seems perfect up to tha publidhed file.

Navigation bar does not appear on the published page, but is replaced by a "bullet".
"Include page in Navigation menu" is checked on every page.
Therefore unable to navigate to other pages.
If other pages are moved to the first position, the same thing occurs - ie unable to navigate to any other page.

One frequent reason for that is the fact that not all the files in the Scripts folder for the site are getting uploaded. While viewing the site bring up the Activity Window (Command+Option+A) and see if any of the files are listed as missing. If there are you'll need to upload the Scripts folder to the server.
If you're using iWeb the only option there is to try the File ➙ Publish Entire Site menu option.
Or, you can publish you site to a folder on your hard drive and use a 3rd party FTP client like Cyberduck to upload just the Scripts folder to the server.

Global Policy Link Does Not Open A New Browser Window

Hi All,
On 11.5.10.2 version
Global Policy Link which is located at the top of most iExpenses pages is
supposed to open a dynamic web page (Core policy manuals) on a new browser when
someone clicks on it. Currently this link, when clicked on it, brings the
correct page on the same browser.
I need the page to be opened in new window.
if not so, i need a alternate solution to open in new window

Respectfully, that answer isn't particularly helpful. I have already demonstrated that middle-clicking (mouse wheel click) will open a new instance of FF, and other programs. This was true before the upgrade from FF4 to FF6, and is true on all my VM builds (Windows 7 default install with nothing but FF installed).
Nevertheless, I've tried shift-left-click, and it does not open a new instance. It will only open a new instance if I pin FF to the taskbar, which I have already stated I do not want to do. This new behaviour is unique to FF. Other applications (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, whatever) all behave as expected. It is only Firefox that is misbehaving, and it is only misbehaving since the upgrade.
My issue is that FF has changed its behaviour with respect to middle-clicking since upgrading from 4 to 6. I'd welcome helpful comments about getting FF to behave.

Result row does not hide value

Hi all,
I have some calculated key figures that are using formula variables to get dates to do calculations on.
Since summing up date values does not lead to anything meaningful, I selected the 'Hide' value in the 'Calculate results as...' section.
However, the results row is still showing an 'X' in this column when I run the query.
I have one calculated key figure for a date using this same method (formula variable from an infoobject) and the result row is hidden correctly.
Does anyone have any idea on why the result row would still display even though it supposed to be hidden?

result rows needs need to be suppressed for characteristic properties.
in query designer , click on characteristics in your reports ( i.e rows ) goto display property supress the result rows..

Book Title in Navigation Bar Does Not Display Correctly

Hi,
I tried creating a epub file following Epub Best Practices ebook but after creation and loading of the ebook, I noticed that the book title at the navigation bar is not appearing correctly. The only the upper half of the text is shown so it appears that the text is cut in half. What should I do to correct this?

It seems that ADE is having errors displaying the book title when it has a non-breaking space. The book title in the previous post contains an non-breaking space. And when I replaced it with a regular space, the display was fixed. See link for the screen grab:

Aside from non-breaking spaces, what other characters does ADE does not support (which displays the title incorrectly)?

Navigation Bar does not appear on website after upload

I use i-web to create my website, save it to a folder and then upload to the web using GoDaddy. For some reason, the navigation bar at the top of every page does not appear. Instead, there's a black dot to the left of the page. When in the i-web program NavBar is there and functions normally. I just redesigned my website and uploaded everything and had this problem. It's never happened before. Can anyone help?

NW2004s: 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN drag and drop: Navigation pane does not refresh

Hi together,
I am wondering what's up with the 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN in the WAD.
When I execute a query and use the drag and dorp functionality to make a drilldown of a free characteristic to a row, the navigation pane on the left side ist not updated. It still shows the characteristic in the tab for the free characteristics and not in the part for the rows. Even when I do this action via the contextmenu it does not work.
In the old 3.x template this update works fine (ok, obviously not with drag&drop
Any ideas?

Blocking a member of a group does not hide their m...

I'm part of a big community skype group of about 30+ people with about 3-4 people blocked because I did not want to see their messages anymore. Blocking them does not do anything - I can still see their messages and they can also see mine. It would be nice to receive some feedback on this or a fix for this in the future.

You can right click on their contact as select "hide conversation". Since you have a history with them you can't really obliterate that history with eliminating all your history. If you have an idea on how this should be improved upon, you can post your idea here: Windows (desktop client) Ideas

Location bar dropdown does not bring up web page

when I click the down arrow on the location bar to see the dropdown list of previous locations the list shows up but clicking on a link does not bring up the selected web site, also some of the sites on the list have garbled information ie: title of one page, address of another

"ADF Navigation List" does not shows all items that are in table

I am tring to use "ADF Navigation List" , (it can be draged from data control platte into a form)
but when i drag and drop it on my form it does not shows all items that are available in my table ?
it just shows 10 item when i have 60 record in my Table.

Navigation Handling does not work !!!!

hi every body
i have two pages Login.jsp and page1.jsp, i want to prevent direct access to page1.jsp unless the user first go to login page and redirected to page1.jsp.. so if the user paste the pathe of page1.jsp immedatily , the application will redirect him to login page.
i used the following code in pre-render method:
FacesContext context=FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
Application application=context.getApplication();
NavigationHandler navigator=application.getNavigationHandler();
navigator.handleNavigation(context,null, "insecure");-----
but unfortunately it does not work ,
can any one please help me ?

Dude,
Why not use a filter? It will save you having to add code to every page that requires a user to be logged in.
Try http://securityfilter.sourceforge.net/ for something comprehensive. Or if you just want something that just intercepts a request and checks if a user is logged in (e.g. if the username property in SessionBean1 is set) and redirects the user to the login page if not... it's pretty easy if you've worked with filters before.
Try it out and ask again if you want pointers.
