Global Operational settings is not found

Hi Team,
I am working on OSB 10.3.0 version. I tried to create the ALSBCustomization.xml file from one of our project Integration servers and tried to execute the same in my local setup. Once the execution done in my local, on console I am getting continuous error logs showing "global opertional settings" not found. When i searched in "create customization File" in my local. Surprisingly it is not showing "global operational settings" in "system" option. Now I have only 2 options.
1. Add the "global operational settings". (tried to create again and execute, but it is not working)
2. Remove the "ALSBcustomization.xml" (tried googling but still don't find an answer to execute the same)
Hope somebody here faced the same issue and I am looking eagerly for the solution. Expecting light fast and accurate replies from you experts.

This is what I have for JCS 6 setup (verified that it works as well):
Server tab:
Incoming mail server: mail.foobar.com port 143
Outgoing mail server: mail.foobar.com port 25
LDAP server (Global Address List): ldap.foobar.com port 389
LDAP server (User settings): ldap.foobar.com port 389
Address book server: convergence.foobar.com port 80
Calendar server: calendar.foobar.com port 8004
LDAP tab:
Search base: o=foobar.com,o=isp
VLV search filter is the default value
VLV sort attribute is cn
Require authentication is checked
User DN pattern is uid=%s,ou=people,o=foobar.com,o=isp
Retrieve user settings from LDAP should be checked
User DN pattern is the same as under 'Require authentication'
Address book tab:
Sun Java System Address Book Server Settings needs to have iwc/svc in the right hand side.
The server tab entry for address book server will automatically be on the left side of the field.

We are trying to integrate SRM 7.01 with ECC 6.0 EhP 6 using Web Services without using PI.
We have come accross blog "Transfer of central contract from SRM to ECC using Web Services without PI"

However we cannot find the link "Global System Settings". Is there any certain configuration we have missed?
Could it be the SLD (taken from the business system name) ?
Where do we set this up?

Hi Bala,
Are you putting anything in the Global SNP Setting Profile field. If Yes, you have to define the profile in SNP Customizing under Maintain Global SNP Settings. After defining, anyone of these is to be activated.

CO07 - got error Reference operation set DOOR not found

Hi PP Experts,
I'm unable to create prod order without material (transaction CO07).
The error says 'Reference operation set DOOR not found',
but I can't click the error to find the message number.
I checked that reference operation set DOOR has been created correctly.
Please give me some light.

Many thanks for all your suggestions.
The problem is now solved.
We use the unit SHE, this is actually the commercial of unit ZSH, you can see it if you check in CUNI.
The referenced operation set DOOR uses unit M3, but we do not have the same dimensiond in CUNI.
The unit M3 has dimensions VOLUME, but the ZSH has not been assigned any dimension so it get the default one AAAADL which is different, so the system can not convert the unit and the error happens.

[PWS0007] Operation result set not found.

Hi,
I am working with java,db2 on AS/400.
When I am using my application with multiple users hitting the submit at the same time,I am getting
the following error:
Exception: [PWS0007] Operation result set not found. Cause . . . . . : The handle specified for the operation result set to be filled, returned, or used as the based on result set is not found for the server.
Recovery . . . : Correct the operation result set handle and do the function again.
Can anybody please tell me what could be the problem?

problem could be
1)Resulsets objects are not closing after getting data (like end of rRrsultSet while loop)
2)it is better close statements and connection objects also.

Global SNP settings could not be read

Hello Gurus,
We are currently upgrading our system from SCM4.0 to SCM5.0.
Whenever I call SNP heuristics a message appears stating that "Global SNP settings could not be read" I have looked into the note 692369, however, we havent migrated to production yet.
Could anyone please help me on this?

Discussion Forum: Unable to perform the operation: Row was not found using

Hi all,
I deployed the Discussion Forum and it shows the Portlet with "Creating a product ..". Very fine.
I can create a Product. Fine also.
I can fill in a new Thread, but then, when I try to submit it, I get the error:
Unable to perform the operation: Row was not found using request parameter: 000100000004313437380000012A000000F8FE832E94.
When I click Cancel. I see the Overview of the Products. I drill down to the Threads for my Product and the new thread appears on the list. As soon as I click on the Thread in order to read it the following error appears:
Unable to perform the operation: Row was not found using request parameter: 0001000000043134373800000134000000F8FE832E94.

You need to set the Login Frequency (while registering the provider) to 'Once Per Session'. This will allow the portlet to track the user transaction state.
Make sure that you do not bounce the oc4j container in between the portlet operations, since this will leave the transaction into inconsistent state.
You have to ensure that whenever you bounce the oc4j container/provider mid-tier you logout of portal and login again.
This will solve the problem.

An operating system was not found.

Hi, While attempting to install Windows 8.1 my computer crashed and I now find that I have lost my C: and I get an error message saying 'AN OPERATING SYSTEM WASN'T FOUND.'I have a Windows 7 Repair Disk but am unable to restore my c: and Operating System.

Global security settings do not save

Hello,
I'm using Flash version 10,0,12,36 on a new XP Pro 64bit
system. We are running Flash projects from a network drive which
works just fine on 32bit systems by allowing folder permissions in
the Global Security Settings manager. These settings will not save
on the 64bit version. The only reason I can think of is that the
32bit "program files" directory is called "program files (x86)"
which may not be what the player is looking for when attempting to
save the setting.
Is there a way to fix this?

It's cause the SP 2 sux, change the security settings and try again, in MSIE you can do this under the Edit or Tools menu.

META-INF & adf-settings.xml not found ...

I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 .
I try to register my custom phase listeners to adf-settings.xml file .But it's not available in my View Controller project .
Meta-Inf folder & adf-settings.xml file will create default or not ? ...
I read the below post but I am not able to understand completely .....
Correct root XML node for adf-settings.xml?

HP Pavilion dv6500 Entertainment Notebook PC series Operating system not found

Hello to all how are you doing guys doing today I'm having a problem and need the help from the tech world. So i have a Hp Pavilion dv6500 cto notebook. I started it up and got a black screen stating "Operating System Not Found". I couldnt get into safe mode to recover back to a safe point, i was able to get into the bios system to do a memory and Hard drive test, my memory test came back as a Pass but my Hard drive came back as a fail and stated "Replace Hard Drive".
Now i went out bought a new WD 500GB 5400rpm hard drive for the laptop, i installed it and did a Hard Drive test to make sure it was good and the test came back as a Pass. Now i had this laptop for years since 2007 and it broke just a few months ago, i just got the new hard drive yestarday and was playing doctor last night. When i got the laptop as a gift i was only given a recovery disk which did boot up and gave me the install now option and repair computer option. I chose the install now option and it was starting to install but then got this error message "Windows cannot open the required file D:\Sources\Install.wim. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070002." I read that you cant install windows from a recovery disk so now im back to square one.
So current status is I got a new hard drive that pass the bios test, memory test was a pass. I have no windows disk other then the windows vista recovery disk i tried but failed to install windows. I also tried a windows 7 disk from work but the disk wouldnt boot up came back with a message stating that disk couldnt be read there may be problem with the cd dvd drive or hard drive, but when i put in the windows vista recovery disk that boot up no problem. i just cant install window with it. So Im stuck with a black screen stating no operating system is not found. Note that i havent change the boot up line up back to hard drive to see if it would boot up the new hard drive but i dought it would change anything since its a brand new hard drive with nothing on it.
If someone could help me with step by step like how to get an operating system on my new hard drive. My wife has a laptop but with no cd drive so i would need instruction to boot get it on the usb. Hope i was helpful with my problem.

You have only tried questionable disks. You could order a recovery disk from HP but I am not even sure they still have Vista recovery disks. You could also buy a Windows 7 OEM disk and try that. it will cost you a bit but will be legal. What version of Vista is it? You can also try to find a Vista install disk and use the Key Code on the bottom of the laptop if it is still legible. Operating system not found

I received notice to update my bios on my Qosmio 530. I followed the directions and this morning I got a message that the operating system was not found. I went into bios - changed a couple of items that I thought should be enabled and then I accepted system defaults to save.
Now I don't know if the bios worked. I'm doing my emails right now and when I'm done I will shutdown and start up again and see if I have the same problem. I hope not.

try unplugging the power cord and removing the battery then hold the power button for at least 30 seconds. reinstall the battery and try to start and see if it happens again. if this doesnt help try the same as before but this time just connect the power cord and try again. if still nothing try again and replace the battery and the power cord.
there is no one on here from toshiba. this is just a user's forum. just people like you giving the best information they have.

Hi Craig,
Thanks for quick response. There are two servers that can be used by the editor. In settings by mistake or by default, Apache web server was selected instead of Enginesite (same one whose editor I am using). And I think details of apache were not correct. either. I selected Enginesite's standalone server and it hasr started working fine.

Same (global) view settings for all EXISTING playlists (iTunes 10.3)

I guess some folks like to individually configure the columns of each and every of their playlists. But I like uniformity ... How can I apply global settings to all of my MANY existing playlists, like, let's say, Coverflow plus a certain selection of non-default columns.

Maybe I should add that I do know global view settings are NOT a feature of iTunes 10.3. So it's not a matter of "where is the button I have to click".
I also know that Apple Scripts exist as workarounds, but unfortunately I'm using Windows XP.
Therefore, it's a question for the real experts amongst you, as some serious iTunes-tweaking is involved, either in Windows Registry, or in some hidden config-file.
The most important question, though, is: why on earth are global view settings not a natural part of iTunes since Day One.

Application Deployment Evaluation - Force using WMI - %000123 "not found"

I am automating application install using Orchestrator which will deploy applications based on ticket being approved. This is working fine. I would like to force the Application Evaluation in the SCORCH Runbook.. using powershell or WMIC for SCCM 2012 R2

I have done this before :) But not sure whats going on this time.
The %000123 task for Application GLobal evaluation fails with "not found". Other tasks like %0001 work fine.

Global Settings - 'HTTP 404 - File not found'

Hello
I have some problems with the services-portlet in portal. When I click on the link to 'Global Settings' of the services-portlet a 'HTTP 404 - File not found' exception is displayed.
Additionally I have some problems on accessing the portal with ..../pls/portal. Sometimes it works, sometimes I have to use the direct access URL like ..../pls/portal/url/page/myPageGroup.
Can anybody help?

Hello again
I opened a TAR at metalink and got the help I needed.
Here the reason of this problem:
The Default home page specified in the Global Settings was deleted either through the GUI or directly from the tables, causing this error.
You can get a script from metalink to reset the default home page to Corporate Home page.
