Global Plan settings

My son is traveling to Italy for 3 weeks. I have him signed up for the $29.99 Global plan. Do I need to make any changes to the S4, specifically the "Global Data Roaming Access" which is currently set to "Deny data roaming access" or the "Network Mode" which is currently set "LTE/CDMA"?

When we gets there he would change it to Global and allow roaming. This will allow him to access the local GSM cellular carrier and its voice and data network.

While trying to run the plan continuosly from Plan Settings in Administrator link, i am getting the following error.Could anyone please help me out since its a high priority issue.

"ATP Categories" tab on the CTM:Global Customizing Settings screen

Hi All,
I want to understand the usage of the "ATP Categories" tab on the CTM:Global Customizing Settings screen (/SAPAPO/CTMCUST).
Where do we make use of the settings on this screen for the CTM run. The screen talks about the "Subsititute categories for PP/DS with" , "Planning are for SNP categories", "Subsitute categories for SNP with", etc. Pls elaborate the functionalities of these parameters. Any document on the same will be highly appreciated.

Based on my understanding the ATP tab does the equivalent of key figure function in a planning book for Heuristics. It helps CTM identify the various types of demand and receipt categories - to give a differential treatment to the same. It gives ability to also leverage many business-rule specific features/functionalities like substitution.CTM can be run for PPDS detailed planning and rought cut bucket planning for SNP. The planning functions of PPDS and SNP thus require different ATP categories for being able to discriminate between the two.

How do I find out if a change to my Global Plan was made?

I made a change to my global plan (effective 9-29). I was given a confirmation number, but find no way to determine if the change was actually made. How can I find out?

Any pending orders on the account would be listed within your notifications section when logging online to your My Verizon account. Flash Player 8 global security settings

I'm having some trouble with the global security settings in
Flash Player 8. I have deployed the player successfully using GPO,
but now have a piece of software (Nelson Thornes) that requires
content from c:\program files\nelson thornes to be allowed in order
to run. Manually enabling this using the settings manager works a
treat, however it only changes it for the current user and I can't
find any way of setting it per station so that I can package it up
and deploy it. I can't expect all of my users to do this
themselves.
Please tell me there's a way of doing this?!?!

There is an MMS.cfg file that you can deploy that will allow
you to
control this site wide without individual user interaction
(overriding
settings manager).

No Global security settings for my localhost, Help?

I develop flash apps in localhost and I receive that error
message:
Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potential unsafe operation
The following local application on your computer or network:
/Application/MAMP/htdocs/joomlagraf/modules/.../ssp.swf is

I beleive you can fix that in the Global security settings,
but this panel is absent when I right click on my flash movie. I
got —> Privacy/Local Storage/Microphone/Camera only, on a
fresh player 9 install.
How can I access that Global security settings panel, what
can I do???????????

Local Access Only allows the published SWF file to interact
with files on the local system, but not on the network. Access
Network Only lets the published SWF file interact with files and
resources on the network, but not on the local system.

Allowing Global Security Settings for Local Flash Content

Hi all,
We have developed one e-learning course for our client. This
course will be deployed on the CD; that means it will run locally.
This CD will be dstributed to thousands of users. In this scenario
I am currently suffering from the Global Security Settings issue as
this project uses Fscommand to communicate with the javascript. We
can set the Global Security mannually but it is not feasible to ask
client to mannaully set the Security Settings to "always" as there
are thousands of users viewing this course locally.
I have tried setting "always" value to allowScriptAccess
property of the Object/embed tag in the html but it does not work
where the browser Security Settings are kept as "High".(I think
this is the reason)
So what will be the workaround for this issue?
Please reply me if you gone through this problem and found
any workaround.

Cannot check Allow Third-Party Content from Global Storage Settings panel.

I cannot check the box that says Allow Third-Party Content To Store Data On Your Computer in the Global Storage Settings panel. I have seen many other people with this issues but they have either been unresolved or the resolutions to the problems do not work for me.
I am running
Windows XP SP2 32bit
Firefox 3.6.6 32 bit
Can somebody please help me resolve this issue?

When you open Windows Explorer, type %appdata% into the address bar, and it will take you to the location.
On Windows XP this is usually C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data
From there go down to the 'Adobe' and 'Macromedia' folders and delete the 'Flash Player' folder in each.

Global Plan for Iphone 4s Not Working in the UK

I signed up for the Global Plan prior to leaving the US. Now I am in the UK and I cannot get access to voice or messaging. I checked my account to ensure that I have it on my phone and the account information for my plan confirms that I do have it. How come I cannot access voice or messaging?
I cannot use the Chat on the Verizon Wireless website for some reason and I cannot call because I don't have access to a phone.

Same (global) view settings for all EXISTING playlists (iTunes 10.3)

I guess some folks like to individually configure the columns of each and every of their playlists. But I like uniformity ... How can I apply global settings to all of my MANY existing playlists, like, let's say, Coverflow plus a certain selection of non-default columns.

Maybe I should add that I do know global view settings are NOT a feature of iTunes 10.3. So it's not a matter of "where is the button I have to click".
I also know that Apple Scripts exist as workarounds, but unfortunately I'm using Windows XP.
Therefore, it's a question for the real experts amongst you, as some serious iTunes-tweaking is involved, either in Windows Registry, or in some hidden config-file.
The most important question, though, is: why on earth are global view settings not a natural part of iTunes since Day One.

Some Flash Player users are seeing what is basically a
failure in Flash
Player detection caused by an obscure Microsoft permissions
bug. We
updated the Flash Player uninstaller two weeks ago to
hopefully resolve
this type of situation. Please do the following and report
back what
happens:
1. Read " How to uninstall the Macromedia Flash Player
plug-in and
ActiveX control" (
http://www.macromedia.com/go/tn_14157)
2. Download the 'regular' uninstaller in that technote to
your desktop
(uninstall_flash_player.exe). Do NOT run it from the server.
Save it to
disk.
3. QUIT ALL RUNNING APPLICATIONS, INCLUDING ALL INTERNET
EXPLORER
WINDOWS AND AIM, Yahoo, MSN or other MESSENGERS.
4. Run the saved uninstaller (uninstall_flash_player.exe)
from your desktop
5. REBOOT THE MACHINE (This step is very important!)
6. Launch Internet Explorer.
7. Go to
http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer
and reinstall.
I cannot guarantee that just this will completely resolve the
issue. But
we keep working at it, so let me know what happens either

Texts from Verizon Every 15 Minutes While on Global Plan

Can't contact Verizon on problem with Global Plan via email? It's 3:25PM PDST and no one available via Chat. It costs $0.99/minute to call 800 # and wait on line, so I don't want to go that route. Why am I getting Verizon texts that read "VZWNMN:1" every 15 minutes since I arrived in Germany 2 days ago?

Cannot check boxes in Global Storage Settings

When I go to the Global Storage Settings panel online I am unable to check the box "Allow third party Flash content to store data on your computer"
Because of this I can not use many Websites that require flash. I can use youtube and hulu, but not pandora or tv websites like comedy central.
I have the latest version of Flash, and this happens in any Web browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) that I try. I am on MAC OS X.
Any help please!

That's interesting. I thought maybe if I trashed the preferences I too could fix my problem--which is the opposite of
yours/hers. I want to UNCHECK 3rd Party Content Storage, which is greyed out on the Flash Settings Manager
online. However, with OS X 10.9.3 in neither Library, the separate one nor in the System file, under "Caches" is there anything for Adobe. However, you, Katie, don't say which version of OS X you're using.
If clearing your preferences did it for you, it maybe that you had some older preferences in your cache and
deleting them may have put you into the same situation several of us have found ourselves in.
With this latest version of Flash, we're not able to UNCHECK 3RD PARTY CONTENT STORAGE.
Thus you didn't have to go back to check or enable it for your needs.
Meanwhile, the rest of us are stuck with it or we have to disable flash.
It'a also interesting to note, that under any of the Flash preferences on my computer, where there could/should
be websites listed where I have allowed storage, or whatever, there is NOTHING listed. The same is true for the online
Flash Player Settings Manager. ?????

SOAMANAGER "Global System Settings" link not found

Dear Sirs,
We are trying to integrate SRM 7.01 with ECC 6.0 EhP 6 using Web Services without using PI.
We have come accross blog "Transfer of central contract from SRM to ECC using Web Services without PI"
by Naveen Rajan.
However we cannot find the link "Global System Settings". Is there any certain configuration we have missed?
Could it be the SLD (taken from the business system name) ?
Where do we set this up?

Hi Bala,
Are you putting anything in the Global SNP Setting Profile field. If Yes, you have to define the profile in <b><i>SNP Customizing under Maintain Global SNP Settings</i></b>. After defining, anyone of these is to be activated.
