  • Flash Player 10.1 vs 10.2 - there is a one global problem

    Hello,
I'm writing here because of possibly global problem associated with update Flash Player from v 10.1 to v 10.2.
Just after upgrading it, I've notified graphics inconveniences.
FPS in my program from 30/30 in v 10.1 comes down to 12/30 in v 10.2, which makes it useless.
All the 90 people which I was talking about that, told me that's not only in here. They've notify the same problem.
There was few low CPU clock's (1.2GHz), but the problem appears with the better ones too (~3.2GHz).
Hardware acceleration doesn't make any different.
I've finally just downgrade Flash Player to v 10.1 so I can work with it normally.
There's a question: Will it be fixed in version 10.3? Have you seen that kind of reports, do you know what could be wrong?
Maybe my program needs change to fit with the new version of Flash player? What should I do?
    Greetings.
PS: I'm sorry for my punctuation in English!

We have the same bug in our flash media app. Our customer service area is
getting lots of people complaining about the problem.
If anyone gets a solution please pm me or post in here as this is getting urgent.

  • VRF - Global problem

I provide my customers an ethernet port off my PE (ie: FastEthernet0/0 on PE from configuration below).  They can connect whatever they want into the port.  Most times it's simply a PC.  The only thing they expect to get off that port is Internet access.
I'm trying to stick all these users into a VRF called INTERNET, but I'm having some trouble getting the global table to see the networks that I'm assigning to my customers (ie: 5.0.0.0/30 from the PE config below).
Near as I can tell, the VRF knows about the default gateway and the global table knows how to reach 5.0.0.0/30, but for some reason, there's no connectivity and I'm not sure how to begin troubleshooting this.
    Anyone have any pointers?

Route leakage between global/VRF is not allowed on multi-access interfaces like ethernet.
Few common solutions to the problem you are facing -
    1. put the internet interface on router P in a VRF lets say ISP, and use the conventional vpnv4 import/export between INTERNET and ISP VRFs.
    2. use VRF NAT  on PE
    3. use other methods to leak routes - e.g. cable loop,  gre based leakage etc.

  • Global problem with immediate="true"

JSF specifies that immediate="true" in UICommands should skip the Validation and Update Model phases.
The RI uses the Update Model phase to reset the local values of the input components after updating the model. That means that in the case of immediate="true", the local values are not reset, and thus saved by the state manager.
The problem is that the next display of the page shows the previously entered values, instead of getting the values from the model, which is somewhat strange for a 'cancel' button.
I think this is mainly a problem with the spec which clearly indicates that the clearing of the local values should be done in the update model phase.
Is it possible to have a workaround for this ?

the previous posts have been made long ago, but I'll give it a try:
I think this behavior is still buggy or at least not logical.
    Example:
I've got a dataTable which shows a list of entries, each row with an "edit" commandButton and a "new" commandButton below the list.
If the user clicks an "edit" button, he is redirected to the "details" page where he can edit and save the values of this entry. This works as expected. But: On the "details" page, there's also a "cancel" button, which should navigate to the list again, without doing any validation or updating.
If I set this "cancel" button to "immediate", navigation works, but then I'll always see the values of the canceled entry, regardless of which "edit" button I click in the list.
If the "cancel" button is not immediate, validation fails when the user clicks "new" and then "cancel", because he gets an empty form, but some or all fields are required.
    There are two workarounds:
    1) Creating two different views, one for creating a new entry and one for editing.
    2) The "cancel" button is a simple html-button, with the "onlick='location.href=xxxyyy'" attribute.
IMHO both workarounds are ugly. So, why is the view ignoring that there is a complete different entry object in the backing bean of the "details" input fields???
BTW: I'm using JSF SUN RI 1.1.01 (same with 1.2 current snapshot).
With MyFaces, everythings works but it has some other bugs, so I want to stick to the Sun RI.
    Thanks,
    Walter

  • Synching Treo 700wx (Sprint) using a DigiCert Global Problems

Does anyone know if DigiCert certificates are approved certificates?  Though we have it loaded to the root, we continue to get the "The Exchange Server requires certificates to log on.  Connect your device to your PC on the corporate network to obtain a certificate."  We can make the synch work if I'm USB connected, but it won't work when disconnected.  Any advice, direction, hints & tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi r1hodges,
I can't remember the specific error you are seeing, but I know the 700wx will work with our certificates.  I'm the CTO here at DigiCert, and just found your post a few days late while searching in Google.  Working through problems like this can sometimes be difficult over a forum, so would you be willing to give me a call using our 800 number?  You can call 1-800-896-7973 and ask for me.  Most of our support team should also be able to help you work through this problem as well.  You don't have to be the person who bought the certificate in order to call, our team will help you get it working without any hassle.

  • Update Parent Items Prices Globally Problem

I am trying to run the Update Parent Item Prices Globally but keep getting an error.
No Parent Item prices to be updated found [message 65020-3]
    This is running on 2007A SP:00 PL:06
When I look at the BOM I can see that the total of the components is different than the parents price.  If I click the arrow it updates fine.  But I need to be able to run the global update as there are hundreds of parents.

See if I am doing it right?
I have 200 parent parts with price list BOM loaded as the price list in their parent records. I have another 1200 parts with Purchased Price loaded as the price list in their records.
When I run the global update for the  Purchased Price parts it runs and gives me a list of those parts it is going to update.
When I run the global update for the BOM parts I get the message No Parent Item prices to be updated found message 65020-3.
I know that a number of these parts need to be updated.  When I look at the Bill of Material I can see that the sum of the component prices is different than the parents price.  If I click on the arrow on the display it updates the price. However due to the volume of parts thie manual process is not an option.

    Hi,
I am a software developer, I am interested to learn SAP, I went through several tutorials over the Internet and found that SAP is quite easy and interesting software product, I started learning it, now I need a trail/developer version to practically install and test enhance my SAP skills.
For that reason I made an account at http://www.sdn.sap.com and tried to download SAP, but there are two issues.
    1) I am not really sure what package I should download as a beginner developer?
    2) When I try to download "SAP NetWeaver CE 7.2 - Server (size on disc 2.044.489.728 bytes)" it gave me following error message:

Seems like they have block Pakistan access to the downloadable content, how rude they are, Siemens and other SAP training academies have these content only, so we have to pay them 6000 EUR to get the training and the materiel, how rude. Well I come with a solution, to get the required thing downloaded just
Now the solution, how to fool the ban and get it downloaded:
    1. Search ultrasurf proxy on Google
    2. Download it install it
    3. Run it, and download it with a USA IP address
    Smart People Smart Solutions
I get is downloaded in a different way, I have a server hosted in USA, I took remote desktop to that server and get it downloaded from there, then get it downloaded to my local machine in Pakistan using FTP.
But I am still feeling why they mistreat Pakistani people how rude they are.

  • Performance problem with GotoDate

    hi everyone!
we're facing a performance issue when looking at historical data based on GotoDate().
The following points apply to our case:
    - the problem only appears for one specific table, it's not a global problem (at least we currently only found this table to cause problems)
    - the problem only appears when using GotoDate(). When using GotoSavepoint(), performance is as expected.
    - Explain plan is the same for both Savepoints and GotoDate() (which is probably as expected, as only the session context changes?)
While a select takes < 0.1s when working on LATEST or any Savepoint it takes something between 30s and 150s when working on a date.
Any hints what could cause that problem? The table contains base data, thus it changes rarely.
Unfortunately the data in there is quite important and connected to several other tables and processes within our application. So for our customer analyzing historical data is currently extremely slow.
    kind regards,

it's been a while since we've been looking into this issue, but it's still there. We finally got a trace, maybe that already helps to see where something might go wrong?
What we were doing to reproduce the problem was this (some names changed as they contain customer information):
    execute dbms_wm.gotoworkspace('TestWorkspace');
    execute dbms_wm.gotodate('02082013120000', 'mmddyyyyhh24miss', null, false);
    select * from parameter;
And here is the trace for the relevant part:

If I interprete the output correctly, filtering the rows takes ages. I do not understand why that is, though.
EDIT: well, now I see the optimizer mode ALL_ROWS. Does that mean system statistics are missing and the CBO can't work correctly? A quick try-out using
    select /*+ opt_param('optimizer_index_cost_adj',20) */ * from parameter;
shows alot better performance (~0.8s for selecting the 256 rows)
    Kind regards,

  • Guitar Rig 3 problems :(

I am using an iMac with 2Gb RAM and 1.83 dual Intel processors that hasn't had any problems before, and now when using GR3 (Rig Kontrol edition) on a number of tracks in Logic Pro 8, for no apparent reason, I am getting loads of pops, clicks, etc. when recording. If I record a guitar part without it then put it on the track with GR3 on, the clicks, etc. don't appear - only when I record using GR3. There are not loads of tracks playing, around 8.
I have a Metric Halo Mobile I/O ULN-2 and have the Rig Kontrol connected simply by USB and use the MH as the soundcard.
Does anybody have any idea how to get round this? GR3 sounds so much better than Guitar Amp Pro (for what I want) but I can't really use it
Oh, I record in 24-bit, 44.1Khz. 128 buffer size (although tried at a number of settings to fix this). Software monitoring. Medium process buffer range. Not sure if anything else might help identify the problem!
    Any help welcome!

I would start by trying the i/o 2 with garageband in another user account to find out if it's a local or global problem.
Then with the alesis plugged in make sure that all your settings in the audio/midi setup utility are correct for the device.
A class compliant device means if they build the interface to a agreed upon spec it will be recognized and be able to use the apple driver (core audio). It did work because you were able to use it and change it's function when making it part of aggregate device.

  • Global Calendar Changes Affecting Project Calendars

How do you prevent Global Calendar changes from changing the Project Calendars? When Project Calendars are created, they are copied from another calendar, say Global Calendar. Now, when the Global Calendar is updated or changed it changes my Project Calendar. How do you prevent this from occurring?

If the change to the Global Calendar is valid, it IS going to impact all local schedules. The Global Calendar is the basic Enterprise assumption. It is what contracts are written around.
If the projects are using a Global Calendar they are going to forecast the calendar, but a resource's calendar can allow performing a task anytime in the operational plan. That is the nature of high level settings and local or operational variants. Project execution is not nailed to the Global Calendar, Your original schedule forecasted from the Global structure and was accepted. If experience leads you to make change in the Global Calendar, that is reality. You will forecast the added knowledge gained from experience and set in the Global Calendar. If it creates Risk in the existing projects, deal with it locally. You record dynamic adjustments in the Actuals. You forecast local results from to-date actuals and local resource calendars. Management 'is' overcoming Global problems with local resources.
Leave the Global Calendar alone for operational exceptions. Remove exceptions from the Global Calendar. The Global Calendar is for planning. That Global Calendar is still the basic assumption, despite operational problems in your schedule. If the Global Calendar has a holiday, the projects it is assigned to forecast the holiday. Simplify your Global Calendars to match basic, high-level, factual assumptions.
Let your Resource Calendars forecast the detail of operations and overcome the Global Calendar. But actualize what happens no matter what any calendar says so calculation is up to date.
Calendars are strictly for calculation, for forecasting. You can always log progress on Christmas or during Ramadan, just as you logged no progress during the hurricane. But Joe Labor Unit will not forecast performing his task in NYCNY on even a regular Monday if his calendar has him training in Borneo. Cancel Joe's trip and change his calendar. He is available in NYCNY on the date you want now. His forecast changes, the project forecast changes. Primavera is perfectly dynamic. And the project will not forecast work on Christmas or during Ramadan if the Global Calendar says these are exceptions to your usual M-F 8-5 with an hour for lunch. Global Calendars are the sub-structure that we accept in building the initial, accepted Project Schedule and that provide the framework we analyze Risk mitigation around in operations.
"We're forecasting a late finish now due to the hurricane." "Schedule the workforce to work through the Christmas holidays." (adjust, adjust, adjust) "That brought completion in." The Global Calendar assumes no hurricanes and getting Christmas off. After the hurricane, the PM sets the operational guideline. The Scheduler adjusts the resource calendars to overcome the hurricane period's lost progress. As soon as the As-built has the adjustments, the schedule calculates and forecasts completion on time. The workforce is not scheduled to work Christmas in the Global Calendar. In their Resource calendars, now they are. The schedule forecasts work at Christmas. You mitigated the hurricane risk by overriding the Global Calendar with Resource Assignments. If you make those Resource Calendar Christmas adjustments in September when the hurricane hit, you will forecast project completion on time in the next report from P6. You pull completion back to the left after operational realities pushed it out to the right.
The original schedule is Art- planning, compromise and commitment. The ongoing fine-tuning and manipulation of As-built detail makes Art a Masterpiece by giving the heartbeat of the project and implementing the vision of its manager. Or not..

  • Problems Repackaging

I am a designer using InDesign CS3. I save the assignments as an InCopy Package and then upload it to our project server. One of the editors then downloads it to their hard drive and makes their edits. They are have problems (crashing) when they try to repackage the assignment for inCopy and upload it again to the project server. (No one is working directly on the project server) I don''t know if the problem is passing assignments from one editor to another before it comes back to the designer as an InDesign Package. Or if after every edit it needs to come back to the designer so I can update and repackage it in InDesign for the next editor.
This hasn't been a global problem that I can recreate. And of course the problem is happening in a remote office so I can't directly trouble shoot the problem.
Has anyone run into this before?
Would setting up a Version Cue server help?
    Thanks,
    Sharon

The editor should be able to make an assignment package for another editor without crashing; they don't have to return to the designer first.
At what point does it crash for the editor? Does it crash if he/she choose Return to InDesign? Have they made sure all the stories are checked in first (not entirely necessary but just in case). And make sure they deleted the original package you sent them ("assignment.incp") before repackaging it; perhaps their system is pitching a fit because it finds the same-named file there?
I would try sending out the same package from ID to another remote editor and see if the same thing happens to them when they try to package it up.
I'd also make sure that the remote editor hadn't moved any files around or renamed them on their end, before doing the package thing.

  • IMac Late 2012 video problem?

I received my new 27" iMac last week. I've upgraded about everything.
Today I started working for a project in AE CS6 and was surpised by horizontal lines in the preview during RAM playback.
It looks like there is some sort of refreshing problem with the screen. I created a similar animation in Premiere to see if it is a global problem, but no errors there (also when playing videos in quicktime full screen there are no problems). On the images you can see the effect.
When I leave my RAMrender playing, a 'glitch-line' seems to move up every 30 seconds.
Does anyone have similar problems / experience?
    These are my systems specs:
Processor  3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory  32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB
    After Effects CS6
    Thanks,
    Jean-Paul de Win

  • Good For Enterprise has problems in opening attachments

Anyone got such a issue from your GOOD users? Seem like a global problem if you search thru the GOOD forum. If the attachments can open they can open well. But if they cannot open, they really cannot open. Either the attachment will seemingly hang for a long time in opening, or there will be an error message with an OK button as below:
    Attachment Error:
Cannot download document.ext. Contact your IT administrator if the problem persists. [OK]
This happens even on the latest GFE Client version for Android 3.0.0.415.
This issue been reported since few years back but until now no confirmed solution from GOOD it seems. Anyone has any proven solutions to share?
This topic first appeared in the Spiceworks Community

    YIKES!!!!!
I have been trying to get Good for Enterprise to work on my Thundebolt, but during the installation I received a pop up that said my data plan was not compatible.  I read the thread above and thought this would be an easy solution, but when I called Verizon they told me I would now have to upgrade my data data plan at an additional cost of $15 per month!
I told the customer service person that I have Good on my AT&T iPhone now (with no additional charge) and had it on my Sprint EVO4G (with no additional charge), but she was insistent I would have to pay an additional $15 per month.
I'll likely return the phone, as paying an additional $15 per month for the "privilege" of getting work e-mails on my personal phone is a little maddening!

  • Mac App Store Apple ID review problem

I want to use Mac App Store, but when I review my account, even though I enter the correct credit card number, it says invalid credit card number for New Zealand. Can someone please help me out. Thanks

It seems to be a global problem, so it's not just you.
https://discussions.apple.com/message/17769977?ac_cid=142432#17769977 is another thread with other people with the same problem.
I'm sure it will be fixed soon.
