I had bought my iPhone 5s from US around 3-4 months ago n there is some the problem in charging slot .Will my phone covers warranty in India or should i wait as i am going back in next 2-3 months???

The difference is the cellular components in the device.
If your friend had a cellular iPad from the U.S., likely they would not have repaired it in Hong Kong.

It doesn't matter if it was unlocked. It still must be returned to Canada for repairs, either in warranty or out of warranty. That's the reason it's a bad idea to buy an iPhone in a different country than the one you plan to use it in.

Lenovos website + maintenance center says warranty valid, metafore says its not.

They claim the warranty information you gave them says the warranty is invalid. I'm having an issue with my display having dark blotches at the bottom, which does not occur when using another monitor, and is clearly a panel issue.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have purchased a Toshiba Laptop R630-14T from One of your Authorised Dealers from Gulf, Achiever Computers LLC, Ak Ain Centre, Dubai on the 20th of February, 2011 vide Invoice No. R-5876 by paying AED 3,350. At the time of purchase, i was informed by their Executive Mr. Sandeep that the Laptop contains International Warranty and that i shall have no problems in India. But on contacting Toshiba India, i have been informed that the warranty is not valid in India.
I am disappointed and feel cheated since i have clarified this issue not once but thrice with the Executive.
Please do the needful and help me sort out the issue.

Satellite R630-14T is EMEA (Europe Middle East Nord Africa) notebook and it is always offered with EMEA warranty only. Unfortunately I must confirm that this EMEA region warranty is not valid worldwide.

Nope. You'll only be able to get the phone serviced in the US...no one will touch it in India.

Global address validation is not working

In the current situation, requirement is on Global Address Validation.
I consider that for BO DQ to run for Global Address Validation County, Street related data, City, Postal_Code and Region, these 5 fields are required. But while maintaining data for international user postal_code and Region field information is missing because of which record cannot be validated (i.e other related data cannot be pop up )with the Data Quality tool, also i cannot list out countries whose region and postal codes are not available.
so how can i validate the record on the basis of remaining three fields ie. Country, Street related data and City. Inputting these fieldsu2019 value Postal_code and Region field should also be populated and validated.

This is what I have for JCS 6 setup (verified that it works as well):
Server tab:
Incoming mail server: mail.foobar.com port 143
Outgoing mail server: mail.foobar.com port 25
LDAP server (Global Address List): ldap.foobar.com port 389
LDAP server (User settings): ldap.foobar.com port 389
Address book server: convergence.foobar.com port 80

VLV search filter is the default value

Require authentication is checked

Address book tab:
Sun Java System Address Book Server Settings needs to have iwc/svc in the right hand side.
The server tab entry for address book server will automatically be on the left side of the field.

I bought iPhone 5 in Singapore in May '13 and then moved to India . The phone worked well in India till end Sep'13. But in Oct '13, while auto installing 7.0.3, the phone started hanging and the signal went for "search " forever. I tried to reset the phone to factory settings and everything went blank. It is stated that the IMEI number has been greyed out in the phone and only Apple Singapore can fix it.
Apple India refused to touch the phone as it was bought in Singapore. Tried with online support without any success till now. I am unable to send the phone to Singapore for repair - as it cannot be send by courier by individuals and Apple Singapore service does not accept over courier.
Tried online support and but it did not work
Please suggest option to repair and make the phone usable in India.
Regret for having bought iPhone at Singapore.

1.What is the purpose of iPhone Restore option in iCloud / iTune ? if it user cannot do in such instances
2.Why should the IMEI number get "greyed" after a use of 6 months?
3.Why should a Apple working product fail when updating a new version of the software?
Surely points 1 to3 above are shortcomings of Apple software and its product. Such HIGH priced premium product needs much more reliability. Apple should consider global warranty specifically for people who travel -else the problem will erode its market share. Apple competition too have the same issue.
Having stated the above, I sincerely regret going in for a Apple product and that too buying in Singapore. I have learnth a hard and extremely costly lesson

So if you moved to the U.S. and the MacBook Air was purchased in the U.S., the warranty would be valid there (assuming all other warranty conditions are met; e.g., purchased within the past year). Otherwise, the warranty is not valid.
