Glow.aex cannot be loaded. How do I fix?

Whenever I apply Glow to an adjustment layer, a popup up says "After Effects Error: plug-in "Glow.aex" could not be loaded", although it is in my effects and presets. I have provided screenshots to further explain my problem.

First, go to Help>About and make sure you're running version 13.2.0.49
If not, update.
That sort of error usually means something has gone awry with a plugin. In this case, it's one of the core plugins for AE and not an odd third-party one. Thus, it usually means something is fouled up with your install. I think uninstalling and reinstalling AE may be your only solution.
Alternatively, (and I'm assuming you're on CC 2014 or version 13.2) you could try installing a different version of AE like version 12 or 11 and then copying the glow plugin from that version into the current one. However, if it's borked one thing, it's likely got issues with more than just that.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Suddenly, after years of workin in Lightroom 3 on same computer (PC OS is Windows 7), thumbnails will not load. Some will, but seemingly randomly, 95% of them will not from any of numerous external drives nor PC drive. loading ...... keeps showing on thumbnails with no images. HT4059 i paid for a book, which i was reading, and now the book icon shows "paused" and i cannot open it. how do i fix this?

i have been using ibooks on my ipad. one of the books i downloaded and had been reading is now showing 'paused" and i cannot access it.

Have you tried deleting the book and then redownloading it via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app ? If it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that ibook and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

Live bookmarks fail to load How do I fix this without have to re-bookmark all my blogs?

After installing Firefox 4, all my live bookmarks have failed to load. The only fix I can determine is to re bookmark each one.

I suggest to copy all your files in your external drive to your Macbook and reformat that external drive to Mac OS Extended Journaled or exFat.
Once you've done that - then copy all the files back to your external drive.
Do not format your external drive if you haven't copied whats in your external drive. You'll lose everything.

hello, this is currently a problem in firefox when you first close all open firefox windows and then close the application afterwards - the bug should be addressed in a later version of firefox.
as a workaround in the meanwhile you could close firefox (through firefox > quit) while the browser window is still running or try this: enter about:config into the firefox location bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named '''browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash'''. double-click it and change its value to '''false'''.
