Glowing orbs NOT shown for open applications mac os x lion AFTER 10.7.2 update

been experiencing this weird bug ever since i updated to the 10.7.2,applied the thunderbolt display update(10/27) and the imac firmware update (10/27) When i click to open/launch applications,the glowing orbs are not shown underneath the open applications. when i log out or restart the problem is temporarily fixed.Has anybody else experienced this as well or have a fix for it? thank you in advance!

I've also noticed this. In my case, it's odder than what you describe.
When I close the last window for an app (like Mail or TextEdit) but do not quit the app, and then switch focus to another app (like Safari or even Finder), sometimes the indicator light remains lit like it should (since I have not quit the app) but other times it goes out.
When I check in Activity Monitor, the app is still shown as being active even though its indicator light is not lit. The unlit but active app is also not available via app switcher (Command-Tab).
If I go back to the app by clicking its icon in the Dock, it loads fast; if I then quit it, it disappears from Activity Monitor like it should.
Seems to be a Limbo status at play.
And, yes, Dock prefs are set to show indicator lights.
I don't have a solution.

I see printer drivers from Canon for that printer for OS X 10.7. but not scanner drivers. If the MF4140 is not recognized by the Image Capture application and Canon technical support cannot offer any assistance, all I can think of to suggest is to try a third-party scan application such as VueScan:

They offer a free trial period so you can see if it works with your Canon.

Handle not valid for open spool request

Hello everyone,
i am facing an error while clicking the print preview option in change PO (me22n).
i have given the dispatch time in further data of o/p as 'Send with application own transaction'.
now, when i save and click print preview button i get an error as
"Handle not valid for open spool request"
Kindly give me some idea how to tackle this.

Debugger not working for BSP application

Hi All,
I have 4.6C sap installation and the debugger is not working for BSP Application even when i hard code the break points.

Hi Shilpa,
How many number of sessions are open ? If there are already six sessions open and then you try and get the debugger, it will not start, and you won't be able to catch that error also...!
Other than that there is no possibility that the debugger doesn't start, unless ofcourse, the logic doesn't reach the debugger point....

Command, Tab option not showing all open applications

Hi,
Just upgraded to Mountain Lion and now when using the combination of Command+TAB not all open applications are displayed.
This seems like a bug or am I missing something

I want to add to list as having same issue... Even core Apple programs not showing up (Safari, iPhoto) in Command Tab. But Mail, iCal do show up in Command + Tab. Also noticed that only some applications "minimize window into the application icon", while others get minimized to bottom right of Dock. Additionally no "Show indicator lights for open application" appears for those missing programs. I attempted to select-unselect both of those in the Preferences -> Dock options and restart a few times, with no success.
The same programs missing from Command + Tab are also missing a graphic icon in Dashboard view (only Application Name appears).
Issue is new to OS X Mountion Lion, I did not have that problem before.

Doesn't play songs, "itunes is not configured for use with mac-formatted"??

Hi, new ipod shuffle. Seems to charge fine, all indicator lights function as expected. Everything looks fine in itunes. But it doesn't play songs. I have the most recent versions of itunes and the ipod software. Re-set, updated, and restored, nothing works. Even restored using the restore utility. Re-started computer. Checked for volume control. Won't play songs. Tried different file types. Songs play fine from itunes library and from the device's library within itunes. Tried different headphones. Hooked it up to computer speakers. Turning volume all the way up on device and speakers, heard some very faint rhythmic static, so my guess is the jack socket (or whatever you call it) is just messed up, but it seems weird that it can transfer power and data to the device but doesn't work for sound...
The only other issues that have come up is that the drive disappears in explorer once it syncs with itunes. Other people who've noticed this seem to have completely different problems so I don't think it's related.
Also, I have MacDrive on my computer. And when it starts up with the ipod plugged in, MacDrive offers the message "Itunes is not configured for use with Mac-formatted ipods." It offers to automatically reconfigure itunes so it can read mac-formatted ipods. Since I've restored the device, I don't see why formatting should be an issue so I say "no."
Should I try letting macdrive do its format thing? Should I try formatting the ipod disk on the My Computer menu? Or should I just email apple and tell them the jack's busted?

Well, I have had my iPod for about 3 years, it is a 4th generation non-video 40 GB. One day it just stopped working, and now it does not play any songs. when I turn it on it makes this odd whirring sounds that computers make when they try really hard to do something. I cannot charge it, and it is not recognized by iTunes. Also when I turn it on, I get the apple.com/ipod/support (or whatever it is) screen. Needless to say, my warranty is expired, and so I cannot do anything for it except get a new battery, or buy a new one. Is there any way to fix this problem, or anyone out there who is experiencing the same thing?
I'm having the exact same problem with my wife's iPod. However it will play about 3 seconds of a song and go onto the next song.
If there is anyone out there that can help please do!

I created(shared services) the one user in the ldap not in native directory, i given provision in such a application to user ...
i try to login that user but the message was displayed " *Logged on user is not provisioned for this application*"

have you given authority in the application groups for the different profiles for that specific user too?
a common error is giving a user right on the application and omitting to give it in application groups in shared services.

"Resume" - does not go off or configure this feature in (System Preferences / General / Images of recent objects ...) The problem is that the "Resume" eats a lot of memory because it is impossible to work a "nightmare." Bring quality and performance that has been in OS X Snow Leopard!!!

Bluetooth not supported for emulated applications?

This is a quote I received from a tech support group recently, and I'm trying to find out if this is true or not:
"Bluetooth on Intel based Macintosh system is not supported by Mac OS X for emulated applications"
So if we want to make use of Bluetooth, are we out of luck if the application is not a universal binary?
This is part of a running discussion I'm having with the Lego company regarding the Bluetooth capabilities of their new Mindstorms NXT robot kit. I'm aware of the issues of my specific case and I'm pursuing this with them based on an install of their software on an XP machine, but I'm wondering about the accuracy of their general statement above.

Why exactly are you trying to pair your iPhone with your Macbook Bluetooth, if it is for transferring any Data via bluetooth then that won't work as iPhone's bluetooth can only be used for Tethering (Internet) on your Macbook Pro

Not able to open application in two browsers at a time

I am using jdev 11.1.2.0
I am running my application in the WLS 10.3.5
I am not able to open two instances of the application in two browsers at one time.
Please suggest the cause for this

Here I am trying to open my application in mozilla and IE.
My jspx page contains different jsff's that are in turn used to show/modify data.
This was working fine(i.e opening in two browsers) until I added a jsff to the page that uses ADS.
