Gmail calender

i just upgraded from bold to z10. I did not realize that z10 you could not sync contact and calender like you could with bold phone. Instead i now have to use gmail. i am receiving sending email. my contacts are the same of outlook gmail and phone. My calender on the phone when you go to look at it show wheel that is turining and then will jsut not do anything . i figure it would take a while to synce but is been 24 hours and still doing this. it eating the battery alive also

Are you using the Google Sync utility to sync your gmail calendar with the BlackBerry calendar? Does your gmail email not sync also?

Share a Gmail calender ?

Me and my wife each have a iPhone, a 3G and 3GS. We both have a Gmail account and I have created a calender, that I want to share with my wife. I have added my wife to my calender, and when she log into Gmail (on the computer), she can see my calender.
But when using her iPhone she can't see my calender !
I have also tried to create another calender, so that I have two calenders, but on my own iPhone, I can only see the first one I created, not the new one.
What can be wrong ?

I don't use the service, but you might look at a google calendar or other online calendar. Keep it separate from the Apple Id's but set up a new online account with this calendar and then make sure all 3 devices can access it.
There's also google documents but again, a service I don't use. Just something you can look into.

How do I import gmail calender to icloud?

I exported my gmail calendar from my mac but cannot find where to import into icloud so I can use it on my I5. Where is the import icon?

Looks like the email address one is for iCloud. iCal preferences shows a server address and path p02-caldav.icloud.com/plus an identifying number I will not repeat here. The port is auto and use SSL is checked.
If I uncheck "on my Mac" and leave the iCloud one checked, the calendar goes away.
Any ideas?

Gmail Calender Sync Issue

Hey all, suddenly I can no longer sync between my computer and handheld. It goes the other way; computer to handheld, but not the other. Tried logging out and back in but no good, pulled the battery & no good. Any ideas? thanks, John

Can't connect to gmail & yahoo (calender)

hmm, Since installing mountain lion, my connection with Gmail calender got lost. Yahoo calender also won't work. Gmail calender also dissapeared from ICloud.
Any idea?

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If nothing above helped, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

Additionally, if options provided by demmo86rt do not resolve your calendar issues you can try to remove your Gmail account from your phone and then re-add your Gmail account.

Gmail contacts/calendar/notes not updating to phone

Hi, my iphone 4 was replaced yesterday. I'm now trying to set up my contacts from Gmail. I know how to do this but it just hangs. Mail has uploaded fine but not the contacts, calendar or notes. I've tried to do this individually, hence how I know email is working, but the contacts/calendars/notes don't seem to want to play nice. Please help.

If you want the calendar entries that you create on the phone to sync with the gmail, you need to create the entry in the gmail calendar on the phone. If you create it in the phone calendar, it is only on the phone.
Usually at the very top of the new event entry you have a choice of which calendar to create this event in. Either Phone, gmail or any other option you have synced to your phone. To get it to sync to the gmail calendar you need to select the gmail calender.

when re-adding gmail account, i get taken to a google link that asks for "blackberry internet would like to" have offline access
Once when i got directed to this site, it had more options like access contacts and calendar, but now it only requests offline access.

Outlook 07 Calender sync issues

Hello all
I have spent about 2 hours trawling the internet looking for an answer to my problem, and though several other people seem to be experiencing it I can not find a solution.
My Outlook was synching fine with my BB until a few weeks ago when all the future appointments were deleted from Outlook, though remain on my BB Pearl. I can continue to synch all other parts of Outlook (tasks, memos etc) but I can not transfer any of the appointments back to my computer/web access. I have tried re-installing desktop manager (tried v4.5 to see if the bug had been sorted), deleted service books, left only the exchange server settings and desktop (so as not too have two calenders with gmail), hard reset on phone, synching one way with desktop manager etc, but no luck. I wasnt that bothered before, but I am away for 5 weeks in the wilderness and I want all my data backed up before I leave.
My set up
Blackberry Pearl 8210 on Orange UK
Desktop manager 4.5
Outlook Exchange 2003 (our IT department does not support enterprise solution) so email collected using internet service
Outlook 2007
Windows XP
Happy to synch calender over USB as know wireless synch is not supported (the setting is switched off on all calenders).
Do not use gmail calender, but would be useful if i could continue to collect emails, but not that bothered if it means my calenders match up on my desktop/exchange web access/BB.
If someone could please give me some advice/a solution I would be very grateful.

Are you using Exchange account? Do you have cached Exchange mode enabled?
Does this issue happen to multiple users or just a couple of them?
Does this issue come back after you recreate the local Outlook profile? If this fix the issue permanently, it may be the profile or data file corruption that is causing the issue.
Since there is an interval for Outlook to sync updates, to ensure the all items are updated, we may try pressing the
Update Folder button under Send/Receive tab to reduce the double-booking.

IPhone Calendar keeps syncing with Google even though no Gmail account on it

My iPhone calendar always shows all my work Gmail calender events- I can't get rid of this! There's no Gmail account on the phone- if I log in to https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect on the phone then I can't de-select it as the tickbox is greyed out.
I have no Google apps on the phone - so nothing I can delete there and I can't see anything about the phone in Google settings.
Any ideas?

Anyone who has The same probs! I have an android phone and an iPad. They have worked fine until à fel weekend ago, but now my meetings I put in my iPad calender don't show up in My phone or on My gmail calender.

I'm trying to set up my wife's iCal to sync with her gmail calender. We both just got brand new macbook pros and mine had no problems sync my mail, calendar, chat and address book.
Yet when she tries to sync her computer with her gmail account it will only work with mail and address book and chat. When it tries to sync her calendar with iCal it says that "A secure connection couldn't be established" and won't sync her calendar at all.
Anyone have a solution?

This has been an issue for people since 2010. Why is it still here?
