Gmail contacts not synchronizing

I have just noticed that my Gmail contacts are not Synchronizing.
I have checked the account and the Contacts is selected to Sync
Having checked my blackberry 9800 and gmail account I have contacts in both that are not syncing, Email and calendar are working perfectly
any help please

Did you ever find any assistance on this issue? I have a similar issue as of the past two weeks and have attempted to resolve it differing ways but nothing seems to restart the synchronization of the contacts again?
I would be appreciative, if you see this note, if you let me know what you found for a solution.

IPhone gmail contacts not deleting.

Hi I'm having a problem with my gmail account on my iPhone 3Gs. Whenever I try to send a friend an email I start by typing "Me" and a contact named Megan comes up. I deleted Megan from my phone and my gmail contacts (and all of her email just in case it was causing the issue) but no matter what Megan still comes up. There is no trace of Megan in my phone or on my gmail contact list but I can't get her out of the "to:" box in gmail on my phone.
Any tips? It is driving me nuts!

Contacts from gmail are not sync -ing properly to iphone 4

I set up my gmail account on my iphone with "exchange." All my contact names got sync -ed but many phone numbers were missing. It seemed to be a partial sync. How do I get my complete contacts onto my iphone?

further to this my apps do appear on my iphone, its just they are shaded grey and all say "waiting" as if waiting to download from app store. been 2 days and yet nothing.

Complete sync of gmail contacts-not happening

Dear friends,
i have added my gmail account on iPad Air ver 7.1.2.
google had given me a 16 character password for syncing all my applications on an iPad as I have 2 step authentication switched on.
it worked well and synced all applications (Mail, contacts, calendars, notes).
the problem that I face is that all my contacts are not displayed.
i Have tried switching off and again syncing it...but it does not work.
kindly suggest a solution.

Looks like I don't have to do anything except add a few emails manually. I went to send an email and most were already there. I was checking in the contact book that already comes on the iPad. It was empty except for the 2 random addresses. But now I've found when I go to mail and want to send an email, most of the addresses come up as normal when I type the first few letters. Strange thing though, not all of them are there. I'll have to add some manually.
It felt like a lot to do to add gmail as exchange account when I already had an account. Why wouldn't it just add ALL the addresses with a sync?

Gmail contacts not syncing

I have a 16 GB iphone 6+ with iOS 8.1.1
I have 2 problems
1. I have been using google contacts in my phone which worked like a charm when i logged in to my iPhone using my gmail. Now about the issue. i have to keep adding and editing my contacts every now and then, but that contact does not seem to be editing in my gmail account. How do i do it?
2. i want to sync my contact to iCloud so that it is independent of my google account and easily available to me on my cloud. i logged in my cloud but those contacts didn't seem to exist. i thought they would auto sync from my gmail. that didn't happen. how do i sync it and make it my default syncing place and also make google as my manual syncing place.

As I said, "latest" is controlled by your carrier, not by anyone else. The things you note for checking for updates are likewise controlled by your carrier. To move beyond what your carrier currently supports requires the use of either Sachesi or AutoLoader:

GMail not deleting / gmail contacts not synchronizing

I've got GMail configured to use exchange on my iPad. Starting yesterday, I've started having problems deleting email. When I attempted to delete an email, I'd get an error stating that the message "couldn't be moved to the trash". So I deleted and recreated the account, and now the error still occurs intermittently, and my contacts won't download - but I can query against my gmail address book.
Any suggestions?

Synch Gmail Contacts via and Lotus Notes Contacts on BES

I currently use Wireless Synch to synchronize my Lotus Notes Contacts to my Blackberry Bold 9900 via a BES.
In addition to the LN account, I also have a Gmail account active on my Blackberry; however, the Contact Synch and the Calendar Synch features are both turned off (for the Gmail account) at present.
I would like to synch the Gmail Contacts and Calendar to my BB, but I am unsure whether this would impact my Lotus notes Contacts Address Book or my Lotus Notes Calendar. I have already had one incident where my Gmail contacts were intermingled with my Lotus Notes contacts and I want to keep them separate.
Can someone please explain what behaviour I should expect if I enable synch for the Gmail Contacts and Address book? Will this create separate, new address book and calendar (i.e. separate from the Desktop ones used with Lotus Notes) or will it merge the Gmail contacts and calendar with Lotus Notes contacts and calendar?
Also, please explain the differences between the Contacts synch and Calendar synch in the built in BB Gmail application and Google Synch App. Why would one use the later?
Note: In case this is relevant - I also have a Playbook with O/S 2.0 that is configured to access the Gmail account in fully synchronized mode. At present, the LN account is only accessed via BB Bridge on the Playbook.

Long-time BB user. Curve 8530. Desktop Software 5.0 Bundle 1596.Have been a successful user of software since release. Sync calendar and contacts from Outlook 2010.Generally, one-way sync from computer to device. Sync calendar and contacts separately. Have about 1,000 contacts in Outlook 2010 Contacts. Tried to sync Contacts last night and today - indicates Contacts(not available) in the Select Organizer Data to Synchronize ("gray'd out, option to select not available).
First time this has happened. How can I get the Contacts option active to sync?
Last time I sychronized each of Calendar and Contacts prior to yesterday, Wednesday, February 20, 2013, was Monday, February 18, 2013.

Sorry to hear you're having an issue syncing your Contacts.
Have you recently added an email account, such as Gmail or Yahoo and enabled wireless Contact sync?
If you reboot by pulling the battery then reinsert it, do you get the option to configure the Contacts?
It would be recommended you upgrade your BlackBerry Desktop Software to the latest version. You can download it from www.blackberry.com/desktop and once updated see if you're able to configure your Contacts for sync.

Synchronize gmail contacts

An engineer level phone support tech told me there is currently no solution for Zeen (android OS tablet for eStation printer) not synchronizing with gmail Contacts (in spite of successful synchronization with gmail Calendar and Inbox). I plan to ask about this during the announced:
"Experts will be on the printer and all in ones, notebook and desktop boards ready to answer your questions on Tuesday, Jan. 11th from 12:00 pm to Wednesday, Jan 12th 12:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (Tuesday, Jan. 11th from 4:00 pm to Wednesday, Jan 12th 4:00 pm UTC)."

I meant by "not compatible" that all the solutions that I found on the web did not work, especially the "Microsoft exchange" one.
Fortunately I found on the comments of the first website you mentioned the right answer for me, which I copy below:
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Other > Add CardDav Account.
Enter the following information in the fields:
Server: google.com
User Name: Enter your full Google email address
Password: Your Google account password
Select Next at the top of the screen to complete the setup.
After you have completed the setup, open the Contacts app on your device. Syncing should begin automatically.
Additional Information
Note: Make sure that SSL is enabled (under Advanced settings), and that the port is 443.
If you are using application based special password go to https://accounts.google.com/Se... and instead of your password put that special code and u r done.

In migrating from an XP PC to a new Win 7 PC, I downloaded Firefox to the new PC and it worked fine - got my Gmail contacts, calendar, etc. Later I used Micros Soft's Windows Easy Transfer to move data, profiles, etc to the new PC. Then could log onto Gmail but it would not show Contacts or Calendar. I then uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it - nohelp, then I did a system to Restore to before I did the Windows Easy Transfer - no help, then I manually moved my Firefox Profile from the XP machine - no help. BTW at least one other website does not display correctly: http://www.hollandamerica.com/main/Main.action. NOTE - through all this Internet Explorer has shown these sites correctly.

Gmail contact can not loading in Mail on OS X 10.9

I don't think that is wise since Siri or I may try to make a phone contact may actually be a factime call, butI don't know how to get them into the app ( tried via the "add account in settings, and with a cheap Google synch app) .

They could be on another page on your iPhone, try doing a search for the apps. If you still don't see them restart your iPhone by holding down the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo. If you are still having problems try to reset your home screen.
