Gmail... how to get emails in both places?

Hi,
I have my blackberry setup to work with gmail.
I've been noticing that if I get an email on my blackberry it doesn't go to my gmail inbox and vice versa.
Is there any way to get the emails both on my blackberry and in my gmail inbox?

Have you tried deleting and re-adding the email account on your BB email setup site? That may fix the issue.
Or Send service books to the phone by:
1. Logging in to your carrier's BIS site (where you setup your email)
2. Go to Service Books and click "Send Service Books"

It sounds like your using a POP3 email account versus IMAP. With a POP3 account if you do not have the settings configured to leave email on the server the problem you describe will occur. With Outlook 2010 (on a PC for example) you can go into the account settings and configure to leave email on the server. That way both devices will see the email. Check help for your Mac email program for instructions...

A better solution is if your email provider uses IMAP. IMAP sync email folders between multiple devices. Meaning any device will receive the email, all sent email can be seen on the devices. If you delete email from one device the email is deleted from all the other devices. Check with your email provider to see if they offer IMAP services.
If they do not your choices are to 1) configure email on the Mac as illustrated in the link above or 2) change email providers to something like Gmail or Outlook.com (as examples).

I use mail on my Mac to get my emails and since getting my iphone i also use this. the problem is when i have mail on my computer open i only get emails sent to it. when i dont have it open i only get them sent to my iphone.

It sounds like you are using a POP3 mail server. POP3 was designed to have only one client, so when a message is downloaded to the client by default it is deleted from the server. This dates from the time when it was considered inconceivable that anyone would have more than one computer to read mail. There is a solution and a workaround. The Solution is to switch to an IMAP mail server. IMAP was designed to support multiple clients; the master copy of each message remains on the server, and the clients sync to it.
The workaround is to change the settings of the mail clients (mail.app and the iPhone) to leave messages on the server. This is not as convenient, because you have to delete them manually, but if you don't have an IMAP server it is the best you can do.

Getting email in one place or another

I am trying to get email on either iPad or desktop (entourage), but not both. Currently I get the same messages in both places. I've tried settings in both places with no luck.

I must say that this is a most unusual request!
Nevertheless, if your account is an IMAP account you can switch it to Pop3 and adjust the settings on the mail server so that your mails are only downloaded to the first device which accesses the server. Google SWITCHING FROM IMAP TO POP3 and see what you come up with. (I understnd that switching the other way around - from pop3 to IMAP - is virtually impossible!)

Why SUN develop the 'extends' functionality ? You should use extends if you're changing the behavior of an existing class. An example of this is extending JPanel and overriding the paintComponent() method to do some custom painting.
You should not use extends if you just need an instance of an existing class. An example of this is extending JFrame instead of simply creating a JFrame instance.
Without seeing your code, I can't be sure you're misusing extends. But many people do.
Here's an example.

How to get email thru WiFi without a Bb Data Plan from Provider

Can a blackberry Torch 9800 be configured to connect to mail servers online and download email via wifi instead of getting it through the cellular connection. I am travelling and have SIM and WiFI but no Blackberry data plan from provider. So I want to use wifi to receive and send email.
Can this be done and how?

You both are correct.
You must have the BlackBerry data plan on your home account.
When you travel, you will roam on other mobile providers. Turn your wifi on when at a hotspot, and mobiile network > data services on. When off of wifi, ueen your data services off not to consume expensive roaming data.

Using VBA (workbook) it is possible to replace blank with 0.
To achive this in bex:
Create a new formula = (KF==0)*0 + KF
This returns 0 if KF is blank or 0 and returns KF values as it is if KF is not blank or zero.
and hide original KF.

How to get emails sent using my iphone and gmail sent to my Outlook inbox?

I have set up my my Iphone Mail Account using gmail/googlemail.
If I send an e-mail from my iphone then it appears in my sent folder on my iphone but does not get sent to my Outlook inbox (when I carry out the Send/Receive function). However, when I send an e-mail using gmail webmail (rather than Outlook), the sent e-mail DOES get sent to my Outlook inbox.
How do I set things up (using my Iphone? Using gmail? Using Outlook?) to get e-mails sent using my iphone delivered to my Outlook inbox?

I have deleted the account and created it again, using your instructions.
I do not know whether Outlook is configured as IMAP or not: sorry to sound ignorant but I am literate only up to a point!
I do not understand why e-mail that is sent via the webmail goes into my inbox...while e-mail sent via iphone does not. I would therefore imagine that I need to do something to my iphone (as you initially suggested) than to Outlook or Googlemail...but I am quite prepared to be told I am wrong.

I'm trying to share a new Canon printer wirelessly between my HP laptop and my iMac. I've successfully printed from both computers, but, I get errors trying to print on one after I've printed on the other. Any ideas on how to get them to both to print?

You didn't state how it's connected to each computer, if it's connected through your router then it should work. If it doesn't then you need to contact Canon and ask for assistance.

How to get email attachment file name?

I have a macro that executes when the user sends an email. In this macro, I want to get the subject of the email itself and the titles of all of its attachments (be they documents or other attached emails).
To get the email subject, I use Groupwise.ComposingItem.subject
To get the attachment filename, I use Groupwise.ItemAttachmentGetDisplayName("X00", <attachment_index>)
However, this call only seems to work for document attachments. For other emails attached to the current email, this call returns "Mail Attachment" instead of the name of the attached email. How can I get the name (i.e. subject) of the attached email?

i try useing the DMS_KPRO_READ prog as you said above.
The problem is that i need to retrieve list (range) of documents and than save them.
as it written now , i can do it just about one file.

HELP!!!! How to get Pages on both users!

I downloaded and paid for pages under my husband's username but when I went to mine, the pages app is still under trial! How do I get the app to function properly under both usernames? Or do I have to pay for it twice? Please help!!

The version under trial is probably Pages '08. I suspect you bought Pages '09. You have to delete Pages '08 form your machine...not just the app, but a few other files, too. Since you just bought Pages, tech support if free for 90 days. Just call apple (1-800-My-Apple) and they'll get you up and running.
