Gmail keeps showing blank emails on iphone.

gmail keeps showing i have 2-3 new emails all the time. but the message says " no sender, no content." these same messages are not in my gmail inbox online; only show up on iphone. anyoe else having this?

I have exactly the same problem. If I go into the email settings and switch Notes sync off, it's resolved for a couple of hours but occurs again later.

"U.S. Holiday" Calendar Keeps Showing up in my iPhone Calendar

I added my Google Calendars to my iPhone so it syncs with my google account. On Google I have one personal calendar and one for US Holidays. However, I keep unchecking US Holidays on my iPhone, but it keeps showing up every time again despite my unchecking. I also have a Swedish Calendar but that one I can uncheck.
Is this a bug? Can I do something besides removing US Holidays from Google Calendars? I would prefer to have it available.

I had the same issue and had two languages as well. I deleted Spanish but that didn't help. What finally helped was changing View --> Show All Day Events. Too bad Apple has the default to not show. Hope they fix it on the next release. If you have an All Day Event why would you not want to show it? At any rate, after much frustration over not being to see the holidays, this solved it for me.

I have this exact problem. I have 3 email addresses on my mac and I can select one, and the email still be sent through another account and I won't know it until I get a reply for that email in one of the other accounts.

Can't delete a blank email from iPhone

I am having a problem deleting an email that does not contain any information on my iPhone. After I read all of my new messages, the counter still says I have 1 new email. When I scroll to the bottom of the list, it is just a blank line with a disclosure arrow on the right. When I click the item, mail shuts down and takes me back to the homescreen.
This is in my mobile me account. I have already tried to delete the account from the phone and start over, as well as move all of my inbox messages on the mobile me on the web to another folder, leaving the inbox totally empty, but nothing has worked. When I add my mobile me account to the iphone again, that blank message shows up again. Any thoughts?

And the answer is, "mark as read." Who'd a thunk?

Emails application keeps showing unread emails, any way to fix?

I have the problem that lots of us apparently do. My ipad 2 email application keeps saying I have unread emails when I do not. This started after a recent IOS "upgrade". It worked fine before. I've tried marking all the emails as unread, leaving it alone until all the emails have been marked and then marking them all as read. This temporarily fixes the problem. Invariably so far, within a few days of doing this, the application will again show I have unread emails when I do not. Can anyone shed some light on this? I. Don't feel like I should have to pay for support when it's obvious (to me) that this problem is the result of a buggy IOS distro. Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

It's not broken. If it's an IMAP account that's the way it is designed to work. If you don't want that to happen you will have to set up the account as POP3.

Completed PDF form showing blank on iPad/iPhone

A few months back I asked for some help making some functionality on a PDF form work. Here is the link to that post: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/783271?tstart=0 I used a "read only" button/JavaScript to make the forms based on the help in the above post. I discovered this weekend that the forms show up blank when viewed on an iPad or iPhone after they have been filled in and "locked" through the JavaScript button. I did some quick Internet searches and found that completed Acrobat/Adobe forms have known issues displaying on the Apple iOS. So based on this information, am I correct in my assumptions? (I know my completed forms are not viewing correctly.) Also, is there any fix for this issue? Is there a workaround? Am I just making my forms incorrectly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was going to just let it go and forget the iOS problem but I decided I would post here and see if anyone has some advice.

The problem is indeed the PDF viewer used in the iPhone does not support PDF forms. It is not related to how you created the form.
You can approach the problem in tow ways. Either use a PDF viewer on the iPhone/iPad that does support forms, or flattent the form before distributing it. The former approach may not be feasible, and the latter approach cannot work unless the person preparing the document has at least Acrobat Standard. Reader cannot flatten a form.

HYPERLINK - This word keeps showing after email address

I have now found a solution to my own problem.
The word "Hyperlink" along with the email address, I highlighted them as if I was going to cut and paste.
I then followed the procedure below .
File-> Options-> section: Mail-> button: Editor Options…-> section: Advanced-> option group: Display e-mail content-> uncheck the option:
Show field codes instead of their values.
then a clicked OK, It worked.

ok this ones a werid one i was useing gmail on mail and it was set as pop.gmail but for some reason it stoped giveing my recent email. so i basicily went and deleated everything out of the archives from mail and i figured i can re add it again. well as i did the pop set up now i have nothing in gmail/mail how can i get it to work again?

In the Gmail settup pages, in those for POP/IMAP access, there is a selection to have Gmail present messages it knows you have already downloaded, again. Gmail is neither true POP or true IMAP, and chooses the messages it will present for access with an email client.

HT2731 Old apple Id keeps showing up on my iPhone how do you delete the old I'd?

I had an e mail address with my employer that I used on my I phone for my apple ID and when I retired I no longer have access to that e mail server. I successfully changed my apple ID but a pop up with the old ID comes up on my I phone and I do not know how to stop this pop up. My old password with the old ID doesen't work.
Have any ideas on how to fix this.

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up. Did you back-up just before your software update? It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.

Is your email account a POP or IMAP server? Where did you delete them from originally?

This few days i found apple store show that got updates, usually i click in, the page will show which software got update, But this few days it keep show blank only. Pls advice

Many people are having this problem for the last couple of days. This is a problem that Apple has to fix. If you look around the forum, you will see many, many discusssions about this and they have been going on for a few days.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this is a workaround - for the time being.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store.
