Gmail not sending but recieves WTFFFFFFF

Hi,<br><br>I've had the droid 2 for about 3 months and for the first 2 the gmail worked riight. I forward from my schools email to my gmail, and I have it set to reply via my schools address. Here is what I don't get. Gmail will receive emails on my phone but when I try to send them, its says it sends the message but the recipient never gets the message. This is really annoying for how much I pay a month please help

Try going menu>applications>manage applications > menu>filter all.. then go to Gmail and Gmail storage and clear cache. This will clear your outbid that's trying to send. So make sure to save emails you need first before starting this process.

try resetting your network settings: Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings. This works fine if something is messed up with your carrier bundle.

My droid razr m will not send or recieve texts

I just switched to a Droid Razr M and it will not let me send or recieve texts UNLESS it is a picture message or a group message. It does not let me send or receive any other texts. I tried to reset all factory settings and it still did not do anything. I can make calls & receive calls, get on the internet, send and receive picture messages, send or receive group messages but not regular texts to just one number it has to either be a picture or in a group text. Its very frustrating because im not sure whats wrong or how to fix it. So if anyone can please help me or have had this problem before, let me know what to do or what you did to fix this problem! Please!

Have you tried shutting down the phone, removing the SIM card for a few minutes, reassemble and reboot the phone?
Otherwise there might be an issue with your text message feature on the Verizon Wireless server side. You will have to call into customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from another line to ask them to reset it for you.

Gmail not sending in Mavericks Mail

Installed Mavericks on a 2011 Mini - first problem, cannot get Gmail to send from Mail app - checked all the settings (even deleted and re-entered account) - it finds and downloads incoming but will not send - the message just sits in the Outbox... ARGH.

I found out how to make this work with 2 step authentication.
I generated another 2 step application specific password via Google Account Settings (called it mall_app_send).
I went to Mail -> Prefrences -> Selected the Gmail account -> Outgoing Mail Server -> Then selected Edit SMTP List, and changed the user name to include my custome domain (e.g. user -> [email protected]) and pasted in the app specific password and hit ok. The Gmail smpt server went from Gmail (Offline) to Gmail and now emails are being sent.

Having issue with exchange email account. I'm able to receive but not send emails. Any solutions? I've deleted and added account back. All settings appear to be in order. Appreciate the help.

You may want to check with your IT department to see if you're putting in the correct settings.

I have an Iphone 3 and net10 is my provider. I am unable to send or recieve picture messages or multi-media messages. Net10 told me to contact apple and there were some things in programing that will fix my problem. Is this true?

That's a 3GS phone (pls update your profile)
Net10 is not a supported carrier of the iPhone so there are settings that need to be changed to use MMS/iMessage etc.
You would need to contact them for the proper instructions.

Mail will not send but thunderbird will

I have two mail programs: mac mail and thunderbird. Mail will not send mail, but Thunderbird will. Any suggestions?

Yeah stop trying to make Mac Mail work and just use Thunderbird. You really don't need 2 Mail programs.

If mail is being receieved but will not send then there is a possibility the iMac has a corrupt mail preference. You can first restart in Safe Mode, this will reset some caches. If the problem persists then go to Mail-Prefences-Accounts-Select the account that is having the problem- and then re-enter all preferences. A corrupt preference may appear OK which is why it needs to be re-entered.
If you don't know how to restart in Safe Mode, hold down the Shift key when you hear the Startup tone until a progress bar appears. After restarting in Safe Mode then restart normally.

If you change your password on your laptop, and try to enter the new one in your I phone 5s, Apple has installed a security measure to protect your phone and account. Unfortunately, they are not forthcoming about giving the solution to this problem that has been going on since 2010, or 2012. If anyone needs the solution, please let me know.

Any ideas, guys? I had a similar issue on iOS 6 but the move to iOS 7 fixed it.
Yesterday, I moved a whole bunch of e-mails from my Gmail archive (on the web interface) to my inbox. Now my Mail app on iPhone is missing a whole chunk of my e-mails....not sure how to fix this!
Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT: I should add, when I cycle to the All Mail folder, I can see everything as normal...but the inbox in the Mail app is missing all e-mails from before yesterday evening, choosing to show only those that are from months ago (and even then, they're just ones I've sent, all the received ones are missing).

In order to resolve the issue more efficiently, I'd like to collecting the following information:
What error message did you get when sending email?
Do you have a webpage interface? Can you send email from there?
When did this issue happen? Does your email account ever work when configured in Outlook 2013?
How did you set your email account in Outlook? Via POP3, IMAP or others? You should contact your provider and make sure you have enter correctly in the "Outgoing server (SMTP)" field.
