I agree, unplug and replug your router, then reset your iPad by holding down the sleep and home buttons, ignore the red power down slider, and wait til you see the silver apple. let it reboot and then try your connection.
Chances are rebooting the router will help. You may also need to talk to cox. They may need to reset something on their end.

Accessing the itunes store and joining this forum are different accounts than an icloud account, so it's not necessarily true that your ID for icloud is the same as for itunes.
Did you set up an icloud account?

About ~20 hours later, this ended up solving itself. We can send email using the '.icloud' email from both the iPad and iPhone. deggie gave you that link so you'd know that airprint is a reduced-options print system, designed for mobile devices (not Macs), and you need to use the specific airprint driver on the Mac when adding the printer if you want Airprint, no-options printing. Otherwise, select the "non-airprint" driver when you add the printer.
It may be helpful to Reset the Printing System to get OS X to find the right driver.

(And "not working" doesn't help us to help you - please give more detail next time)

Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.
If none of the above suggestions work, look at this link.

I experienced a similar problem too. It happened overnight a few weeks ago after 11/19.
I got a pop up message, saying that my password needed to be reset.
So I reset my password, and ever since, I have not been able to read/send email from my icould @me.com acct.
Now I get the error: "The user name or password for "icloud" is incorrect" on my iOS devices, though it is correct enough for access my iTunes account and to log into http://icloud.com.
Interestingly enough, the issue seems to be related to the email only, since I cannot access icould email from the website either. It instead creates an error dump.

I used to have an "@me.com" account which I think was automatically changed to an "@icloud.com account." I experienced same problem tonight and called Verizon technical support and they walked me through the settings on iPad. Took about 5 minutes. Basically it involved changing incoming.verizon.net to pop.verizon.net and changing outgoing.verizon.net to smtp.verizon.net. But it's worth the call to ensure other settings are OK. Evidently, change at Verizon was effective today!
