Gmail refuses connections

Question

Gmail suddenly started refusing connections to Thunderbird. That is all I know. I found a script on another site that said to try the following script to try to make sure I can connect to the main server: nslookup -type=MX gmail.com I got a window that read Connection timed out. Any ideas?

To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try the following:
