Gmail reports the Firefox is out of date

I am running Firefox 35.0.1 and I have the following User Agent String:
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.3.1; en-gb; GT-I9300 Build/JLS36I) AppleWebKit/Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0.1 /534.30 CyanogenMod/10.2.0/i9300
Should I have something different in the string to get Gmail to work properly?

Is that an unofficial, 3rd party build for Android?

hello your useragent (the information the browser sends to websites to identify its version) - apparently mistakenly - shows this:

probably some sort of unwanted software has overwritten it. please refer to this article in order to reset the user-agent settings in firefox:

Why does the start up web page say my Firefox is out of date; and the link I click to to fix it says it IS up to date? Was the first one a lie?

Which is the lie, the first page or the second web page?
The details are that my first time user impression is that Firefox is a liar, or that the web page is developed by liars; or that the program doesn't function well as it said that my Firefox was out of date, but the link to fix the problem said that is was up to date. So, the only purpose of the statement that it was out of date was to get me to register, and that the company doesn't care what I think about it. I am totally open to another logical explanation. I mean you could give me an illogical explanation based on emotion but I'll just reject it and then uninstall Firefox because, well, that should be obvious. So, if it wasn't a lie, then the second page was a lie.... which is it?

Please remember this is public and showing passwords in a post can alow others to use the credentials.
It is possible to manage passwords from the Options or Preferences menu under advanced tab. If you click show password it will show the password if in the past it was chosen to be remembered.
Please also try the account recovery for a new password.
Also what version of Firefox is saying it is out of date?

Popup says that firefox is out of date. update to continue

I get a popup when i am on a videopoker site the says."Firefox is out of date. Please update to continue.
Previously i got a popup that said "Flashplayer is out of date. Please update to continue.
The only info i can provide, since i'm no geek, is a (browser/Ip) address i see on the screen. It says 8.29.133.184/browser/firefox. Looking up that # traces it to "Beyond Hosting LLC.
I have run every malware/scan i can find to eliminate this to no avail. All scans come back clean. Ideas ?

Note that you should only update Firefox and plugins via their official web page. 
If you click a link on a pop-up then you may end up with installing malware.

Repeated notification that "Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in" in Firefox is "out of date" after the upgrade is downloaded and installed.

I have tried to update the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, along with the plug-in in Firefox v37.0.1. Repeatedly, after the download/installation is "complete", upon opening Firefox I'm met with the message that the "Adobe Acrobat plug-in" is "out of date". I tried rebooting my machine, uninstalling Acrobat Reader DC (which works as a stand-alone), and still the plug-in is never updated (the one listed is from early December 2014) and the reminder always reappears with opening Firefox. I have the latest version of firefox and I tried to follow the instructions for cookies, only the instructions seems out of date. How do I fix this?

I have to adjust my cookies and I found the instructions on your site. When I followed the instructions, I found that it seems for an older version and not the new one. The privacy settings are not the same as they once were and I can't make any adjustments to may cookies except to delete them.
What I could do was go to the 'Firefox' tab at the top left corner, go to history, Clear recent history, and so on. I can't make any adjustments to a single cookie. It's all or nothing.
Are there any other ways for me to make the adjustments?

How to get add-on manager to stop reporting an addon as out of date.!

With update of Firefox v35 & now v36... The add-on manager is reporting that my flash player is out of date (See screenshot : Add-onMngr-1), I have followup with clicking on the "update now" link I get instead yet the following : plug in check & update page, ( https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ ) I get the following back from there. (See screenshot : Plugincheck-n-update-1)
As you can see, it is up to date...
I have no idea of how many others, who have Firefox, have ran into this same issue.. but I feel that I speak for all of them in this... Get this fixed.! It is a major pain, when sites you go to fail to work as they should.. (case in point, SilentHunterOnline.com, I go to their main sign in page, enter my log in ID & password, get signed in an taken to play now page, click on the link there, an have game start loading... I get several messages about the flash player, I click on continue, it starts to load an then bam.!, I get dropped right back to the page for play now... repeatedly) with your add-on manager erroneously reporting that your flash is out of date, when it is not.
In addition to that, kindly restore to us USERS... the right to choose.. or to NOT choose.. to allow flash to operate.. I, for one, do NOT appreciate the high handed mentality behind only the choices of "Ask to activate" or " Never activate" only...

Just some other info.. I recently did a wipe & reformat on my computer (12/31/14, to be exact..) an did a complete reinstall of all things needed afterwards..
1 other thing, that I did not get to also post initially.. is the manager, is also stating that I have "Java Development Toolkit", which to the best of my knowledge, i don't.. the only thing in relation to "Java" that I know of, is the recent Java 8 update 40... unless that has the Development Toolkit included..
I also have included a screenshot of my uninstaller that I use, as a just in case more info is needed on that, as well...
In the meantime, I will be shortly after posting this reply, going to a different browser & follow up with " https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html ", an then to " https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html " to reinstall the flash.. hopefully this will resolve the issues I am having.. if not, then I will be back to further post on this topic, either on success.. or failure.. like McArthur.. I shall return.. : )

I keep getting the " firefox is up to date " screen after updating, it usually only occurs once , but i can't get rid of it.

Is your homepage set as http://www.google.com/firefox/ ?
This used to be the old default homepage with Firefox 3.6.* and earlier that was hosted by Google. As of Firefox 4.0 the new default homepage if selected is '''about:home''' (it looks similar but without the olde version message).
Tools->Options->General->Homepage: Where you can change it to another site or '''about:home''' or keep blank.

Rebuild the Dimension Flushes out Cube data

I want to change the implementation details of one of my dimesion from Surrogate key to "use key data sources" . After Applying my dimension data gone ..
Now ran below :
exec dbms_cube.build('CUSTOMER using (LOAD NO SYNCH,COMPILE)');
I expect the cube compilation would be done retaining my old data with the change in dimenisons only .But all the Cube data flushes out . Any way to get this back without running complete cube load again .

No, I am afraid you will need to reload the cube. Switching to "use key data sources" means that we have to remove all of the existing dimension members and hence associated cube data.

Hello, when our phones were purchased the wife set up both to her itunes account, We have since set up 2 laptops, and now have setup my own itunes account on that laptop. How do I change the phone account to match, Do I loose data? at the moment there are no apps or music or docs, but I dont want to loose messages, or contacts. We have turned of auto sync on itunes on the laptop. So I need to backup the phone, then do a ios upgrade to the phone as I am on v6.1.3 The wifes is all up to date on her laptop, but mine is so far behind and I am nervous about taking the next step. Do you mean iTunes library?
iTunes account is what you use to make iTunes purcahses.
iTunes library is what is on your computer.

No, it tells you it can only be sync'd with one iTunes library.
Simplest way is to copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder (thisis the iTunes library) from old computer to new computer.
