Gmail startpage only sshows mesages. the page is incomplete. cant send new messages in firefox4
after installing firefox 4 the startpage of gmail only shows the recieved messages.
so no possibility of sending new mesages and all other possebilities

The iMessages account can do SMS (Text Messages) in Yosemite if you have an iOS 8 iPhone that have been linked.
To do this you need to Enable text Forwarding on the iPhone - which in turn triggers the Code Number to appear on the Mac version which you copy back to the iPhone dialogue box.
If it is On on the settings on the iPhone then you should be able to select the Mac that is linked.
You may find it has become Unlicked and you need to Reset. (turn the Function On again and then ask it to connect to the Mac in question and wait fro the number).
I just checked mine and it had become Unlinked again (I am not sure of the trigger for this)

On iPhoto, I can no longer access the 'Classic' option which would lay out my photos on the page. It will send them as attachments only. I need the page layout for my work. Any thoughts as to why this has changed? It used to fully lay out the photos so I could add notes and detailed information before I sent them. The "Photos" view has been replaced by the Media Browser.
Most applications will show you the Photos icon in the Sidebar, when you need to select photos in a file chooser dialoge. Mail, Safari, the iWork apps. See Terence Devlin's User Tip: How to Access Files in iPhoto
For example, in the File > Open dialogue in Preview I am seeing this in the sidebar. -

ThanksSometimes the wireless MagicMouse can be erratic and seem to automatically zoom in, etc. Try going to System Preferences and detuning the sensitivity settings, see if that helps.

I cant send pic messages to iphone users. I get the error message: "one or more of the message components have been delted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your handset". This only seems to be an issue to iphones. I like this phone but have had nothing but trouble since day one. I am so tired of being on the phone with verizon and still not getting all the problems corrected. Someone please help!

Help is right here, front and center! Let's get your mms working properly. May I ask are you using the original stock messaging app to send texts and mms? Also, are you using any special characters or emojis in your message? Since you state that the issue is to iPhones, did you happen to have used an iPhone on your mobile number just before you were using the Galasy S 5? As you share the details then we can investigate.

If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.
If you want to bulk email yourself, there are apps for it and their templates will work in most cases...

When I send an email with Mail, I often confuse the account which I'm using. The result is that I send a message with the wrong account! Is there a way to avoid this (for example a reminder before the email is sent)?
Hi, thanks for the answer, I did that already. Unfortunatly this doesn't help me at all, as I often forget to check the menu. For me composing the message is writing the text, the subject, the person to who is addressed and than press "send".
I often forget to check the "from", and this is a problem because the software select itself one of the accounts.
Isn't there a way at least to put as a default a blank field instead of one of the accounts? or an account which doesn't work so if I forget to specify the "from" I will be rnotofied that the message can't be sent.
I guess this could be a rather common problem for many people!

Flip the Ring/Silent switch. Make sure Vibrate when silent is off in Settings>Sound.

In Contacts, I don't have any duplicates, but in iMessage contacts on iMac in Mountain Lion, the contacts it provides for a new message are all doubles. Why and how can I fix?

Try Contacts>Preferences...>Accounts...remove {-}/re-add {+}your iCloud account.

attemped instructions in Mountain Lion to change my e mail address to the recommended i cloud.com address.
The drop down in the SEND NEW MESSAGES FROM does not have the i cloud e mail option.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again. -

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a (too) high value can cause issues.

Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with overlapping text. -

This approach was taken because the client needed the ability to keep adding videos to the portfolio section of the site themselves indefinitely and
i was short on ideas to implement that functionality with Muse. I've now exported the code as HTML to Dreamweaver to see what I can achieve there.
Using Dreamweaver, Is it possible for the page height and i-frame height to resize with new content as more videos are added to it? Is there some script I can add to the page?

PLEASE HELP.Ordinarily, Iframe re-size scripts will only work when the parent page (with iframe) and the external page (blog) both reside on the same domain. However, someone came up with a cross domain solution which requires you to put jQuery scripts on both sites. NOTE: I've never tested this.

IMO, a cleaner solution is to use scripts to parse the blog's RSS feed into the main site. You can use PHP code from FeedForAll or jQuery's jFeed plugin.

Admin can see changes to the page, but User cant see the changes.
Hi All,
I am a brand new SharePoint admin for a school. Faculty/Staff access the site collection as well as the students. Faculty and Staff have higher rights than the students, and can add content as well as view them.
As the site collection administrator, I have added a html webpart and added html code to a subsite. (the code is simply hyperlinks that route to a different page when clicked, nothing complex).
I made these changes and can view them properly as the site collection admin when I check in the site. I then signed out as the site collection admin, and signed in using a dummy student account. I went back to the same page where I made the changes, and
cannot see them.
The url of the site is the same for both administrator/student.

I want to edit the subsite and make these changes so everyone can see it.

The only way to clear the Messages cache is to restore the phone as new (not from back up). Or, wait until they're overwritten in time.
