Gmail wont stay on home page

gmail wont stay on home page. I always have to go to more downloads and click on gmail
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox opened
== up date firefox

Gmail has a new option which allows you to sign in multiple gmail accounts at the same time. But remember, if you log-out one of the open Gmail accounts, the other will be logged off too. If you decide not to view one of the opened Gmail account, you can just close that tab:

  • Cannot set about:home to stay as home page.

    When I set '''about:home''' as my home page it only lasts until I close Firefox 13.0.1. The next time I start Firefox 13.0.1 it has changed to ''http://www.searchnu.com/406''. I cannot find a program or plug-in that I can remove to get about:home top stay as my home page.

  • Bookmarked item stays in home page seach bar. Won't clear. How Fix?

    On the Firefox home page search box one of my bookmarks has suddenly appeared there in grey. It can not be deleted in the usual ways (highlight/delete, backspace over, etc.) but if something is typed it disappears. BUT, when Search is activated the search goes to the search on the bookmark item's page!
    Reloaded, restart, shut down restart have not worked. How to fix?

    The search engine that is used on the location bar and on the about:home page is the search engine that is selected in the search Bar on the Navigation Toolbar.<br />
    You can install the Keyword Search extension to specify with search engine to use for the location bar and which search engine to use for the about:home page via the Options/Preferences windows of this extension, accessible via the about:addons page.

  • Lost Accuweather From My Home Page

    I turned my Galaxy Stellar on this morning and my Accuweather header is gone from my home page. Checked all pages, not there either. I don't see it in my apps, I kind of liked having it on top of my home page, any way to get it back without doing a reset and losing everything else? Tried downloading the Accuweather app from the play store but it's different and wont go to home page except as a widget.

        I agree that having a weather widget on the main page is extremely useful. Here's how to re-add widgets on your phone http://vz.to/18TqtSn.

  • The back, forward, reload and stop buttons are greyed out, the address bar stays blank when I go to a website and firefox loads to a blank page, not my home page. There are 3 users on this computer and it only happens on one user.

    Firefox loads to a blank page, not my home page. When I click on the home button it takes me to the home page. The back, forward, refresh and stop buttons are greyed out and not usable. The webpage I am on does not show up in the address bar. If I type something into the address bar, that address stays there no matter what page I go to next.

    Just upgraded to v4. It did NOT fix the problem.

    By default Firefox opens a blank page for a new Tab, there is no setting to change that action without installing an add-on.

  • How do I stay logged into my service provider home page.

    I have an ATT Account and use the classic home page with the Firefox Browser. I want to stay logged in for at least 2 weeks or more, but each time I enter the Firefox browser, it requires me to re-insert my full ID and Password. How do I change this so I will remain signed in for a period of at least two weeks before having to enter the email ID and password again. I've added an exception for this site in the Tools section and it still doesn't work.

    My sign in box no longer has the 2 week check box, how do I get it back?

  • Firefox homepage changed. Lost Icons for Gmail, YouTube, etc that use to appear on the home page. How do I get them to appear back on the Firefox homepage?

    A week ago, my Firefox homepage changed and I've lost the ability to have Gmail, YouTube, etc appear at the left top of the homepage. I tried to reset by going to settings and set the default but still can not figure out how to get Gmail, YouTube, etc to appear on the homepage.
    Thank you,
    Julia

    Is your home page now https://www.google.com/ ?
    If you are missing the traditional "black bar" at the top of the page, that has been replaced with an application button on the right side that looks like a grid of small squares. Some creative developers have posted add-ons to restore the old bar. I haven't tried these myself:
    * [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/proper-menubar/ Proper Menubar]
    * [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/you-google-bar/ +You Google Bar] - reviews indicate some problems

  • How do I make gmail my home page?

    My current home page is Google Search. I wish to change it to gmail.

    1) '''Tools''' > '''Options''' > '''General'''. Paste or type https://mail.google.com/ in the column beside the option '''Home Page'''.
    2) When at the gmail page, click '''Tools''' > '''Options''' > '''General''' and below the option '''Home Pages''' click '''Use Current Pages'''. Please note that if there are other sites open they will also be included.
    If the menu is not visible please try pressing '''Alt''' + '''T''' on the keyboard.

  • Gmail is not shown on my firefox/mozilla home page with Maps, Images, etc.

    Using Firefox 3.6 on Vista 64-bit operating system. The link "Gmail" is not on my default homepage of Firefox. It was the first time the homepage came up, but then not again. I can't seem to add it to the Bookmark Toolbar and have to go into "Bookmarks" every time.
    I also have to sign in every time I go to gmail.com or hotmail.com even though I have selected "Remember passwords". How do I fix that

    You can use http://www.google.com/ as the home page if you need to see a Gmail link.

  • I CAN NOT STAY SIGNED IN TO MY HOME PAGE!

    Every time I start up Firefox it takes me to a generic iGoogle sign-in page and I have to enter my username and password to get to my iGoogle http://www.google.com/ig home page. This is already set in my General Tab under Tools.
    This was working just fine until about a week ago. I'm not sure what was changed. Somewhere along the line I did upgrade to FF 7.0.1
    Please help!!
    Thanks very much,

  • When I swipe the home page the apps are staying and being superimposed by the next page of apps.

    why do the apps from the home page stay on the screen when swiping to another page of apps? It appears the home screen is locked and the other apps are then superimposed over them.

    Have you tried resetting the iPad?  Do this by pressing and holding the home and power buttons till you see the apple logo on the screen at which point you can release them and the iPad will finish booting back up.
