GMS Admin console: Changes made by user not being saved

Hi,
with GMS 2.0.1 and groupwise for auth and provisioning, users can log in to the gms admin console with gw credentials just fine. but if the user tries to save changes in the groupwise settings, changes won't be applied.
Code:
"An Error has occurred!"
what's weird is the fact that changes will be saved under device settings.
i assume this must be a rights issue in the groupwise connector.
what has to be done to get this working again. users need to be able to adjust their settings by themselves.

Changes to mailbox behaviors not being saved.

Hey guys,
I have two Google accounts set up on Apple Mail. When I try to edit the Mailbox Behaviors (under Preferences>Accounts>Mailbox Behaviors) they are never saved. My steps are:
1. Go to Mailbox Behaviors
2. Uncheck Drafts & Sent
3. Click the other account, choose another tab, or close preferences
4. Dialog appears asking if I want to save the changes
5. I choose to SAVE.
6. Go back into Mailbox Behaviors - the changes were not saved (i.e. everything is still checked).
Any ideas? I'm running 10.9 on a retina Macbook Pro.

OK...my previous attempt didnt work as the settings came back after a full sync. However, I found another thread that solved my problem. Hope this helps!

I had the same problem and it was causing dozens of versions of autosaved drafts to appear in my Trash. (Gmail autosaves drafts at the server level and trashes previous saves. The feature is not customizable.)
This fixed it for me, at least for the time being:
1) Quit Mail.app.
2) Log into Gmail in your favorite web browser.
3) Click on the gear menu and select "Settings".
4) Click on the "Labels" tab.
5) Under "System Labels", next to "Drafts", click on "show if unread" and uncheck the "Show in IMAP' box.
Now disable "Store draft messages on the server":
6) Launch Mail.app.
7) Select Mail > Preferences...
8) Click on the "Accounts" button in the toolbar.
9) Click once on the account name and then click the "Mailbox Behaviors" tab.
10) Uncheck the "Store draft messages on the server" box.
11) Close the window and opt to save your changes when prompted.
A few other Gmail / Mavericks Mail.app discoveries:
* You must enable the "Show in IMAP" option for the "All Mail" label in Gmail if you had it disabled before. (Google this tip for explanations and ramifications.)
* Mail.app now seems to automatically map the Sent, Junk, Trash and Drafts folders, i.e. you can't use this menu command anymore: Mailbox > Use This Mailbox For > Drafts / Sent / Junk / Trash
* I used to add the "[Gmail]" prefix under the "Advanced" tab of my mail account to eliminate it from the IMAP view, but it doesn't seem to be necessary any more, and might even have been causing some weirdness.

Changes to profile are not being saved

When I checked my profile I found that I'd entered my first and last names in the first name field. I corrected that, saved, and reloaded the profile. My first and last names remain in tghe first name field.
Similarly, when I attempted to enter my mobile phone number Skype insisted the number was invalid---it certainly is not---and would not allow a save.
This is very helpful.

I had the same issue after a long time between uses (version updates). I finally figured out that their format does not allow any dashes or parenthesis, just country code and the sequence of numbers. For instance, I'm in the US, so my number resembled this format:
country code, area code, prefix, number normally looks like this:
+1(555)123-4567
or +1 555-123-4567
entered on skype as:
+15551234567
It would be really helpful if they did what other website and ux designers do by including a sample format either in filler text or an info box. but they don't. Anyway, hope that's helpful.

Changes made by users in F-32 transaction in a perticular company code

Please answer my two queries I will assign points to you.
1) I would like to know how to find the changes made by users from Jan2008 to till date in particular company code in F-32 transaction?
2)How to find the changes made by users in particular company code for all customers like transaction XD02?
Both are related questions but our user wants to know transaction wise changes made by users.
please help me on this issue.

you can see the changes in Customer Master XD04 but you can't see all Customer at a time.
i am not getting what is the issue in your first point.

Swing .............how to undo the changes made by user

Hi,
i have created a form in swing asking for the related information from user whose value i m taking in jformetted textfield.
now i have placed two buttons there.
one is Apply and second is Cancel.
when user pressed Apply button all the changes made by the user must be set where as if user clicks cancel button all the changes made by user should be undo to previously set value.
can anybody help me how this can be done and what code should i write in action performed method

In my application,there is one Button called Option when u clicked on it.It opens up one internal frame where user is asked to asked to fill some parameters.
1) Now how can i restrict user to create one more internal frame unless first one is closed.
2) suppose i clicked option button and it opens up internal frame where i can set the parameters and closed it.If i again click on option then i want the parameter to have wht i just set.
3) and how can pass those parameters value to my main frame from where i m calling internal frame

Report of changes made by user to a material on a purticular date

hi,
i am working on report in which i have to display the changes made by user to a material on a purticular date.
i am able to display he all fields but i want to 1 more field which is in tcode MM04 i.e. text field(which means discription of te action taken).
i want to display this field plzz help me out as help will be deinftely rewarded.

it's possible that there will be no change document for it and in this case you will have an issue because you will have to directly check in the database or enhance this transaction with adding a change document in some customer exit or BADI.

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

HT4075 I tried the steps mentioned above but the changes are not being saved.

The link you posted gives be a 404 not found message.
The reason you're getting the repeat is because your site name is wilgenroos.nl and the first page of your site is wilgenroos.
The standard URL for domain names that are forwarded with the CNAME method is:
http://www.domain_name.com/site_name/page_name.html.
You can change the site and page names in iWeb to give you something more informative about the site and page.
If you're publishing to a 3rd party server and want to get rid of the site name in the url and only have
http://www.domian_name.com/page_name.html
do the following:
publish the site to a folder on your hard drive (already done)
use Cyberduck to upload just the contents of your site folder to the root folder of your account on the server.
You should delete the old site folder and files that are currently there beforehand.

Changes in the value of the Arc property "Include in DDL Script" is not being saved.

I have arcs in my design that I want that the automatic DDL code not being generated because the FK are compound and the code generated for the validation of the arc in these more complex cases is not correct, so I created an explicit constraint on the table for this validation.
But the problem is that the Arc property "Include into DDL Script" is not being saved into the design.
If I unchecked the option for the arc and generate or preview the DDL the arc code is not generated.
But when I save the project, close and reopen the arcs have this option enabled again.
I've been checking the xml files for the arcs and this property is not being included, then by default generates always.

Window preferences not being saved

Hi there -
Using InDesign CS4 on Windows XP. A few days ago a problem started happening - whenever I close InDesign, my preferences for which windows (Tools, Pages, Links, Character) I have open are not being saved. Takes me 3-4 minutes every time i open InDesign to put everything back the way it should be.
I've installed updates, no dice, and have deleted the preferences file as suggested by this thread:http://forums.adobe.com/thread/526990
Any other steps I can take?

Those things are saved as part of the workspace. It sounds as if the current workspace file has become corrupt. Close ID, then go to your user profile and you'll find the workspaces folder under \Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\Version 6.0\<language>\Workspaces. Delete the "current" xml file for the workspace and restart ID. The workspace will be restored to the conditions set when it was saved, but hopefully will remember changes again when you close the program.

FTP settings not being saved

I moved my Dreamweaver 8 to a Win 7 machine and after installing the 8.02 update the FTP settings, user and password, are not being saved. I tried the regedit alterations with no joy. Any thing new for Win 7?

File Options not being saved

I appologize if this is the wrong forum, but I did a search and failed to find a related subject.
When I click on File>Options then modify them the way I want to, then close Designer 2008 and reopen it, they're back to the default values.
How can I retain my options even after closing designer and reopenning?

What version of Crystal are you using?
Are you a local PC Administrator also?
Try right clicking on the crw32.exe and selecting Run As Administrator and then change them.
Are you clicking the OK or Save button after making changes or simply closing the window using top right X button?
Those options are saved to the registry, only reason they are not being saved is you don't have permission or some anti-virus software or Restore Point is writing the original settings back when you close CR.
You may want to check with your IT people to see if they have pushed out some sort our Profile update that doesn't allow you to keep changes to the registry.
After making the changes and you create a new report do you see the changes? Don't close the designer.

Notes are not being Saved

Recently upgraded to an iPhone 3G S from the first generation iPhone. Synced my phone and everything is fine, but when I use the Notes application the notes are not being saved. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

Ensure that the "sync notes" box is checked in iTunes. Also note that the notes syncing feature doesn't work very well yet.
If you have a note on both the phone and the computer, and you change/update the one on the phone, the next time you sync the computer version will over write the phone version.

Mouse settings are not being saved

I just did a clean install of Lion (10.7.5) on a new SSD in a mac pro 1,1 and am having problems with my mouse settings. The settings are not being saved. When I change any of the buttons, nothing changes.
It's not a hardware problem with the mouse. If I boot up to my previous os drive, lion 10.7.5, the mouse settings are correct and function properly.

FOrgot to add, this is the basic wired mouse. I've also tried the wireless bluetooth mighty mouse as well with the exact same results.
I've tried removing the plist files with no success

I made a TON of edits in a video group, then duplicated that group into another file... and all my edits are gone.
I spent hours working on this, so please let me know what the hell happened and how I can make sure it never happens again...
also--why would CS6 come with such a devastating feature?!?! Who came up with this???

I did not see any reference to Save, Save_As, or Save_As_a_Copy. Did you use one of those?
