[Gnome 3.2]Nautilus reacts slowly, information about opening directory

I use the fallback mode in GNOME 3 and Nautilus.
After upgrade to Gnome 3.2
When you select Menu - Location - Home (or any other directory), Nautilus opens this directory. I can move between directories without problems.
However, the information about the opening directory – in the picture, "Otwieranie ..."(which means "Opening ...") – disappears after about 10 seconds, and the mouse cursor changes to the shape a clock.
It's pretty annoying. How do I fix this?

I'm having the exact same issues since the upgrade. My theme is broken too and unless I remove the user menu from the top panel, it stays huge regardless of any changes to the size in the panel properties. My clock also doesn't look/act like it should using the default theme (Adwaita).
My cursor does not change though, probably because I have a /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme file to set the default cursor (this also applies to the DM).
I guess all you can do for now is wait until the themes get fixed to work with GTK 3.2 or just move to another DE, it seems Gnome isn't dedicating much effort to the classic desktop.

Get Information About Open Windows

Hi everyone!!!!
I'm trying to make some kind of bot, the primary Idea is to automatize tasks. To do this, it would be really usefull to have information about the windows that are open, for example, if I open the notepad, It has a title, width, height, 1 menu with file help, etc. and it also has 1 control inside, 1 text area with with, height, etc.
So I know this can be done in Windows with the handler, I would like to know if there is a way to do this in JAVA and how.
There's a software called AutoIt, that has a small program called AutoIt v3 Window Info. This software shows the info I need, using the Finder Tool, but I need to make my own.

You could possibly write some JNI that interfaces with the relevant MS Windows API,
but that is no longer Java.

In addition to Apple Archives, there are still user groups out there that use and support the equipment you speak of, although you mention the cube and computers from Y2K and newer. This is the 'old folks home' of apple discussions. Some of us continue to use computers from the 1980's.

Our particular youth group dismantles older computers in a program called recycled science. We use past generations of equipment to teach future generations of kids about computer science and technology. Since Apple was ahead of the curve for consumer electronics, older Apple products provide ample educational components.
Stay green and use that older computer. We still surf the web with a G-4 mac mini. Configure your equipment to the optimal operating system rather than the latest system for best results.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem i am

From my application page, a new window have to popup with few of my table fields (it should be a separate window, Not like when you right click on page you will get a popup with cut, copy, paste etc) using HOTKeys. Kindly point me to the useful docs.

Create a Popup using PopupFactory, using a Component which listens to your hotkeys.

Ipod reacting slowly and FREEZING!

Had my ipod about 2 years, in the last few weeks it's started to react slowly sometimes when switching between menus, and it regularly (a couple of times a day) freezes in the middle of playing and I have to reset it.
Is this a problem with the battery (which means I can send it off to get it fixed) or something else (in which case I need a new ipod)?

How much free drive space is there? Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop, then click: Get Info. In the Get Info window, click the discovery triangle so it's facing down. You will see; Capacity and Available. Make sure you have 10% available disk space, 15% is better. Insufficient available space, *can cause performance issues,* system corruption, and possible loss of data.
Check the hard disk for errors. Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger and later) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need to use a utility like Tech Tool Pro or DiskWarrior
Try maintenance.

How do I get information about new legal requirements?

Hi
We are 4 people in a company that has 39 active company codes in about 25 countries. How can we subcribe to whenever SAP releases new reports that meets legal requirements in specific countries? Some of our companys have their bookkeeping taken care by a neighboring country, so the bookkeepers would not know if there is a new report released from SAP. So how can we get information about new reports without having to read throug all the release documentation?

this is a real problem.
What is my experience? The first priority is: try to use the SAP Standard as far as possible. No user-defined reports, no exits. Try to be always up to date with hotpackages.
A further help for me are the userforums here. If you have five minutes left, just have a look at all the questions and answers.
I know, there is a lot of stuff to read, but the releasenotes have to be checked. Unhappily I didn't find another way.
Sometimes SAP reacts just in time regarding new legal requests - and I can understand this. At least I have to say: It is not possible to manage this without having any support from the accountancy side. This enables you to search for this requests - instead of reacting.
If a country changes statutory requests regarding taxreporting or new taxtypes, changing of rates the guys from local accountancy ought give you a hint. Because they get this information at first.
I made good experiences with internal accounting forums or user groups (i. e. northern countries, westeurope, USA, southeurope).
Maybe it gives you a little help and I am very interested in all the answers to this thread.

For Host Name * Created Time Use This Command In PowerShell
Get-VM -Name (Read-Host "Type Your Vm Name") |select CreationTime , ComputerName
and for Create User , As i know you should see on Event Log .
Go To Event Log Viewer--->Applications And Services Logs--->Microsoft--->Windows--->Hyper-V-VMMS--->Operational
You can see in Event Log who create the Vm.

In particular, I am analyzing the example "Even Angle Reference Signal Processing (Digital Tacho, DAQmx).vi", whose documentation I am reproducing in the following:
DESCRIPTIONS:
This VI demonstrates how to extract even angle reference signals and remove the slow-roll errors. It uses DAQmx VIs to acquire sound or vibration signals and a digital tachometer signal. This VI includes a two-step process: acquire data at low rotational speed to extract even angle reference; use the even angle reference to remove the errors in the vibration signal acquired at normal operation.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Run the VI.
2. On the DAQ Configurations tab, specify the sample rate, samples per channel, device and channel configurations, and tachometer channel information.
NOTE: You need to use DSA PXI-447x/PXI-446x and PXI TIO device in a PXI chassis to run this example. The DSA device must be in slot 2 of the PXI chassis.
3. Switch to Extract Even Angle Reference tab. Specify the number of samples to acquire and the # of revs in reference which determines the number of samples in even angle reference. Click Start to take a one-shot data acquisition of the vibration and tachometer signals. After the acquisition, you can see the extracted even angle references in Even Angle Reference.
4. Switch to the Remove Slow-roll Errors tab. Click Start to acquire data continuously and view the compensate results. Click Stop in this tab to stop the acquisition.

My question is: How is the synchronization produced at the time of the compensation ? How is it possible to eliminate the errors in a synchronized fashion with respect to the surface of the shaft bearing in mind that I am acquired data at a low rotation speed in order to get the "even angle reference" and then I use it to remove the errors in the vibration signal acquired at normal operation. In this application both operations are made in different acquisitions, therefore the reference of the correction signal is lost. Is it simply compensated without synchronizing ?
Our application is based on FPGA and we need to clarity those aspects before implementing the procedure.

How do I use my serial number to find information about my MacBook Pro's Processor and RAM?

So I want to find information about my MacBook Pro's processor and RAM using the serial number because the MacBook no longer works. I remember being able to find this information on the apple website before, maybe by using the coverage checker. Did they take this information out of the coverage checker? Is it no longer possible for a costumer to obtain this information?

Append the last three characters of it to http://www.everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/?search_keywords= and load the page.
This won't reveal how much RAM it currently has installed.

Changing from dev to standard edition causes "Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user error code 0x6e."

We recently upgrade our SQL Server 2012 SP1 (64bit) dev edition to standard edition, after we purchased the required licence and it was deployed in production.
Since the edition change, we are now receiving the following error, with some of our jobs, which have an e-mail step in them, which is causing the jobs to fail.
Msg 14661,Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_send_dbmail, Line 517
Query execution failed: Msg 15404, Level 16, State 19, Server BL-SVR15, Line 1
Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'BLUELIZARD\savaa', error code 0x6e.
Any ideas how to fix this issue? We were also having a similar error, when executing the jobs, but changing the job owner to SA has fixed this issue.

Which user account you used for SQL Server service, domain account or local account?
If it is domain account, are you able to log in to a machine with it?
Make sure that the password of account is not expired.
Also, grant the user Allowed to Authenticate permission and see how it helps.

Dear sap colleages
I need to know these information about an ASSET:
Purchased orders,
Items from purchase orders,
which of these items i've received, i've paid (also date), i've not paid ( amount of debt related to asset)
payments in advanced (date),
wich of these payments have been cleared (clearing date) and wich not,
who is the vendor,
other expenses (such as delivery)
the amount of taxes,
invoices related and NOT RELATED TO purchase order
payments without invoice
Which transactions do i need to follow?
or
Which document flow?
or
Which tables? Wich keys?
or
Is there a standard report that can give me such information?
Any documentation and/or code will be appreciated.
I need to program a report to integrate all these information.

Regarding payments to vendors,refer to FBL1N - Display/Change Line Items .
Select the company code and then open items radio button and today date.It will show what are payments still to be paid to the vendor.If you select cleared items, it will show the payments paid to the vendor.If you select all items radio button, it will show all paid and unpaid payments to the vendor.
Check this report whether it fills your requirment.
When the user posts the business transaction, he has to input all the details, otherwise some of the information may be missing.
Please let me know if you need more information.
