Gnome-Do no longer finds any applications - at all
The only applications are those that are ran via terminal, if I want to run firefox I have to type firefox and I can run it, but I can't type fir... nothing comes up at all.
It finds absolutely nothing, no programs at all. I am using Gnome-Do 0.8.

Yes, I am running 10.5.4. I need to update my profile on these message boards. My stats below are the most current. Anyway, I am using port 25, and the SMTP address is smtp.me.com. I did not set this part up manually; when I added my MobileMe account, I chose the "Add Account" button from the Preferences->Accounts window, typed in my name, e-mail address, and password, and Mail did the rest for me. Is it possible that the Mail app used the wrong SMTP information? Perhaps someone here who is using MobileMe with Mail app can confirm that the server should be "smtp.me.com" on port 25 with SSL enabled.
EDIT: As I am going into the Activity Window, the outgoing MobileMe just started working! E-mails are sending! Hooray!
Now on to the bigger problem...why, when I click Get Mail, does nothing happen?! Why isn't Mail app checking for mail every five minutes, as I have set up? And why does Mail app freeze when I try to quit?! Again, thanks for the help!

IDoc TO File: Receiver Determination did not find any receivers at all
Hi,
We have IDoc to file scenario, where based on attributes present in IDoc we have configured different receivers.
Everything was working fine and files were getting created based on the receiver determination criteria.
But there is one change done in custom IDoc to re position the attributes.
Idoc before changes was having NAME1 and NAME2 above KATR6 and KATR7 and after change it looks like below:
So there is no change in segment and no change in mapping but the attributes KATR6 and KATR7 are used to determine the receiver.
Cache refresh is done for both ESR and ID. I have re - entered the receiver determination criteria just to ensure that change should reflect.
But still when I am triggering outbound IDoc from ECC to PI, the transaction is getting errored out with below error:
"ErrText": "Processing error = Receiver Determination did not find any receivers at all",
Can any one providee some idea what could be the reason and what is the right approach to resolve this issue.

After running the configuration Iam getting following error message

My System is the SAP Netweaver Process Intgration 7.4 single Java stack
Do you have any idea how to fix this issue?

Hi I am having Wi fi connectivity issues , while using my computer the wi fi dropped out , I can no longer connect and no networks come up. I have tried looking into the air port, trying manually to connect to the desired network with no success , it says the Wi fi is turned on. I am at a loss to why it will no longer connect, please if you have any suggestions,as I tried to ring apple support but my warranty has expired this is my first major issue since I purchased it in 2009.

I had the same problem two months ago but i turned off the i-phone for 8 hours and then it was okay... Now it happened again.... I tried to restart the modem but whilst my laptop is connected regularly, my phone still cannot find any wi-fi networks... I restart the i-phone, i reset it, i chose reset network settings, reset all settings, i turned it off for a whole day in case it was overloaded, i turned on the airplane mode and turned it off again, i put it into the freezer for 10 minutes within a zipped bag but 3 days now and i still cannot be connected to my home wifi... I went to the technician today and he told me that it means that wi-fi is broken and that i need to change it with a charge of 70 euro but i have to give my phone for 10 working days so as to be fixed... I am so frustrated and i don't know if i want to give 70 euro for wifi since i don't know if it would make the same problems again...

Since installing the 6.0.4 Safari update via the Mac App store, I have a host of problems:
1. Mail can no longer find "an associated app" when I click on a url in a mail message
2. The Share button (extension) in the Safari toolbar no longer works
3. Any attempt to open a new url results in a new safari window being opened although in my preferences I have "open new windows in tabs" selected
4. If I click on a tab that was previously open I am continually asked to refresh the window
5. I have had about a half dozen "Safari not responding" events since the upgrade, forcing me to Force Quit - generally when I'm trying to use one of the extensions or returning to a prebiously opened tab
6. Safari is intermittently unresponsive to mouse clicks -functionality can only be restored by refreshing the page
7. Safari can no longer find my passwords for some extensions (e.g. Buffer)
8. Safari is EXTREMELY slow loading pages - stalls out a few moments after entering url (or switching back to that tab) - sometimes for as long as 2 or 3 minutes
All the Safari extensions I have were eeither pre-installed or from Apple's Safari extensions page.
The install also corrupted my iCloud (AppleID) password, but thiswas easily fixed in Keychain.
Anyone have a fix or know of any software conflicts that could be responsible?

Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then uninstall them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by reinstalling it. That will revert its settings to the defaults. -
After an upgrade of iOS on my iPhone 3GS the App Store doesn't find any applications. Why ??
I just upgraded my old iPhone 3GS to iOS 6.1.6 hoping it would allow me to use at least some basic apps, but seems like the searching engine the App Store doesn't work and I can't even find any of them.
Any ideas what could be the reason ?

Airport Extreme on my Mac Pro isnt finding any networks at all
hello, i just installed and Airport Extreme card in my Mac Pro yesterday configured it and it isnt finding any kind of wireless networks to connect to, and the router for my network is only 20 feet away from my Mac Pro, any ideas of why this could be?
Okay but what if....
I bought a new Mac Pro Quad on Friday night at an actual Apple store. They only carried stock base models, so I loaded up on extras like a 750 GB drive, 6GB more memory, and also AP Extreme & BT. They sold it to me, didn't bat an eye about it being a dealer only installed item. But much like some of the other users I've seen posted, cannot seem to find instructions on HOW to install it.
But I'd have to presume that a store full of Apple experts, all fawning over my new Quad and 30" monitor...that at least one of them would have stopped me from buying it. -

When I search for applications in Activities in gnome-shell, no applications are returned. I can still go to the Applications tab, where all applications are visible. In the .xsession-error log I find this error

Since upgrading to yosemite, I can no longer find any Windows Computers on my domain
We upgraded two out of three iMacs to Yosemite a while back. Since that time, the two that are on Yosemite cannot see any non-mac computers in the network browser. We can manually connect by going to Go / Connect to Server in Finder, and it works using either the IP or the relative path (smb://cpu1234/share). The Mavericks computer still sees the entire network with no problems.
Does anyone know how to fix this uber-frustrating issue?Hi olejim51,

It sounds like you're not able to connect to your ISPs mail server on your iMac or MacBook Air.

Where can I find Server Admin after installing Mountain Lion? I can not find it on the store or anywhere? Please help, I need it to connect to my server from my other mac's, in order to administrate without logging in to the server.
If you want the new OS X Server (Mountain Lion) look for "OS X Server" in the App Store.
Server Admin no longer exists for OS X Server - the main functionality like Mail service and Open Directory has been simplified and integrated within the new server app.
The optional Server Admin add-on for Lion was only available from the Apple support site, not from the App store. -
Why is my DiskUtility no longer finding any permissions which need repair?
In the past 4-6 weeks Disk Utility, both on my iMac and my MacBook always gives me a clean bill of health when I use it to verify/repair permissions.
In the past, I alwyas have had something which had to be repaired.
Bothers me that Disk Utility finds nothing. I install,uninstall lots of software and would expect permissions need tweaks after installing Security patches and such
IS it possible that a recent OS patch (security or other) has affected Disk Utility?
It just does not seem right that suddenly no permission needs repair.
Any one else finding that they , too, now always have clean bill of health with permissions, using Disk Utility?I think some of the gurus to whom you refer need an education.
We all recommend repairing the hard drive and permissions before installing new software not because it's a requirement but because it's a precaution against poorly maintained systems. Doing so will help prevent problems for users who simply don't know what they are doing or never maintain their computer properly. Even toasters need to be cleaned once in a while, if you get my meaning.

Spotlight (and Alfred) aren't Finding Any Applications added after Mountain Lion Upgrade
I just upgraded from Snow Leapard to Mountain Lion.
Now any new applications I add won't appear in Spotlight (or Alfred) If I download them from the App Store, If they are downloaded external from App Store It works Fine
I have tried re-Indexing but It didn't help.
Can anyone Help me out?Well my problem was in my home pictures folder. I looked at the privileges of one of the other folders in the home folder, changed the privileges of the pictures folder to match and chose apply to enclosed items. Do you know what I'm talking about? Like if you choose get info on a file or folder you can see the sharing and permissions at the bottom?
In your case, since it's the applications folder, you might want to try to repair permissions from the disk utility. -

Open Activity Monitor (in your Utilites folder within your Applications folder)
Look for "SystemUIServer". Select it by clicking on it's name once (it will become highlighted) and then press "Quit Process" (the stop sign in the upper left). When the confirmation dialogue appears, select "Force Quit". Wait a few seconds and the menu bar will rebuild itself with a now-functioning Spotlight.

can anyone help me through this? i have had this happen a few times but my iTunes list usually comes back just fine and i have all of the content restored.
I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first.
