Gnome-shell integrated chat window work only restart shell

Hi all.
if somebody contact me, does not show the shell notification chat, but it opens an empathy window chat.
But if restart the shell (alt+f2 and press r), the next time that somebody contacts me, the shell notification chat appears!
Can somebody help me to fix this bug, or explain me how can i report this in the gnome community?

PDF in new Window works only once?

Hello,
I have a problem showing a PDF in a new window. I get my PDF created from a BAPI as a byte[] - works fine. To show the PDF I use the follwong code in an action of a button:

It works fine - but just the <b>first time</b> I press the button. Window is opened and inside Acrobat Reader openes with my PDF.
I close that and press button again. Window openes but no PDF anymore?! Any hints?

I have a problem. I'm trying to display a smartform from a webdynpro application, but when I try to write:
IWDWebResource pdfResource = WDWebResource.getWebResource
    (pdfContent, WDWebResourceType.PDF);
wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager().createExternalWindow(
    pdfResource.getURL(),"Title",true).open();
the program does not recognize the pdfResource variable. It says that it cannot resolve it.
Any hints?

WIM - Chat window space --- Do we have any limit?

I try to install WIM for the client, and they wonder whether there is any limit on chat window space. Does anyone know what limits chat window may have?

There is setting "Chat - Agent Chat Message Maximum Length" at Department settings group, you can Use this setting to determine the maximum length of messages sent by agents to customers.
Setting "Chat - Automatic Session Closure Interval (Seconds)" defines maximum how long chat can stay on. By default it is 4 hrs.
Chat window is only one, agent has to switch between the assigned chats. chat reply pane is used for the chat which agent has selected in the inbox at that time. Agent can be assigned multiple chats. Setting "Chat - User Max Load" defines maximum chat activities that can be assigned to a user at a given moment. When an agent reaches the maximum number, new chats cannot be assigned to the agent.

Gnome Shell 3.4 Windows List

is there any way to get window list in gnome shell 3.4 ? I've tried a lot of packages including these in aur without success

Just moved my email from entourage to Mail. Having real problems with getting my signatures to work properly. When adding in a small company logo, windows computers only receive signature as an attachment. Am sending email as Rich Text. Any ideas on a fix

Just moved my email from Entourage to Mail. Having real problems with getting my signatures to work properly despite sending email as Rich Text.
When adding in a small company logo to the signature, PC's / windows computers only receive signature and logo as attachments.
I've tried all possible fixes I can find including getting a PC user to format the logo but no joy. Has anyone experienced this and any ideas on a fix gratefully received.

Responsibility rules : Agent determination only works after restarting the WF

Hi Experts,
We are facing a very strange issue related to agent determination in one of our custom workflow:
For agent determination we are using a responsibility rule with two parameters "Company code" and "Plant".
The responsibility rule works well and returns the agents for all the company code.
Recently I have added few company codes to this responsibility rule in the same way we used to maintain and simulate it . It returns the correct agent for newly added company codes but at run time the agent determination is getting failed and the WF goes into an error because of it. However when i restart the WF via SWPR it works well and the agent determination works well either.
This is only happening for newly added company codes the old ones agent determination work well at the run-time.
Pls suggest what could cause this problem. If there is a problem in responsibility rule then why it works after restarting from SWPR.

Yes I could replicate this issue in test system and it works fine there.
2. Is this a true responsibility rule or does e.g. a function module get called?
We have a responsibility where several responsibilities have been added with two parameters "company codes" and "plant". Every responsibility has a POSITION assigned into it and this position contains the related users.
This responsibility rule is getting called in one other rule with FM. Here in this another rule we are calling the responsibility rule by using the standard FM RH_GET_ACTORS to fill the ACTOR_TAB.
I have tried to simulate both the rules and it returned correct agents but failing at run time.

Firefox 8, Gmail chat issue; It ceased working, i can not type in the chat window, although i can get text that is sent to me. ideas?

the chat window field in which i type the message seems to not work
i can click on it but can not type
even tried opening the chat message in a new pop up window
and typing there, same result. wont let me type

Flash Player integrated with Windows 8 has stopped working...can't seem to upgrade to newer version Flash Player ?

One day watched videos with no problem. Next day, can't watch videos! Site says I need Flash 10.0 or higher. When I try to check what version I have, it says that Flash player is integrated with Windows 8, no need to install Flash Player. I am thinking that there are newer versions of Flash Player than what is integrated with Windows 8, but it's like I'm going around in circles, can't seem to upgrade to a newer version.

“Try Safe boot and then restart with only Aperture open. Still doent work write back with more details like Ram, HD capacity/free space. Are these thumbnails or Previews? Have you turned off building previews in AP preferances?

Starting up into Safe Mode does several things:
1 It forces a directory check of the startup volume.
2 It loads only required kernel extensions (some of the items in /System/Library/Extensions).
3 In Mac OS X v10.3.9 or earlier, Safe Mode runs only Apple-installed startup items (such items may be installed either in /Library/StartupItems or in /System/Library/StartupItems; these are different than user-selected account login items).
4 It disables all fonts other than those in /System/Library/Fonts (Mac OS X v10.4 or later).
5 It moves to the Trash all font caches normally stored in /Library/Caches/com.apple.ATS/(uid)/ , where (uid) is a user ID number such as 501 (Mac OS X v10.4 or later).
6 It disables all startup items and login items (Mac OS X v10.4 or later).
7 Mac OS X v10.5.6 or later: A Safe Boot deletes the dynamic loader shared cache at (/var/db/dyld/). A cache with issues may cause a blue screen on startup, particularly after a Software Update. Restarting normally recreates this cache.”
As I don’t know much about the technical aspects of computers, I don’t really understand the first answer, and it sounds like following it might produce unwanted changes.
But I understand your questions, so I’ll try to answer them;
"loading from any Project" means that I encounter the problem when I’m using a project, possibly after/because I’ve left the Mac on overnight, and/or I’ve made a lot of adjustments, and, once the problem is there, it happens in any other project which I open – the images load then disappear.
I can see images in the Browser, so it only happens in the Viewer(s).
I’m afraid I don’t understand what you mean by: “If you select "Photos" from near the top of the Library tab of the Inspector, does it show you all of your Images?”. I am a newcomer to Aperture, so I don’t know what some of the buttons are for yet, but when I want to look at and adjust my pictures, I import them, as referenced images, then Aperture creates a folder/project in the Library. When I click on that Project (when it’s working properly), all the images appear in the Browser or the Viewers – without me needing to “select Photos from near the top of the Library tab of the Inspector”. I selected it and looked at all the items in the dropdown menu, but none of them seems to offer the option to ‘show all the images’. So I’m not sure how to answer your question except to say that – yes, I can see all the pictures in the Browser or the Viewers (when it’s working properly), but I don’t seem to need to use the Photos button to achieve this.
Did Aperture work before?
Yes it worked ok for a while, but I only purchased it on 24th May.
If I understand correctly, the difference between thumbnail and preview is that the thumbnail is what I see when the “Loading” wheel is turning, and the disappearance of this wheel after a few seconds means that I am now looking at the preview (also, the thumbnail cannot be adjusted).
So I think the problem occurs when the thumbnail has finished loading; the viewer going blank/grey might mean that it is not showing the preview.
But I have not changed the default Preview settings in Aperture Preferences.

I have noticed another problem: I cannot apply the same rating to multiple images: following the instructions, I select a group of contiguous (or non- contiguous) images, choose a selection eg “5stars” using the keyboard, but the stars only appear in the last selected image – even though all the images are still showing as selected.”

EbaY "live chat" window doesn't work properly in Safari.

Currently running Safari 2.0.2, I believe the latest. On the most part, this browser works great but I am having issues with the "live chat" window aspect of ebaY. I can't type the letter "t" and the actual window gui is not fully extended as I can't see the bottom of the window displaying the status bar. Is this an issue with ebaY's application or Safari?

Update: I've installed the lastest Firefox 1.5 and it seems to be doing the job that Safari is having trouble with. That is at least properly handling the "live chat" window in ebaY, including being able to type the letter t and displaying the complete gui window. I hope Apple gets on the ball about fixing this bug.

Ctrl-# space switching stops working, only comes back with restart

Ctrl-# (used to switch spaces) will randomly stop working for me in Mavericks. Turning it off and back on in the control panel does not bring it back, only restarting will. Any ideas why this might be?

Mac will only restart in Windows via Bootcamp.......Help!!

Ok....My Mac has XP on BC 2.1. When I click the bottom right hand corner in Windows to restart in Mac it only restarts in Windows. Then When I'm in Mac and there is a software update, still, it only restarts in Mac OS. Last, when I go to system preferences, and Startup Disk, it still only will restarts in Windows. WHAT!?! It will however let me select Mac when I hold Option Key at boot then it Will boot into Mac. Any ideas why?

I would love to edit this post but I can't. I meant to say that it even restarts after an Apple Software Update in Windows. Basically anytime it restarts (even if I tell it not to) it is in Windows. The only exception is for when I hold option key, then I can get it into Mac. And my OS is 10.5.6 not 10.4.6.

Chat Alerts too quite and chat window only opens in background

I have users who find the IM alerts too quiet to hear, even with every volume setting maxed, and find that the chat window is in the background so they do not have a visual queue beyond the taskbar button highlighted. Is there anything we can do about the sound issue - is anyone else noticing the IM chat alerts are very quite, too quiet to hear, and is there a way to make the chat window come to the foreground when a new chat arrives?
