If someone has the time and wishes to try make a pkg out of it. The good thing is, that it won't have newer version.

kdetv and tvtime are very good for watching TV, but both can't capture in the broadcast.

i tried XDTV, but i didn't like it, it has an ugly interface (and was wery wery slow on my A64 too!), crashed sometimes...
I tried then G4vl, its a GUI frontent to transcode, and uses the config files of xawtv, so you have to generate the channels with xawtv, then here you go...
You have to recompille transcode with --enable-v4l option in order to work with Gv4l. It much better then xdtv imho, worked pretty good 4 me.

Mac OS X (GUI) app for accessing iTunes U directly

I have created a Mac OS X Core Data application that some of you might find useful. Basically, it's a tool that generates an iTunes U URL from your site URL, shared secret, user identity, etc. There are two main reasons I created the app:
1. You haven't yet setup your portal site but you'd still like to access iTunes U just the same. This is especially the case when you get that e-mail from Apple with your site info.
2. You want to test accessing iTunes U as specific users with specific permissions. My app lets you save as many identites as you'd like.
If you'd like to mess with the app, drop me a line (maito:[email protected]). If there's enough interest, I'll setup a download page.

Well, I found out a couple of things.
A nice person from Apple reported that my app must have been built on a PPC Mac. That is very true ... I never even thought to check that little checkbox in XCode that builds code as Universal. So I did that.
Problem is that on an Intel Mac, the generated string is no longer cool. I "suspect" that the culprit may be in the SHA-256 C routines Apple provided us (and upon which my code is based). There's a lot of hex in there ... so there could be a lurking endian issue buried deep insde the code. I'm checking into that.
For now, I would say, stick with Rosetta when running the app.
Also, a number of people asked for user-interface tweaks. I'll make them.

It is some kind of new even for me but I try to find away to do arch-linux setup; while I am chrooting in to the arch linux and using live mediums other than arch or arch livecd familys such as archbang.
Let say I am using crunchbang liveusb and I installed arch using it.
now that I installed it. I want to setup openbox and also I want to be in graphical DE. So I want to find a way to do jobs such as running gksudo (it is just an example) and obconf or menumaker in chroot.
In IRC; i advised to do:
$ export DISPLAY=':0'
$ xhost +localhost
$ echo $DISPLAY
$ export EDITOR=nano
it'll allow *all* local connections (including your chroot)
But still when I do obconf in terminal in chroot I get
(chroot) [root@crunchbang /]# obconf

I think the point tomk was driving at was that if you absolutely need a graphical environment to install Arch, or are unwilling to go through the configuration of the vanilla packages provided, Arch probably isn't the distro for you. Besides, since all you really need to complete your installation once Openbox is installed are a terminal, web browser and file manager--to access the wiki and do research, use pacman and (if so desired) use the ABS and AUR tools--there isn't much difficulty to finishing your installation. Oh, and there's this, too; a simple, two-second search turned that up.

Hello, thank you for your prompt answer. I did have an idea that Home sharing might be the answer but could not quite figure out how to do it. I have enabled home sharing in my iTunes account, put in username and password, clicked on creat etc. But the homs sharing icon doew not appear in the left side of iTunes. So I got stuck. Any further ideas?

Is there a way for the CC desktop app to recognize already installed software? Initially the CC app had all my installed software listed but since one of the patches it no longer knows what I have installed. I can still use everything but I'm worried I will encounter issues if I am unable to change this situation. I have already looked through multiple discussions looking for an answer so if I have missed the solution my bad.

You would have to run teh Cleaner tool and reinstal lfrom scratch. Something botched your installer database.

Are you trying to download directly from iPhone?
If true, go to Settings > Store > Apple ID > sign out then sign back in again.

Possibly, check at the Adobe site. You can also drag the attachment to the desktop, open preview, under file click open set the pane to search desktop find the attachment select it and you can read PDF's in preview.

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Maybe you went back to the store and repurhcased it. To downlaod past purhcases for free, you need to use your purhcase history.
