Go back one page does not work

Since I had to reinstall Firefox 3.6.15, the "go back one Page" does not work in many cases. Sometimes by clicking on history and manually returning, it works. Id there a fix for this problem, because it is new.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Printing only odd/even numbered pages does not work

I've got following problem: Printing only odd/even numbered pages does not work. Not in Preview, nor Adobe Reader. I Don't know why. i'm using a hp Color LaserJet 2550L. I just worked fine, but I cannot remember the time this failing first occured. I really hope the problem will be solved quick and easy.

Mine does not work either. I have trashed prefs, rewrote permissions, ran Disk Utility from a separate HD, etc. and I cannot get this feature to work.
I got 45 odd pages to print last night and now it won't print odd or even pages. I am reduced to printing every backside page one at a time. If I would have known about this problem before I could have saved myself an hour and just printed them all on single sided sheets. I tried to save paper and now I'm screwed (timewise)......
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

OEM 12c: buttons in GUI page does not work

Hi,
I am using OEM12c, we just installed BI publisher last week and we have problem configure it to integrate with OEM12c. One day after the failed configuration, one of the target Authorization Policy Manager (oracle.security.apm) shows down, then we start seeing GUI problems on the console:
1. Under My Oracle Support, all links except for the Community link show blank pages.
2. Buttons in a lot of pages does not work. For example, view/edit/create on the administer page, nothing happen when click on these buttons. This is all overall the GUI, I think in general http post method is not working. Basically the GUI is un-workable.
Any suggestion to how to fix these problem?

I know how to use about:config & have had the usual problems with newtab page tiles but this is more like a bug- using 33.0.1. Doesn't show tiles icon in top right corner just shows a gear that is used to hide the empty tiles that I can't fill with sites. First it would only show 2 rows of 4 columns even though I had it set to 5 & 6 then few days later for no reason they went empty with a serrated line around the tiles & can't drag from the bookmarks---- really bloody annoying!!!!!!! Possibly a setting in the about:config but i can't fig it out?

First of all, I'd recomend resetting the iPod. Do this by pressing the 'Menu' and 'Center" buttons for 10 seconds or until the Apple logo appears.
If this doesn't work, then it sounds like a hardware fault.
To identify the issue, if you have one, try plugging the iPod into a speaker through the dock. If this works, then the issue is with the headphone jack. If not then the logic board is dead. If the iPod is less than a year old, then it can be repaired by Apple for free. Just book an appointment for the Genius bar.
If not then, you could see about sending it to an iPod Repair Company, such as my own. A replacement headphone jack would cost £30.00 in the UK, including next day delivery. Other companies you could try would beUKiPodRepairs, but we guarantee to beat any quote that you get.

One headphone does not work

My left head phone made by apple does not work very well.
The sound quality on the left one is very poor and it's volume is very quiet compared to my right headphone.
I have tried other headphones to work with my iPod but the left one still does not work.
This has happened to other people I know, they sent it in to Apple, and Apple did nothing to the iPod. IT IS NOT THE HEADPHONES.
The iPod is the part that has the problem.

If you have tried different headphones with your iPod
and only one channel is working then probably a
connection between the jack and the logic board has
broken. This has been happending with headphone jacks
since they have had headphone jacks.
All too often it is caused by jerking the headphone
plug out of the jack, and it ends up coming out
slightly at an angle. This can cause pressure on the
jack and break a solder. Other times it is just a
factory defect. If you are sending yours in they will
fix it either way, but in the future I'd be very
careful when plugging in or removing the headphone
plug.
I'd went through a series of Sony high-end cassette players that had this exact problem...luckily my credit card's insurance covered their replacement given that they all failed after the Sony 90 day warrant expired. As a matter of act it was that experience that brought me to Apple iPods.

Firefox Find on Page does not work reliably in XML.

I'm troubleshooting xml in firefox. I noticed that CTRL -F find on page does not work for finding strings "reliably".
Sometimes it finds something and sometimes it doesn't.

You can find next, next, if it worked, but then if you find previous it will fail at some point.
(View source, find on page) works though.. but not a native page.

Make sure that "Match case" on the find bar (Ctrl+F) doesn't have a check mark.

Drop list next to Forward and Back one page in not in current 5.0 or 4.0. Is this available some way, or do I have to go back to version 3?

In version 3.x, there was a down arrow next to the Back and Forward one page lateral arrows that displayed recent pages accessed in order. This made it easy to locate a page several steps away. Now it is necessary to go to the History menu at the top bar to accomplish the same result. Can the drop menu in the current bar be reinserted?

Back USB port does not work

I noticed that one USB port(All other ports appear to be working)in the back of my Mac Pro does not work.
Aside from taking my Mac Pro in for a repair, is there any other way to fix this problem?

The Help Link from the Application Pages Does not Work for Peoplesoft Campus Solutions 9.0

I have a problem, I have been trying to set up the Help Link from the Application Pages for Peoplesoft Campus Solutions 9.0 according to the instructions given in the Document: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17566_01/epm91pbr0/eng/psbooks/EnablingtheHelpLinkfromApplicationPages.pdf , (referenced in the Doc ID 1289101.1, E-PB: How to Set Up the Context Sensitive Help with Hosted PeopleBooks using Universal Linking).
I follow the instructions of that document carefully:
I go to: PeopleTools -> Web Profile -> Web Profile Configuration
    2. Then I choose the Web Profile: "Development".
    3. Then Change the value for the Help URL field by entering the following URL format: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hrcs90r5 , the ctx parameter selected is the one that correspond to the Campus Solutions (hrcs90r5) according to the Product Line Code Table (ULinkID) especified in the mentioned document.
    4. Stop the Web Domain and Clear cache.
    5. Start the Web Domain again.
After setting up the Web Profile Configuration I test the help links, thas is why I click in the Help link in any Peoplesoft CS 9.0 Application Page (modify a person), but the next error message appears: "We're sorry, the topic you requested was not found.".
I tried many combinations with the ctx parameters URL but it does not work yet.
I did the same test, but this time using the Help URL field with a HRMS ctx parameter by entering the following URL format: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hcm92pbr5 , and It works fine !!!
According to the previous test you realize that It works with HRMS ctx parameter but not with Campus Solutions 9.0 ctx parameter, Does anybody know what else can I do ? Am I doing anything wrong or missing? or maybe the Oracle's ctx parameter for Campus Solutions URL It is broken simply.

2799444 - The page you are testing with appears to be a Workforce Administration page. Is that correct?
The CS PeopleBooks would only work for CS pages, e.g.: try navigating to Main Menu > Campus Community > Personal Information > Add/Update a Person
Also, you can use multiple ctx parameters:
E.g.: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hrcs90r5&ctx=hcm92pbr5&ctx=pt852pbh2
This way the help would work for the HR related pages like Workforce Administration, Campus Solutions pages like Campus Community and also PeopleTools pages like Web Profile Configuration. Hope this clarifies your question. Thanks!

LOV /ADF UIX pages does not work on the older version od UIX page

I have recently migrated UIX project from the Jdeveoper 9i to Jdev10g version 1.0.1.2, everything work without any issue, however when I try to create a LOV or any component that are ADF-UIX based, but it does not work I don't even get any error, it just does not work based on the ADF-UIX (Expression base component),

I too have problems with LOVs in UIX pages. I have
some that you have to run twice to get back a value.To solve this problem,
1) open your UIX page where you create a new row
2) in the Structure window, click third tab "UI Model"
3) double-click the control action binding corresponding to Create
4) select CreateInsert from the list
The problem is related to the fix we introduced for the "Blank Row Issue" (see http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/tips/muench/blankrow/index.html).

Host admin page does not work after insatlling YAST for suse9

I am using 10205 grid and when I try to go to admin tab in grid it say YAST patch needs to be installed which I did but still it does not work.
Anyone having same issue and how to resolve this. I also followed the metaling note for this issue which was a workaround for a bug but still it did not work.
Any ideas?

I clicked on the link that was provided on the GC host admin page and downloaded the patch and as root applied it to the server without any errors. The following are the steps:
When I go the host page then administration tab it says the following:
Install the SUSE patch for YAST from http://oss.oracle.com/projects/yast
Downloaded the patch yast-EM-1.7.0-0.1.noarch.rpm
I've installed the patch and restarted the agent and the permissions on all the files are set to 755 according to note

after applying the YAST patch I clicked finish and nothing happens. I've restarted ther OMS as well but no effect. I was wondering if anyone else having the issue?

"Go Back One Page" doesn't work on first page visited from Home Page

When opening FF4.0, my homepage opens fine. Whether I manually type a webpage address, use a book mark from list or button bar, once that page opens, the "Go Back One Page" button is still gray and the only way to get back home is to click the "Home" button.
I tried restarting program and it did not correct anything. I next tried restarting computer and that did not do anything either.
My system: Core2Quad Q8400 with 8G RAM. BIOS is up to date, as well as all drivers for all hardware.

Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately browser cache wasn't the problem. I use Firefox(default), IE and Opera for testing and I close the browser most of the times after I deploy the project. Even tough if I don't close the browser I hit the ctrl+f5 several times to avoid the cache problems. I tryed setting the browser to check newer versions every time I open the page, but that didn't help either.
Like I said the problem occurs in our public deployment server too with everybody who enters the page first time in each session. After login they get the pages with stylesheet within and if they logout they will be redirected to same login page and the stylesheet is loaded correctly. Then if they restart the browser and try to login the application again, they will be faced the same problem.
Is there anything else I can try?
