Go back to old eclipse interface?

Hi. Eclipse upgraded a while ago, and the whole interface style changed. All the borders and toolbar backgrounds are like a steel grey. I'm finding some parts have white letters on light-grey backgrounds. There's no problem with the editor and package explorer, as I can specify colours etc. in the preferences. The previous version seemed like it was using the system theme (I use Xfce-dusk), and I loved it. Is there a way to tell eclipse to go back to the old interface without downgrading it to the previous version?

Hi. Thanks for your reply. It didn't work, but your suggestion helped me fix part of the problem. The eclipse ui is styled using css. It took me an hour, but I edited these files to my liking
/usr/share/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.platform_4.2.0.v201206081400/css/e4_basestyle.css , e4_default_gtk.css , and e4_classic_winxp.css (and maybe e4_default.css)
I switched to classic as kmacleod suggested, and this enabled me to style the selected tab using e4_classic_winxp.css (I couldn't find the right css class to do it in gtk mode).
If I could figure out how to put attachments on this reply, I would include a screenshot and the css and epf files that generate my theme, in case anyone else likes light text on dark background like me.
I expect that this will be an ongoing problem with eclipse as I update to newer versions. Likely, the updates will overwrite my custom css, and I'll keep having to replace or modify them...arrgg. I personally think that if they were going to change from using the system theme to css, they should at least give the option to easily revert to system theme. I chose my system theme for a reason, I like the way the windows, buttons, tabs, menus, etc. look...that's why I chose it. Why wouldn't all applications use the system theme so that one's applications all have a consistent look? **end of rant**

If you had the hard drive from the original machine, a backup of the same, an iPod with the media, or a subscription to iTunes Match then there would have been hope, but alas no.

How to switch back to old depreciation calc method during upgrade to ECC6.0

Hi Everyone,
We are doing a technical upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 and we have activated the enterprise extension EA-FIN via SWF5 (switch framework) to use the functionality of accrual engine, closing cockpit etc. However, activating EA-FIN has activated the new depreciation calculation method (Period based depreciation calculation) which, we do not want. We still want to continue using old depreciation method (transaction based depreciation calculation).
So, is there a customization that turns off the new depreciation calculation? Or an OSS note? I read in SDN Wiki and it said, one has to post a customer message (OSS) to SAP and they in turn provide the notes to switch back to old depreciation method and also it is mentioned that these notes are not available in service market place. Is that how it is? Had anyone got into this issue before? Please help me in this regard.

I changed my password on my computer a few weeks back. Since then my iphone 5s will not let me know when I have a new email. In order to get my emails I have to push the mail icon, wait for it to connect and check to see if there are any new emails. Upon doing this, my emails will come through. I went to the Apple store today and they tried putting in my new password on my iphone. When I left the store they had accomplished what I went in for. After getting home, I noticed I had not been receiving any email notices. Pressed email icon and there were 2 emails waiting to be opened. Checked password on iphone and it had reverted back to old password. I have deleted my Yahoo account 3 times, changed password and it still goes back to the old one. All this is quit frustrating since I don,t live in Chandler and have to travel 40 miles, one way, to see a Genius about the same problem.

Sorry your pictures are gone.
you should be doing this for all your pictures/videos http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 that way you can sync it back via itunes.

YOu need to be clear about the products you are using, so we can help you. In particular there is no trial of Adobe Reader, it is free and keeps running. Sounds like you are using some versions of Acrobat - which?
YOu must properly uninstall the trial, don't just delete files or you may get a mess impossible to recover.

Getting back my old data after HD crash

I've just erased my mac hard drive becuase it was corrupt and re-installed OSX, I did the simple erase with the disc utility.
I know the data still exists on my hard drive and will just be over written with new data when it comes along.
Is there any piece of (free) software I can use to get back my old data?

Unfortunately you reinstalled OS X which means you've already overwritten the drive. You should have recovered your data before erasing the drive and reinstalling. Or better yet you should have been maintaining backups.
Basics of File Recovery
If you empty the Trash the files are gone. Recovery is possible but you must not allow any additional writes to the hard drive - shut it down. When you delete files you erase only the directory entries, not the files themselves. However, the space occupied by the files has been returned to the system as available for storage. Writing to the drive will then eventually overwrite the space once occupied by the deleted files in which case the files are lost permanently. Also if you save a file over an existing file of the same name, then the old file is overwritten and cannot be recovered.
If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten with recovery software such as Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro. Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive.
The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

Go to transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR. Select a ticket for display. Let the status of the selected ticket be NEW. Now input all information in standard and screen Enhancement(By EEWB) input fields. Now make an action 'assign' After saving the status will change to Assign. But at the same time there is a screen validation dependant on the status change from New to assign. According to that the validation happens in PBO event of the Screen enhancement where we are getting Old as well as new status. Here it is found that remarks in long text is to be entered while this perticular status change is happening. but the same is not done. So there is a error message that 'you have not entered remarks general'.
   When the error occurs the status should change back from assign to New. Since user may go out of ticket without saving Or the error pop up will throw you out of ticket. When the user again opens the same ticket, the status of the ticket is Assign. So there should be a BADI or open routine available after before the update to database happens for the new status. Also this enhancement should happen after Screen Enhancement(By EEWB)'s PBO event. So validation of screen enhancement can be carried out.
   In short please provide enhancement or routine or function module which can revert back to old status.

Updating ALV Screen after getting New Out put ( After BACK no old o/p )

Hi All
I have got a ALV output with check box in it and a post button on application toolbar. If I am clicking a row and clicking post button I am able to get new alv output wherein I am removing clicked row from newer output screen. ( I am doing by reexecuting REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY).
However if I press BACK button on the output I am again going back to old screen where I get old row which I had clicked. Is there any way from where I'll be able to skip these screens ? Or is there any alternate way of dealing this ?
