Godaddy Email attachments not working with Firefox 10.02. Works with Internet Exporer. What can I do.
Attachments are not attaching to my emails in my [email protected] godaddy with Firefox the past 2 days. Going to website in Internet Explorer the email attachments work find. What can I do?

I have very similar problem. Suddenly Firefox stopped work - It was working few days after ver. 4 update. I was looking everywhere for some solution but nothing worked.
- uninstalled firewall - did not worked
- added full exception for Firefox into the firewall - did not worked
- Firefox reinstall - did not worked
- Firefox complete reinstall (registry included) - did not worked
- IPv6 diseabling - did not worked
- diferent proxy options (no proxy, system proxy, autodetect proxy) - did not worked
- new firefox profile - did not worked
- complete coockies, history... deleted - did not worked
- there is only one solution which partly works - I have used public proxy addresses for Firefox but the ping is (750ms), down/up (0.8MB/0.2MB originaly (10MB/2MB) and yes I have tried different proxy server from different countries from my included.
- IE is working perfectly and without proxy
- other companies browser - did not worked too
- only IE is working
- I have used three different malware, trojans, spyware, anti-virus programs and nothing
It seems to me as hopeless situation or very clever move from Microsoft, I am forced to use IE - at least this works
Any ideas, solutions?

there is nothing more to add.... links from a wide variety of sources simply do not open up firefox and open the website like they used to. I can copy the links and paste them into firefox and they will open.
this answer does not help at all. It tells me how to change my mail client for outgoing mail. I use iCal from mac, which is the default mail program, and it works well for me. The problem is with INCOMING mail that contains clickable links that will not open the page in firefox. When I click them nothing happens. iCal and Firefox used to play together just fine; now firefox doesn't answer when I click a link sent to me and received in my iCal.

Enhanced forecaster does not work with my current firefox 3.6 I can go to help and hit repair/extensions and it works for a while. When you go to add ons, it says it is not compatible with 3.6. I downloaded 4.0 and it's the same way. It does not work.
Problem resolved. I was able to download Firefox 4.0.1 and make the software work. Thank you for the on line support.

As above, the bar across the bottom, which shows the URL, the "lock" symbol on secure sites, etc., IS NOT THERE on any firefox page I open. It is there on other browsers but I would like to continue using firefox. What should I do?
In Firefox 4 and later you no longer have the Status bar that showed the padlock in previous Firefox versions.<br />
The padlock only shows that there is a secure connection and doesn't guarantee that you are connected to the right server.<br />
So you might still be connected to the wrong server if you make a typo in the URL and someone has claimed that mistyped URL.
The functionality of the padlock has been replaced by the [[Site Identity Button]] on the left end of the location bar.

why doesn't the "zoom in/out" feature by pinching the trackpad on my mac work anymore with firefox? It worked about a month ago, and still works on Safari.
Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4 and later.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page.

I installed new version 4. Whenever I double click on any htm or html document it will not open with firefox it gives a message window saying "Windows can not file path please type correctly" (not extact these words) .. It was working when old firefox was there..

I tried it again using "save link as", and this time it actually worked! I just now downloaded several more using the "save link as" option, and it works perfectly. Thanks. Problem solved.

My Iphone 4, to which all my outlook email is forwarded to. is only receivng some of the emails but not all. It has worked beautifully in the past but no longer. What can I do to get all emails?
I would just explain that this just started happening, that nothing has changed on the phone, that it is an original iPhone and I wondered if they are implementing a change in coverage with their Edge network in my area.
If you restore your phone, you will be given an option to back up your phone at the beginning of the process (see step 6 here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414). You will be given the option to restore to that backup at the end of the restore process. Your messages are stored in the backup so restoring to the backup will return the messages to your phone. Be sure to import your photos and videos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) and back up your contacts somewhere before restoring your phone as these sometimesget lost in the restore process. -

I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else. -
Since I downloaded Firefox 5 I cannot get the links to work for accepting or receiving gifts for Farmville & Frontiersville, what can I do. When a request is posted on my FB page and I click on it to send or receive a gift it just shows that its "connecting" and sits there for several minutes then only sometimes actually goes to the gift. How can I fix it. My other computer that is still on firefox 4 does not have this problem.

The visitor counter on my website no longer works on Firefox but still works in ME. How do I fix it?
I have a free visitor counter (by easycounter.com) on my website. It has been working fine in both Firefox (3.6.16) and MS Internet Explorer.
Yesterday, I noticed it no longer works with Firefox but still fine with MS IE.
Earlier in the week I did download a few add-ons recommended by Firefox.
Can anyone advise what the problem might be and how to fix it? The code for the counter is still intact on my page at www.qsl.net/ve3bdb.

Incidentally, the page now takes forever to load when using MS IE, but I don't know if that's related.No problems here with that visited counter on your website.
Which extensions did you install?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I am having font issues with font book. It validates the font, yet it is not availabe in my software programs (Adobe or Microsoft). What can I do to use these fonts?

On PostScript type 1 fonts you need to copy/move the fonts to the correct font folder because Font Book doesn't copy them into the folder. Select the fonts double-click the fonts and Find in the font Book app and validate.
The correct font folder depends how you are set up. I am by myself so my font folder was MyHarddrive/Library/Fonts. I was using Suitcas fusion and the fonts are located in a different folder.

It sounds like your Wi-Fi network is working if your desktop works with it, we just need to get the Wi-Fi on your iPhone and iPad connected to it. I found a couple of resources to help with not being able to connect to Wi-Fi on an iOS device.
I recommend following the steps in this tutorial first (the steps should work on the iPhone and iPad):

I replaced the hard drive to a 30gig on my Ipod 4th gen. click wheel but it is still not recognized on my computer or in itunes......I get an error message with a folder and "!"....what can I do to fix??
Have you recharge the battery for at least 2 hours, or just leave it connected for 4 hours?
(When you replaced the Hardisk, you should also replace the battery.)
Some other iPod SSD sites, says that you may have to format the CF in FAT32, as Mac dont read NTFS drive so if Windows is the 1st PC that your CF is connected, it may be formatted to NTFS.
You can try erasing the CF using Disk Utilty, so that Mac can recognise it. (but not Windows)
