Going to service centre again and again - Bangalore (India)

I gave my Q5 for service on 20 Dec 2014 to fix calender settings issue. After a week it was ready for deliver by changing the screen, and I noticed the back panel was damaged by the service centre. Requested them to fix the panel, as per the service advisor it may take 10 to 12 days to receive the stock. Went back to the service centre after 14 days and was surprised the stock wasn't received to them.
Making a note on the receipt they have delivered the mobile stating "back panel needs to replace". Accepted the same and took delivery on 9 Jan 2015. After delivery I noticed "alt" button was not working and hearing speaker was getting echo, rushed back to the service centre again on 10 Jan 2015. Took 4 days to fix the issue and delivered on 13 Jan 2015.
And now I am finding the issues with the keypad light and proximity sensor. Need to rush to service centre again. Not sure when it has "The End".
Do I need to rely on BlackBerry or do I need to move new competitive phones and tell good bye to BlackBerry?

    Restart the computer and immediately hold the Option key down.
    Select the Recovery partition and continue.
    On the next pane, select Disk Utility and continue.
    When DU opens, select your hard drive in the left column, click the First Aid tab, the click Repair Disk.

    We have some JSPs which do a lot of processing and is 'alive' for a long period
    of time. If we use the JSP with small amouts of data, it is fine. But when we
    use the JSP with lot of data, it seems to 'go in a loop'.
    It is processing the data again and again and again and brings down our server.
    We do not think it is the code that is wrong - as it processes perfectly if the
    data is small or when our server is not busy. This problem happens if the data
    is lot and the server is also busy. The JSP seems to be executing again and again.
    Is there some type of 'refresh' logic in weblogic that refreshes the JSP/servlet
    and makes it 'execute' again and again.
    We are using WL 6.1

          My history is very sad, because some days ago I try to load the software from version 4.5 using the application loader for my specific celular service provider, but The process fail again and again and again... My BlackBerry is dead..
          Well The problem with loader after the process of "LOAD JVM and System Software" after this step the loader goes to step named "Wait for device initialization" in this process the phone lost connection with PC and gain connection many times finally the winner is lost connections with PC and ofcourse the entire process fail with the first message "USB Device Not recognized" and finally with messages "Unable to complete the load operation" and entire process of loading system software stop and nothing.
        ¿Anybody has a possible solution for this problem or advices or procedures to follow?
    Note: I configure the USB hub to avoid the process of saving power

    Hello and welcome to the forums!
    It sounds like maybe you computer isn't able to power the device when the process is "Waiting for device initialization".  Are you using a laptop computer?  Here are a few articles about USB connection issues.

    A Fix for "Your network preferences have been changed by another application" Error 
    In the Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ folder delete the following:
    com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
    NetworkInterfaces.plist
    preferences.plist
    com.apple.nat.plist
    You will have to re-configure all your network settings since deleting.

    Use Software Update to update your OS to last version of Tiger.  Install all the other updates that goes along w/it.

    Hey, There are afew things you can try.
    - Simply turn your phone off and back on again
    - Hold down your home button and your lock button and let goes as soon as the screen goes black (Phone will power down) - Then turn on your phone and hey presto!
    - Back up your iPhone to your PC, then restore it..
    this ones last cause I think you may have tried it already..
    - Close all open applications

    If you restored as new, without using a backup, and still only get an option to restore, there is a hardware problem or the phone was previously hacked (jailbroken, downgraded iOS, unauthorized unlock).  Your only option is to take it to Apple or whoever provides iPhone service in your country.

  • Disk Utility repairs again and again- no change and Firefox on "go slow"

    Hey folks,
    Two issues:
    1.  My Firefox (running newest Flash Player, updated last week as per Firefox's request) 6.0.2 has this awful habit of running slow, ie stalling with the beach-ball every ten minutes of use or so, for about a minute or two before continuing as though nothing were wrong.  This started after I had a terrible problem with my MacBook Pro 13 inch, 2.66GHz running OSX10.6.8 simply not starting up and me needing to spend hours making it boot up (I couldn't afford to do a complete reinstall- did an archive one instead).  I don't know why and it doesn't happen with Chrome, meaning it is the browser itself, right?
    2.  No matter how often I repair permissions the same list appears again and again, right after each other.  Now I HAVE searched before posting and I understand that ought not be anything to worry about but in the past when I did a repair right after the first it had nothing TO repair the second time.  Meaning that it would run the repair and end it without listing anything TO fix the second time around.  Now it just goes through the whole process again, taking the same length of time.  If it were just a repeat of a repair list, surely it would just list it and not run the whole 9 minute long process again, right?
    Note:  I also have a warning which I know I can safely ignore (as it is on the list of http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1448?viewlocale=en_US):  Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired. but I don't know if this is what is causing the repeat of the repair, even if harmless in itself?
    I am almost inclined to do a clean install of everything but have a few projects on the go which require me to have this machine up and running "as it is" with all the project files intact and cannot afford the time out this total reinstall would require.
    Any hope for getting it to run "happier" and repair and stay repaired?  And Firefox?  Clean install advised?  Or?

    Talk about weird. I go to look up a problem and at the top of the Recent Content list is this post that is exactly the problem I am having with the permissions and the 'Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.'.
    I just received my new mini to replace the one that died last week. I did a backup from time machine and was having problems with the Audio MIDI setup. So I tried repair disk permissions to see if that would help. I repaired the permissions and the Audio MIDI setup still would not work correctly. I verified the permissions again and there were still some that needed repairing, but not as many as the time before. So it did repair some of them. I ran repair permissions again and it said all was fixed. I verified again and the same list of files needed repair. I did it a few more times with the same result.
    So I erased the disk and did a clean install. I did the software update again and got everything to the latest versions. 10.6.8. 
    I verified permissions again and got a list of files that needed repairing. I repaired disk permissions and then verified again. A shorter list this time that were the same list of files was there from before I did the clean install including the 'Warning: SUID file' thing.
    So I looked to see if I could change the permissions myself and found that most of the files that it could not fix were 'Alias' of files.
    So Disk Utilities can't deal with alias?

    Hi all,
    I have followed the tutorial to correct autorizations to install the update of acrobat X again and again and again... (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/403/kb403915.html#main_WinVista) but these autorizations are encapsulated in another autorizations then it's neverending... I have tried to correct autorizations of the main folder too without any success.
    Even the installation of the new CS5.5 on Windows 7 is terrible. It was impossible to install Acrobat X and it was impossible to uninstall Acrobat 9 to make the installation of the version X easier. It was already the case for the previous versions since the CS3, but now... I have finally installed Acrobat separatelly as trial version and pried.
    I use Adobe products since Photoshop 2.5 with a lot of pleasure but now the Windows installer of Adobe is probably the worst i've seen.
    Any ideas, suggestions or comments ?

    A little feedback of my processes :
    I have finally uninstalled my CS5.5 and my CS4, used the cleaning tool from Adobe, used a registry cleaner, deleted all hidden and not hidden folders in relationship with Adobe (Program files, Common files, Application Data, ...). Restarted Windows several times.
    I have renamed the Config.Msi folder, restarted the Windows installer, disabled my Norton Antivirus and started the install of CS5.5 in an Administrator account. The CS5.5 has been now installed without fatal issues (only alerts for 64 bits applications, my system is in 32 bits). I have started all main applications from the CS5.5 (Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, ...), all work fine.
    Now, i have restarted my Windows, disabled my Norton, renamed the Config.Msi, started Windows with minimal startup applications and i still have error 1310 for the installation of the Acrobat update with the same kind of error "verity if you have privilege access to this folder". It's a Kafka story...
    I have tried also in safe mode but it doesn't work because the Windows installer service seems to not be started in this mode.
    Well, i know my system is a little bit unusual because i have made an update of Windows from Vista to 7 and this laptop is a little bit old. But all other applications i buy work fine on this system. I have problems only with the Adobe installer since the CS3... I think it's the sign of something wrong with the Adobe Products. I have made all i'm able to do as an average level user...

    There are many reasons why a PC " behaves" this way.
    These annoying " gliches" may be caused by an overloaded hard drive, overworked CPU, Malware, running 2 AV 's, unnecessary data, Browser addons or you may have unnecessary programs running in the background etc....
    What follows is a series of generic troubleshooting steps that you may care to try...
    Make sure all intake/exhausts vents are clean along with all fans.
    Get some temp monitoring software. Download cpu-z and gpu-z (both
    free) and keep an eye on the video temps
    It could be a hard drive that is going bad or corrupted.
    To check a hard drive see Check Disk...
    In an administrators account type cmd in search.
    In cmd type sfc /scannow.
    This will report and fix minor problems.
    Take note of what is said at the end.
    Should your computer freeze, try to do the tests in safe mode.
    Go to search, type device manager and look for any yellow warning markers.
    Type event viewer, in search (by start button) > Windows Logs > Application
    Look for RED critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the CURRENT problem.
    Note the event ID, and the source codes and Google search them.
    If overclocking, restore to original.
    Try in
    safe mode; report back if it works properly.
    Clean boot.
    You may discover what is causing your problem.

    Have just installed CS5 , all paid up, all signed up, all numbers given and verified, but.....nothing CS5 works, all keep asking for my serial number again and again, accept and verify number is correct, adobe tells me I'm all up and good and running, then screen tells me I'm not licensed so it closes down. same in InDesign, and Photoshop. What the hell is going on Adobe??????

    Could be a permissions problem, so the licensing never can persistently verify the serial and create the necessary key files. Try creating another user account with admin privileges and run it from there, then check the settings on your existing account and the pertinent user data folders.

    I have got the Creative Cloud service. I paid a whole year. Every time I try to open an application (Photoshop, Adobe Reader, etc.) I'm requested to confirm username and password. It's annoying and takes time. Again and again. Why, if I have paid annually, the applications request me  repeatedly the username and password? How do I fix that annoying issue?

    goto the path Environment -> Transact. RFC -> Source System as mentioned in the error. It will ask for source system ID & password. Enter & login. check if anything is struck over there. If so, execute it manually or press F6.
    You can also check SM58 trans for tRFC in BW system. If it is in Red, execute it manually.
