Gold 64GB iPhone 6

I pre-ordered two iPhone 6s on 9/14. One was Space Gray 64GB and said delivery by 10/14, which is fine. The other was a Gold 64GB and said delivery by 9/19. Today is 9/22 and I don't have any updates on the Gold iPhone 6, and my credit card has yet to be charged. I went through the motions of ordering another Gold 64GB to see if it was now backordered, and it doesn't appear that it is. If the phone isn't backordered, why has it not shipped yet? I have asked customer service and the answer I got was basically a very vague, and I'm paraphrasing, "the phones will ship when they ship and your credit card will be charged at that time." I'd appreciate any more info someone from Verizon or another user in a similar situation can give.

    astomp82, I'm sorry for the delay with receiving your phone. Since your combined order includes two devices, one with a later ship date, the full order will not ship until the complete order can be fulfilled. I apologize for this inconvenience.

  • Cannot order AT&T iPhone 6 Gold 64gb in BEAST but can order every *other* model and color combo?

    Been going into Best Buy for the last few days trying to order this phone thinking that they'll get this problem fixed and I can order the iPhone 6 I want. But every time they pull up the iPhone 6 order screen the AT&T iPhone 6 Gold 64gb is the *only one* that doesn't show up. I can get any other size and color but that one. The employees are stumped and one even said it seems like a bug in the system.
    I can go to Apple, Target, Radioshack, etc. and order this phone and have it in '7-10 business days', but it's bugged in Best Buy's system for some reason. What gives? Is it actually a bugged item? The SKU is 7640053 please help!

    As far as I know, this is not a bug.  Availability of all models of the iPhone 6 is still limited and once they become available again, the store should be able to order.

    AT&T will only accept phones in "good working order, free of physical damage" in their trade in program.    You could try selling the device to a third party service which would refurbish it and resell it themselves, then buy the Samsung phone outright.

    I currently have the samsung galaxy nexus and my contaract is up on the 20th of this month. I am looking to order the 64GB iphone 6 Plus but I am confused on the price of this device. On the website, it says that the 64 GB iphone 6 plus is $399 but when i spoke with a representative, he said that the 16GB is $399. When my uprade is fully available on the 20th, how much will the 64GB iphone 6 plus actually cost me and does it have to do with the phone or plan i currently have? Can someone help me out? Thanks.

  • Having trouble sync'ing. Receiving Overcapacity error on my 64GB iPhone 5. Backed up and restored but still having sync issues.

    I have an iPHone 5 64GB with iTunes 11 installed on an 2 yr old HP laptop running Windows 7. I am having sync'ing issues. I am receiving an overcapacity error I have not seen before even though I can manually remove audiobooks I have previously loaded to get the overcapacity down below the available 64GB limit. I have removed most of them now and can get the sync to begin. Not sure if it will actually complete. But now I do not have but a relatively few audio books loaded. I have backed up and restored to see it that helps but am still getting the same overcapacity error. Seems whatever I had included was doubled in an "other" category. Also, in the recent upgrade to iTunes, it takes forever to sync when I change content. Sync'ing takes a lot longer than before. Has anyone else experienced similar performance issues.

    "Other" data is real data that you put on your phone by using the built in apps. It is not music, not videos, not pictures and not App Store app data. It is "OTHER" meaning everything that does not fall into these categories. Such as:
    email messages and attachments
    Reminders
    Calendar entries
    Contacts
    Text messages   (*** this can take up a lot of space)
    MMS messages and attachments
    Genius data
    Music cover art
    Operating system settings
    Safari cache
    bookmarks
    Game Center status
    Music catalog
    If you have a lot of text messages stored, that can make "Other" very large.  Another problem area is corrupted files.  When app and data files become corrupted, they may end up in "Other".  To fix that, perform a restore from a recent backup.  That prevents corrupt files from showing up.

    It's happened to me twice now. The first time I was in a hurry to free up space so I opted to convert the video to lover resolution onboard and transfer off the lower resolution copy, then delete the original (not cool)!
    Now I have time and since I suspect a known limitation of iOS, willing to go through with it until fixed.
    The details:
    1. I shot a video of lenght 1:02:43).
    2. I can play back the video on camera roll just fine.
    3. I selected all the photos/video under iPhone/DCIM/* and MOVED off the device to another location.
    4. DCIM folders were checked and empty (also after reconnection to the computer).
    5. A single 1:02:43 lenght 1080p movie file was not copied (moved) to the computer and was.
    6. A single 1:02:43 lenght 1080p movie file is/was still found in the camera roll, however not listed under DCIM folders with iPhone connected to the computer.
    How do I get the original file off the device?
    I should be able to record even longer videos so Is this a know IOS limitation or even a bug?

    Your best bet is to sell the iPhone yourself and then buy the one you want.

    theres really to many to count because asuming that you have all average lengh songs which are about 4.5 megabytes and you have one 16 gb that would be about 3048 and for the 32 it would be about 7281 and for the 64 it would be about 14,563.
    but if you have longer or shorter then average songs then theres really know way to tell

    Does it mean that I need to activate it with a SIM of one of the carriers that offers a contract and then I am free to use it with any SIM anywhere in the world?

    I called up APPLE in UK as well, no help there either..
    but.. I say.. its a SIM FREE phone for crying out loud, what is this ACTIVATION nonsense??

  • 64gb iPhone 6 says it's full. It's not.

    Hi everyone! I've had no issues with my phone until this week.
    A prompt suddenly came up and said i was running out of space, so i checked and had 1gb remaining-while crazy since I always have 20gb free, I did just go on vacation and took pictures- so I moved my pictures (about 2gb total) to my HDD and deleted those on my phone. Checked my memory usage and only had 0gb remaining. Did both a soft and hard reset and I jumped to 441mb remaining. I did that trick of manually jumping time to automatically remove the pictures from the recently deleted and still only had a few hundred megs.
    I hooked up my phone to iTunes and that usage bar is less than half full (adds to about 25gb) but only registers 441mb remaining. Any ideas? I'm on 8.3 since last week but to be fair if this memory issue started then I hadn't noticed yet.
    Any help would be appreciated I'm just afraid the only solution would be a factory reset. Thanks.

    *UPDATE*
    a restore from backup sorta worked, but not entirely. I did the restore but after all that, my usage on my phone said all I had was 5gb free. I sorta gave up and decided to live with it; the next morning it actually dropped to 3.9gb free, BUT by afternoon it was fine. 37.4gb free.
    I have no clue what it could have been but now its fine. I can only assume the restore took awhile to work but that doesn't seem right. thanks for the help

  • 2nd post. First one was deleted - iOS 7 has pretty much bricked my 64gb iphone.  Any fix?

    The title says it all. My phone has become fairly useless since around October when I "updated" to iOS 7. I seriously can't text lose my contacts my phone won't work and apps constantly shut down. What am I to do?

    Start with the standard troubleshooting steps.
    Reboot the phone
    Restore the phone (and your backup)
    Restore your phone as new (do NOT restore your backup).
    Test after each step.
    Something was most likely corrupted when you updated. That corruption may very well be contained in your backup. You will most likely have to set it up as a new phone and re-sync your apps and data (without restoring your backup) to correct the problem.
