Golden audit in China - hard nut to crack

I am currently trying to configure the Golden audit for our Chinese company, and i really need some help from someone who have tried this before.
In the notes related to the setup there is both a screendump of how the structure in the finansial statement version should look like - but its looking different from the structure that i supplied in the excellsheet! But the structure in the excell sheet does not contain the accounts!
I had imagined that i would have to map my company chart of account to the Chinese standard chart of accounts and the I would be able to make use of the golden audit reports.
So to me the big question is - how do I find out which accounts from the standard chart of accounts is to be assigned to which knots in the structure of the finansial statement version

Well sorry to say there is not much help about to bee found. I think one of the reasons is that so far all the companys in DK that have offices in China tells me that they have had local consultants to do the setup. One thing is the language, then there is the notion that it reminds about doing scripts because everything have to be very precisely setup to give the right print format.
And to make things funnier the consultants I have talked to all state that it is necessary to do some abap programming in order to make the reports work.
So I have postponed the implementation as we can do year end in the existing system, and then we might as well wait so that I am prepared sufficiently.
So bottom line is that I am about to hire som local consultants to do that job - and it is not completely cheap - would have thougth that as it is in china.
Please tell me if you find some documentation on the road.

More and more people start to pay close attention to Golden Audit module. Below information just for your reference.
In China, certain types of companies using SAP are required to provide China standard report and data interface between audit software of Finance Bureau(just Shanghai city) and SAP system. China standard report will be audited by finance and tax bureau. Data interface is pre - format for electric auditing in future.

SAP Golden Audit provides data interface to China government. However, you have to do the second development for the report, BS/PL and so on. If you want to implement them in SAP, you need to config the alternative account in account master data maintain.
The 3rd software transfers SAP transaction data to their own database and do account mapping at same time. As a result, just report format is China standard. Real accounting rule still is global's.
So, the best solution is no need to transfer SAP transaction data. Just extract balance by BAPI to excel. Use formula to calculate BS/PL report. If it's necessary, extract documents to excel by China reporting format for printing purpose.
We have this solution, no need ABAP and just upload three requests. All China standard report can be generated.

China Golden Audit / Frame Reporting

Hello together,
I am working for a German automotive supplier. Currently I'm trying to implement the SAP Frame Reporting.
I'm also in a process of coordination to have a conference call
with consultants of SAP China, a Chinese coleague and two German coleagues.
By the way I'm tying to work at the first steps without any consultants. The chart of accounts (IFRS standard) including the account mapping regarding a Chinese financial statement version we will get in the beginning of June from our plants in China.
What I have to enter at step of "Maintain Currency Codes"?

Groove Agent 2 and Audition are driving me nuts!

Can someone please help me with this? Believe me- I've tried everythign I can think of, including reading the Groove Agent Manual.
I am simply trying to run Groove Agent 2, from Audition 3, and record the beats that come out of it. I tried inserting a midi track, using the sequencer and loading it as a vst. I also tried using rewire _ I enabled rewire and selecting the Groove Agent 2 box, and then said launch the application. This created a track in the multi tracker (at leats it seemed to have colored a track), but it did not actually launch groove agent.
Help. I've tried so many things, i'm all mixed up now

You do know that all those tabs in the Viewer can be pulled off into their own separate windows, don't you? Just put the mouse cursor on a tab, hold down the mouse button, and drag the tab off to one side where it will stand alone in its own window. When you click that window closed, it will once again become a tab on the Viewer.
Thus, for example, you can double-click a clip on the Timeline up into the Viewer window, and then drag the Motion tab off the Viewer window so that it becomes its own window. Then whatever you do in the Motion tab's window, you can watch to see how it affects the video in the Video tab.
A big monitor, or two of them, are helpful when you get a bunch of these windows open.

Why is local video streaming to Apple TV jerky?

Video streaming to Apple TV (v 3) has always been smooth. No matter what the online source -- from YouTube to Netflix -- the video is consistently good. Video streamed from Macs, though, is jerky to the point of unwatchable. Even when I stream it from a a Mac connected by ethernet with wi-fi off, the result is unwatchable. I cannot think what the problem could be. My wi-fi signal is strong (from two bridged Apple Extreme units) so when I stream wirelessly network shouldn’t be the problem, and I’m just a few feet from both ATV and AE.

Seems that if it's network related, this is going to be a hard nut to crack. I assume you can bring your Airport Extreme in to be checked out, but if you are using another brand of wireless router, you won't get much help there. I know wireless interference can play havoc with signals and one of the things I'd check out with some sniffer software is that possibility. Just sitting here in my kitchen I can see signals from 15 different wireless routers in my neighborhood. Using 2.4 GHz channel selection can make all the difference between good and poor performance. Granted those 15 access points in many cases aren't close enough to interfere, a couple are and I've seen performance on my Macbook Pro suck sometime because a close by wireless router pops onto or close to the same channel I'm on. That's a lot why I bought an Airport Extreme and use the 5 GHz side as much as possible. In the case of my Apple TV and all my Apple devices, I run on the 5GHz side. Signal strength is good and when I get the slow downs when using Airplay, the reboots of the streaming devices usually resolve the issues.

Empty tables with RFC call

Good day,
we have a delphi application using wdtfuncs.ocx to connect to SAP via RFC. Since we updated the GUI from 6.2 to 6.4 we have the strange problem, that in some cases select statements returning 0 hits (they should return at least 1 hit).
After downgrading the wdtfuncs.ocx to version 6.2, everything seems to work fine.
Maybe someone has a good idea?!

The SAP Note 310190 I mentioned earlier are from 2002, and have Service Packages for version 4.5B to 4.6C. We are running SAP ERP 2004 PS, I think this is version 5.0. I did belive these Service Package were too old for our system, but am I wrong? Should I try to install them?

Just wanted to let you know I had recent success with HSBC (now CapOne) and American Honda Finance. HSBC was a charged off. I just sent a letter to the address in my CR (the name was HSBC but the address was CapOne) asking them to provide more details on the debt. I received a letter stating that the tradelines were being deleted. American Honda Finance was a harder nut to crack. First, I sent them GW letters to remove one 30 day late for months but I kept receiving the normal 'we are reporting correctly' letters. I then started to fax them the GW when that didn't work I emailed about 5 excecutives at Honda and one day the 30 day late disappeared. I never received a letter, email or any communication from them that the 30 late would be removed. If you need any information, pm me.

While testing for CKMLCPAVR " determine Delta posting " I haev come across a weird error
Internal error in FORM+/FUNCTION CKMLAVR_CLOSE_SINGLE in position 6 with RC1
Message no. C+099
Before this error I had faced error where systme has asked to update BSD and UMD key in OBYC. I have updated the same. Later I haev faced the above error.
Just for information I am using actual price as well as in configuration i have updated indicator 2 in activate actual costing.
But I changed from 1 to 2 in half way through my testing.
Please, let me know if any of you have come across such error in course of CKMLCPAVR.

The multilevel price determination is perfectly ok for me. The kind of weird error messages particularly in ML area .... it is really very hard nut to crack..... I am planning to test again in new plant with the same scenarios.. let me test and if I come across the same error .. then need to think of OSS.

Outline around selected TOC items

I've just installed IE9 and when I launch my published WebHelp and select a link in the table of contents, it displays a dotted outline around the selected item. This never happened with IE8, so I was wondering if there's anyway to prevent it? Is it possible to add "outline:none" somewhere in the RoboHelp output (like you would when styling a link in CSS) so that it doesn't appear?

Hi Jonathan,
Unfortunately, IE proved a harder nut to crack than I imagined. The problem is that IE9 does support the outline css, but the TOC runs in quircks mode so no IE9 goodness there... There is a solution, it's just not as straightforward as I thought. See http://www.wvanweelden.eu/robohelp/modifying_webhelp/remove_outline_in_toc for a step by step guide to get rid of the outline.

JTable Cell Focus Change

Hi all,
Is it possible to keep track the cell focus change in JTable so that I can perform appropriate validation. For example, user use the key to move from cell (2,3) to (2,4) or use the mouse to move from (2,4) to (5,3).
I know that it is possible to use ListSelectionEvent on SelectionModel (for row change) and & ColumnModel (for change change) to do that. However, when both row & column change simultaneously, I need to do only 1 validation (in fact, the validation must have both information). My existing code gives me two separate event instead.
Any idea ? Thanks in advance.

This will be a decently hard nut to crack without making a slightly (or worse) cluttered solution.
I've been part of a framework where applications-developer has requested solutions like you currently ask for. The solution we implemented was twofold.
1) We made an centralised TableModel that people could use as-is or extend if nessecary. To this tablemodel we added a new set of events that could be consumed, or in some cases even replaced.
The events was for instance 'beforeCellChange' and contained enough data on the current value, the new value, location in model and space for replacing any of the above values. Many more events was added as time went by as well.
We made the event-listener fairly generalized and the type sent in the actual event, this allowed us to expand the events without having to change any interfaces. The drawback with this was that it forces the developer to check which type of event is happening, a bit like events happened in AWT 1.0.
With the help of this, the developers just added the nessecary listeners to the table model and they could consume, change, validate any input to a table before it was committed.
2) No good method for row-verification could really be found.
There was a few futile tries, but since data could be entered in any order, the validation raised the amount of code with a order of magnitude. It does work, by listening on selection events, but quite a few extra checks has to be resolved, as instance with rows not validated etc etc.
My recomendations, verify data carefully from events either from model or the table-editor. The result will most assurdly end in that you need to have an tablemodel on your own and also TableCellRenderer to accomplish all that you want to do.

Creative Labs SoundBlaster PCI128 sound-card software prob

Blast it all! Where can I find the necessary software to make my Creative Labs PCI28 sound card work? (I hope that "Blast it all!" doesn't offend... )
The background
I bought a used PC from a PC-idiot (a PC-idiot being a PC user who chucks out floppy-disk and CD-ROM software integral to the PC ? I will hazard a guess that there are a lot of these types out there!), and what's worse, the idiot had "ripped out" much of the installed software rather than uninstalling it properly, with the result that the PC ran very unstably, requiring a lengthy start-up procedure in order to compensate for the ripped-out files (start-up often crashed and had to be restarted). In the end I had to run fdisk and rebuild the software system. I took the trouble to save the installed Creative program under Program Files, not that this could be inserted into C:\Program Files of course, but in order to know what I should see when I eventually found the proper software and got it installed. But finding the proper software has proven to be a hard nut to crack, which is why I bring the problem up here...
My PC has two Creative Labs cards, a SoundBlaster PCI28 card (CT4700) and a PC-DVD Encore Dxr-3 card (CT7240). I found software for both (the latter only with the help of Creative Labs' technical staff) on Creative Labs' download site, but the driver application that eventually got my PCI28 card to work (some wouldn't even do that much) has snags to it, with the result that my sound card doesn't work properly. The problem is that the CL software download was only an update, and was also devoid of waveset files. The MIDI wavesets cannot load, so this parameter is missing from the installed sound mixer (this problem is well-known and is in fact listed in CL's Knowledgebase under the title "Error ? Can not load MIDI Wavesets, MIDI Playback has been disabled").
Unfortunately the "fix" suggested there subsumes that the user has access to the original sofware medium (floppy or CD-ROM) so that the complete program can be reinstalled. Which software I don't have, thanks to the PC-idiot from whom I bought this used PC (actually I bought it from his son). The driver-file download that works with the CT4700 (this is the only one that I found that could even come close to working), a certain e28up9x.exe, is only an update, as I said above, and although it is touted as a "stand-alone" application that works with the CT4700, as an update, it is no substitute for the original program itself (it won't stand on its own). What I need ? and cannot find ? is the original program itself.

Too much bass? I always end up turning mine up.
But anyway, to do this you'll want to do a little equalisation. Make sure you've got the full application suite for Vista (ie: not just the audio console on Creative's site):

And then go to the equaliser in the main Creative control console. You'll eventually find something like this:

What this does is allow you to adjust the volume of specific frequencies in the music: the slider on the left adjusts the deepest frequency, and the slider on the right adjusts the highest.
The best way to do general equalisation is to do it gradually. Since you want to take out the bass a little, what you'll want to do is drag the left-most slider down to something like -5dB. Then, drag the one to the right of that down to about -4dB, then the next one to -3dB, etc. Once you hit 0dB you should be at roughly the middle of the equalizer (mid-tone frequencies).
If this sounds confusing, just drag some of the sliders up and down a bunch while music is playing and you'll immediately see what's happening.
Although there is also a bass and treble thing in Windows and such, all these do is adjust about fi've sliders at once. They can be pretty useful, but they're basically just watered-down versions of a proper equaliser. I believe the Creative software's bass/treble options also are unavailable in game mode.
Note that you can also bring out the higher frequencies by doing the same thing over on the other side; this will make your sound a lot crisper, and might even negate the need to lower the bass since you'll be able to hear that higher detail without turning the volume up so much.
Although there're endless possibilities with equalisation (EQ), the best rule of thumb for general use is to make sure the centre is at 0dB, and then adjust gradually outwards from there.

This is the first time I'am seeing such an exception. Its a hard nut to crack.

From what I understand from the stack trace, two instances of the bean are locking resources and waiting to obtain the lock for the other. It might be due to pessimistic locking.

Performance Macpro = Macbookpro

Hello everyone,
I am looking into upgrading my 3-4y old iMac, because I recently started doing a lot of 3D rendering and video editing.
The old iMac just isn’t powerfull enough anymore…  Although it was a great computer.
At first I was convinced I was getting the lowest model of the macpro, cause that’s all I can afford in that range.
But since the new macbookpro’s came out, I’m totally torn and don’t know wich is better any more.
I don’t really care about the portability since I have an old 13” mbp as well, so it just comes down to performance for me.
The top of the line mbp costs less than the macpro and according to the benchmarks beats it!?
Also it would suck to see the macpro updated just after I bought it… your thoughts? I’m puzzeled…. Pffft

Thanks for your input. Although im not 100% convinced yet the macpro is the right choice.
As i mentioned, rendering is a big part of my work. Currently it is taking longer and longer on my iMac.
My personal experience is that rendering is most affected by pure processor power.
Now the macpro i'm looking at has one processor socket, standard equipped with a 4 core 2,8ghz.
I know from back in the days i was a pc user, that upgrading your processor usually also meant upgrading the motherboard. So i assume this is also the case for the mac pro's?
So if i ever want to upgrade in a few years, the only option available would be to buy an old processor that fits the motherboard?
I am however happy to hear the hard drives, ram and graphics can be upgraded.
Maybe stretching my budget and buying the dual processor macpro with 2x 2,4ghz quad core would be my best investment? It gives me the possibility to upgrade the two sockets. Standard i get 4 cores extra and 3gb of ram extra, that seems fair.
Oh boy and i need the apple cinema display as well... its going to be a hard nut to crack.
But i'll probably be good for a few years i guess?

Who can write fx builder plug ins?

guys, i think there should be a solution for the lacking DOF in motion. one could write a script plug in, that defines an certain blur on objects, intensity related on their distance to a camera. the mathematical idea is not a hard nut to crack. sadly i am a designer with very very limited coding skills (i can handle some html and css and actionscript, basic stuff).
so is there some guy that can write a script like that? i am sure alot of people here would very much appreciate that!

so you think its a motion problem? certainly there has to be a parameter in motion that defines the distance of the camera to an object (you can see the pixel distance to an object as a value i do believe). like when using the dolly behavior... maybe you are right because you can´t access those values through the script language. if you could, the script would have to have to get the objects defined, the cam position, movement (e.g. the values of a motion path) and relate the differing values over time to the incresing / decreasing intensity of a blur filter onto the objects. am i right or do i think in the wrong direction?

Yes, it's a simple question - how do I make it roll? I've tried two different Arch cd's with no luck, neither to make it roll or work. Installing it seems to be a hard nut to crack to. Are there any chances I can download a live-cd to try it before I step into something I might despite? Are there any how-to's out there I can use?

Arch installs a "base" system. It includes no Desktop Enviroment, nor Xorg. You have to install these with pacman. After of which, you can log into root, with no password by defualt and install them:
pacman -S gnome xorg
Will install gnome and xorg.
