Goldengate ext stop, how to know if it picked up where it stopped?
I'm trying to verify that I don't lose any records if extract is down for a time. I looked in the report files and in logdump, but I don't see a way to verify that the RBA or seqno or SCN is the next one. How can I be sure I didn't lose a transaction?

Yet it is possible that GG may be misconfigured and may be missing data -- common examples include not adding supplemental log data on the source, missing "table" or "map" specifications in the prm files, etc. You would troubleshoot these type of issues by in fact looking at report files & trails. But the problem could be detected in the first place by comparing the source & target DB's using something like Veridata.

Can iTunes pick up where I stopped the previous day?
I use iTunes to a long list of songs while working. When I turn the PC back on the next day, iTunes takes me back to the beginning. Is there a way to set iTunes to pick up where it left off when I shut the PC down? Other media players of lesser status than iTunes do that.

To solve your problem, you could create Smart Playlist of the songs you want to play, that has a rule to exclude, for a set time, any song that has been played.
For example, if your "long list of songs" is a regular Playlist, create a Smart Playlist that looks at the regular one. In the following example, my "long list" is named "nine plays". The Smart Playlist looks like this:
...and you choose the regular Playlist from the drop-down that appears. Once you click on OK, you can rename the Smart Playlist to one of your choice. For example - "Working Songs".
You add any song that you want to hear into your "nine plays" regular Playlist, but you listen to the Playlist named "Working Songs", which has all those other songs in it, providing they have not been played for five weeks.
Once played (to the song's end), the song is removed from the "Working Songs" list, but remains in the "nine plays" list. If you have not removed the song from "nine plays", then after five weeks, it goes back into "Working Songs". At worst, each day, the last song you played the day before, but did not finish playing, will still be in the "Working Songs" list. If you have the "Working Songs" Playlist on shuffle, you may not hear that particular song for a day or two anyway.
To pick up from that point the next day, you simply go into the "Working Songs" Playlist and start the previous day's song playing. If you actually want to start from the point in the song that you previously stopped at, you could set all your songs to Remember playback position. I suggest you choose that option with care though as you may find it irritating when a song you haven't heard for a while starts playing part way through because that's where you stopped playing it last time. -
The display on my older imac goes blank intermittently. It seems that the computer also freezes temporarily, usueall for a second or two, then comes right back where it left off. There doesn't seem to be any predictable timing to the events. They occur a few times daily. Help! the computer is no longer under warrantee. Any ideas on how to troubleshoort this. I'm not sure that it is a display issue althought that is what i see. The freezing of the computer during the blackouts might indicate a power supply issue.

Adobe Creative Cloud (Desktop) does not work properly. The application is blocked : it could not be launch neither stopped. I'm on MAC Yosemite OS, does anyone know how to remove it properly or to force its stop. It does not appear in the launched applications.
I received no error message. The application was just trying to find applications unsuccessfully.

I tried to uninstall the application but it seems that a kind of deamon is still installed thus providing me to reinstall properly. Do you know where are the elements to remove in order to get my machine just like before ?

I have a 2009 A6 with a 5th Gen. iPod pluggedinto the MMI. I mostly listen to audio books, not a lot ofmusic. The books are 4-6 hours long, vs 4-6minutes with a song. Often, but not always, when I start my A6, the MMI starts on the first song on my iPod, thereforeI don't know where I stopped in my 4-6 hour book. How can I get the interface to stay stopped where I left off? I have gone into iTunes and placed my current book as the first "song" on my iPod for ease of finding it, but often the MMI starts it over at the beginning. Thank you if anyone has any experience with this. My dealer in San Rafael, CA says they've never heard of this issue.
I think my iPod, which is an iPod touch 3rd generation , which is a lot different from a nano, which really makes it almost impossible for me to help you, which is why I suggested that you post your question in the iPod nano community. Your first post says that your product is an iPod nano. I think the people who answer those questions would be most likely to help you. If yours isn't a nano then you can pick the right community from here. This community is really to answer questions about this forum, or issues that don't fit anywhere else.

Ok, so the likely cause is 1 or more Songs are tripping up iTunes Match. To resolve, move to Song view, switch on iCloud Status and iCloud Download fields - sort the view on iCloud Status - identify Songs with status other than Purchased, Matched or Uploaded. Temporarily remove them from the library, allow iTunes Match to complete the 3-step process. Gradually import the Songs back in - any that cause a repeat failure, place in a playlist, burn to audio CD and import as 256k AAC.
Note: iTunes Match service in UK at present is intermittant, may be worth trying from 1200 tomorrow to give Apple the chance to complete its current updates. -

ToNi.I don't know of any "right" way to do this. You can create a control with a DS connection, create a property node for it and use the Datasocket>>Status property to check. If it's anything other than Active, close and restart the server (be sure to have a wait before checking again).

Setting geo.enabled to false does not stop websites from knowing location. It changes based off of what proxy I am using. Is there a way to completely disable this?
I use Comcast in the Chicago area market and have a problem with the "Opt Out" stopping about once a year or so. It appears as being enabled at the Comcast Opt Out page, but the unresolved addresses are still going to the DNS "domain helper" service.
What works for me is to turn off the opt out preference, log off from that Comcast account, and close Firefox. When I restart Firefox, log in to Comcast, and then set the pref to "opt out" again - it works as intended and doesn't cause me a problem until it happens like 10 to 12 months later.
As far as why it seems to affect browsers in a different way, I have no idea. I do have Safari, Opera, and IE 8 installed, in addition to multiple versions of Firefox, but I don't use those other browsers enough to have seen a difference. I am usually opening pages from within Firefox in those other browsers to view the difference, ''or to print something that Firefox screws up in the Print Preview''. -

I think, you are looking for master data sources(text,attributes,hier).Am i right?
If so, This cube has almost all SD master data characterstics. So you can activate all the all master data datasources of SD in r/3 (SD-IO).
Any way you requirement does not stop only by using this cube . You will activate all other cubes in SD also. So if you want to activate only needed master data datasources when you are activating a cube, the job becomes senseless. There is no problem(wrong) in activating all master data available under that application , even though you want to activate only one cube.

Two days ago I was trying to view a page that I always see with no problem but I got a messages from Intego Virusbarrier saying that safari was attempting to download known malware that could control my computer. I didn't understand, it was a common designers website that I had always visited with no problem. The message had a counter with the option of proceeding or blocking. I blocked. I have both safari and chrome installed so I decided to check the site in chrome, again with the same window. I let it be, but the following morning as a tried one more time safari didn't show me the warning window, instead it took me to a blank page that wouldn't load. All of the programs froze and my mouse arrow started to move a little sporadically, nothing would work properly. I finally had to unplug my computer. after a while i plugged it back in and everything seemed to be working fine. I had virusBarrier scan my entire computer but it found nothing wrong. I checked my download folder and utilities and plugins and found nothing odd. all seemed fine, But this morning it started again. My computer wouldn't respond properly and I had to unplug it again. After I replugged all seemed to work fine, except safari, which wouldn't do anything. I disabled all plugins and it sort of worked but the problem is when I tried to reset safari, it makes safari stop working. Chrome seems to be fine. Virusbarrier, (which supposedly instigated the alleged malware warnings) still can't find anything wrong. But I have noticed that virusbarrier wont lock itself. every time i turn my computer off or put it to sleep it will unlock the ability to configure setting when it wakes.
I don't know if it is virusbarrier or safari or something else, but i believe that come tomorrow it will continue to happen. I've tried and checked every folder and still can't find anything that shouldn't be there. The main problem I have is that its my whole computer, not just safari that freezes and acts up. I use airport and have to manually connect to the Internet each time I log in, so I don't understand how each morning this seems to be happening, because I'm not connected to the Internet when the computer is off.
update: no, safari doesn't work at all anymore.

If it were me, I'd backup my important files then erase the drive and start over. Anti virus software on a Mac is invasive and hard to uninstall properly.
Since you are running v10.5, an Archive & Install won't do the job. You'll still have the previous System Folder on the drive. Clean install only.

How come when I view flash videos my videos stop, but the audio plays and I see rainbow colored lines up and down the video. I attached a image below.
ATR, just to make sure you understand me, all my video clips in my folders appear as the first frame of the video clip when I view my folders as (small, medium, large)icons instead of lists, when saved as .avi files but when saved as .mp4 files, those icons display as a graphic icon of filmstrip with a musical note on it. I do have various other methods to open with (quick time, windows media, winamp or real player) but prefer real player because I like it's quick and easy trimmer that comes along with it, since so many of my videos are just pet antics where you need to clip off the boring beginning and ends of the video.
I did go on a few of the icons and right clicked, Open With, and tried quick time and also Windows Media and it did nothing as far as how the file was saved for display, and they opened the same no matter which player I used...the actual video opens and plays right at it's first frame... but it's the way it is visually displayed in STORAGE that bugs me because it isn't immediately apparent to me what it is a video of (weddings, outside the house, pet antics)... it makes me have to actually title things and read titles where before I let it just be dates because I had the visual of that first frame as a reference. Obviously, this is a problem for unedited videos only, as anything I actually work with, I do give a title along with the date of the video.
I also just realized this seems to be the way ALL videos that are wrapped in .mp4 are displayed, as my bloggie camera's videos appear the same way. Now I know why! My other videos display as .avi's so I see the frame. Puzzle solved. Guess I'll just have to learn to live with it, as it seems to be how things display with the various formats.
Now I need to watch some tutorials to learn how this Premiere program works! It's all new to me, since this is the first time I've been able load any of my videos onto it. I haven't even been able to figure out how to trim on it yet! -

Sometimes, for whatever reason, I'll change the Start/Stop times of my songs, and I'll forget which ones I've done this to. For me, this can be a hassle, due to the number of songs I have, and the actual amount I listen to my iPod. I'll admit that it's my fault, that when I'm making a ringtone or simply shortening a song temporarily, I'll almost definitely forget to change that shortened time back after I'm done. But that moment when you're listening to a song and it abruptly ends, especially in a place I don't have access to iTunes (and in that situation I usually forget before I get home, exacerbating the problem even further), it can be the most annoying thing ever for me. I don't want to deal with it any longer, though, so here's my question:
How can I view which songs have altered Start/Stop times, without needing to view the Info for each individual song? I can't select all songs and then select "Get Info", because if I do that it won't even show the Option. The only reason I'm here is because I tried to figure it out myself, for weeks on end, and have returned no valid options for solution.
